We're looking for a Senior Manager, Communications & Content to drive forward how Flexport shows up in the world: in the press, on our blog, across social channels, in customer inboxes, and inside the company.
This is a high-visibility, high-trust role. You'll work directly with our CEO & Founder and members of the leadership team to shape Flexport's narrative and ensure we're part of the conversations that matter — from supply chain disruptions and trade policy shifts to AI innovation and the future of logistics. You'll also be the person who makes sure our customers and employees hear from us clearly, consistently, and at the right moments.
This role requires someone who can toggle between crafting a pitch to a Tier 1 reporter, writing a customer email about a service change, coaching an executive before a live interview, and developing a content calendar that ties Flexport's story to the biggest themes in global commerce — all in the same week.

You will serve as the primary legal owner ensuring security requirements are in the contract before signature and that external work product aligns with Anthropic’s security posture and commercial objectives.
Draft and negotiate security design-basis and site-hardening specifications in build-to-suit, lease, and colo agreements (perimeter, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection); guard-force statements of work, post orders, and KPI regimes; visitor, contractor, and badging policy; and security clauses in shared-campus and multi-tenant arrangements
Own provenance, anti-tamper, and chain-of-custody warranties in silicon, ODM, and OEM paper; trusted-supplier and country-of-origin restrictions; NDAA §889/§5949 and CHIPS-Act guardrail flow-downs; BIS/EAR advanced-computing and semiconductor export-control flow-downs and end-use/end-user certifications; firmware integrity, secure-boot, and golden-image escrow terms; secure logistics; counterfeit-part and grey-market controls; and secure decommissioning and certified media-destruction terms
Draft security schedules in carrier and fiber agreements (encryption-in-transit, route integrity, lawful-intercept handling), and security obligations in peering agreements
Set background-screening, training, and badge-revocation requirements for vendor and contractor personnel with site or hardware access, and flow Anthropic personnel-security standards into guard-force, security-integrator, and EPC vendor MSAs
Support CFIUS and outbound-investment screening on infrastructure vendors and sites, provide NIST/ISO/SOC 2 physical-control evidence for customer and auditor assurance in partnership with security teams; and support security representations in customer contracts that reference physical infrastructure with Commercial Legal

Escalate novel structures or terms that create downstream risk for Anthropic’s security posture or operational flexibility; ensure security requirements accommodate AI-specific threats including hardware tamper, supply-chain interdiction, and high-value-target facility risk
Monitor and assess the evolving regulatory landscape affecting security and data protection, identifying higher-risk obligations for the business and partnering with security to operationalize them through policies, controls, and compliance programs
Advise on risk assessments, risk acceptance decisions, and reporting to leadership and the board; and review remediation commitments arising from assessments, customer audits and regulator inquiries.
JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar

This is not a chief of staff role in the traditional sense. This person is not a scheduler, a note-taker, or a communications coordinator. They are an extension of the VP of Product, absorbing context across every workstream, making real prioritization calls, and operating at a level of organized precision that makes the rest of the function run faster.
The right person for this role wants to grow into product leadership and understands that the fastest path there is to operate at close range with someone doing the job. They will be in every room, on every decision, and responsible for ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks, including the principal.
Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. About the Role
The Strategy & Operations team is the "API" through which company strategy, operating rigor, and ways of working are translated into execution across Flex. The Chief of Staff, Care Delivery is a high-impact, highly visible role serving as a force multiplier to the lead of our Care Delivery organization. This leader oversees an organization of approximately 500 clinical and operational staff — spanning nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, community health workers, social workers, and operators — working within a value-based oncology care model.
The Chief of Staff, Care Delivery will drive clarity, alignment, and execution across one of the most complex and consequential parts of the organization. This is not a coordination-only role. The Managing Director leads the campus program and engagement strategy of a $2M+ Hillel, supervising 7+ program professionals, and partnering with senior leadership on operations, communications, and community relations. This role directs the student-facing mission of one of the largest and most dynamic Hillels in North America. The Managing Director reports to the CEO.

Job Summary:
Due to the nature of the role, we are only considering applicants who live within proximity to NYC.
As the Administrative Operations Assistant (Contract Employee), you will provide senior-level administrative support to our President & CEO (50% time) and two other teams (Philanthropy and Ad Council Research Institute (50%). You will be responsible for scheduling, organizing travel/meeting arrangements, submitting expense reports, and all other administrative support, as needed. You will support the team members and leaders with presentations and deck preparation, coordination, and operational tasks, ensuring efficiency and organization.
Additionally, you will assist with the project management for the Philanthropy and ACRI teams, including developing and tracking timelines and status documents, assisting with budgeting and tracking overall project milestones through programs like Asana and Salesforce.
This essential position is perfect for you if you are comfortable managing multiple priorities and personalities, have strong organizational practices, clear and timely written and oral communication skills, and are a great project manager. We are open to this role working remotely, within the NYC area. Some in-office support will be required, as needed.
Compensation & Engagement:
This is a contract employee role. This means that, while the position is at all times one of “at will employment”, the Ad Council anticipates at present that the employment length would be approximately 6 months with the possibility to extend the contract. Depending on experience, the compensation for this position is $5,250 - $5,600 monthly (overtime eligible), paid semi-monthly. Contract employees will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off. There is flexibility with working remotely, though some in-office support may be required.
