The Senior Associate, Claims and Benefits Analyst owns end-to-end member-level billing and reimbursement accuracy, corrections, and escalations. This is a senior operational role responsible for resolving complex billing discrepancies, conducting cross-system investigations, and safeguarding the integrity of cost-share calculations, claims processing, eligibility inputs, and reimbursement workflows.

What You’ll Do

Own Complex Billing & Reimbursement Escalations

• Manage complex billing cases and reimbursement requests from intake through final resolution.
• Investigate discrepancies related to eligibility, prior authorization, cost-share (copay, deductible, out-of-pocket), accumulators, and denied claims.
• Conduct thorough reviews of reimbursement submissions to identify errors in processing and ensure correct payout amounts and methods.
• Ensure all corrections align with compliance standards, internal policies, and payer requirements.

Conduct Cross-System Investigations

• Analyze claims lifecycle data, eligibility feeds (RTE), accumulator logic, and backend billing workflows.
• Differentiate between one-off errors and systemic configuration or automation issues.
• Escalate infrastructure-level defects with clear documentation and impact analysis.
• Perform end-to-end review and resolution for complex member benefits and claims escalations.
• Engage with Maven members via Zendesk support tickets, emails, reimbursement processing, and other business channels as needed.

Partner Cross-Functionally

• Collaborate with Payment Operations, Revenue Cycle Management, Engineering, Finance, Member Benefits, and external TPAs.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for backend billing adjustments and payer coordination.
• Work with internal teams to provide clear and concise explanations of complex billing and benefits issues.

Improve Processes

• Identify recurring billing defects and operational risk trends.
• Recommend workflow or system improvements to reduce future escalations.
• Contribute to SOP refinement and billing integrity initiatives.

Communicate with Clarity

• Explain billing determinations, denials, and member financial responsibility in a clear, compliant, and empathetic manner.
• De-escalate sensitive disputes while maintaining financial accuracy and professional transparency.

What You Bring

• Experience: 4–5+ years in healthcare billing, claims operations, revenue cycle management, or benefits management.
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of claims adjudication, cost-share structures, eligibility verification, and accumulator logic.
• Analytical Rigor: Experience managing complex billing investigations across multiple systems and performing root-cause analysis.
• Systems Fluency: Familiarity with TPA platforms (e.g., Alegeus or similar billing/claims systems).
• Attention to Detail: High precision in reviewing reimbursement payouts and documenting technical discrepancies.

Maven is looking for a Senior Benefits Consultant (Labor & Public Sector), who will report to the Head of Growth Enablement & Strategic Alliances, and be accountable for converting the consultant-influenced pipeline to sales. This role will build strategies for their territory and core consulting firm relationships, create pipeline, progress deals and drive bookings with a particular focus on labor and public sector markets. Success is measured by pipeline, win-rates and closed booking, with targets aligned to company growth goals.

As a Senior Senior Benefits Consultant at Maven, you will:

• Accountable to achieving individual pipeline goal: Originate and qualify new opportunities through consultant networks including those serving labor and public sector clients

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Clinical Insights Analyst to help us analyze, evaluate, and communicate how Maven’s world-class support for women and families impacts clinical (e.g., preterm birth, mental health) and business (e.g., productivity) outcomes.

The Clinical Outcomes Analyst will collaborate closely with members of the Sales and Client Success teams as well as the Data Team, Product Team, and Clinical Operations Team. As an Clinical Insights Analyst at Maven, you will:

• Help design and execute studies to evaluate Maven’s impact on health outcomes and ROI for existing clients, including analysis of healthcare claims and self-reported platform data, study design, and communication of results in Powerpoint and / or Word
• Extract insights on a diverse set of clinical and operational outcomes on our internal data platform primarily in Looker and SQL

This role will be responsible for authoring and maintaining payment policies and SOPs, identifying and mitigating risks related to inaccurate or inconsistent adjudication decisions, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence. As a Manager, Payments Program Governance at Maven, you will:

• Own the end-to-end program governance framework for Maven’s payment products, ensuring policies and standards drive accurate, consistent, and compliant adjudication decisions.

This role will focus on enabling growth across our digital healthcare platform by advising on privacy and data governance matters throughout the product development and launch processes.

You will provide practical guidance across the full product lifecycle — from early-stage design through launch and iteration — ensuring our products reflect strong privacy, consumer protection, and data governance principles.

Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, the Senior Counsel - Product and Privacy will work closely with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders across the company.

As Senior Counsel - Product and Privacy, you will oversee: 

Product Counseling

• Serve as the primary legal partner supporting product and engineering teams.
• Advise on product design, user flows, consent mechanisms, disclosures, marketing claims, and terms of use.
• Partner with teams to design and implement processes to identify legal risk and develop practical, business-aligned mitigation strategies.

Maven is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Clinical Design & Evaluation Manager to help us analyze how Maven’s world-class support for women and families impacts clinical outcomes (e.g., preterm birth, mental health, conception) and to collaborate cross-functionally with Maven’s Product team to develop care models & interventions. The Clinical Design & Evaluation Manager will collaborate closely with all members of the Clinical team, as well as the Data team, Product team, and Care delivery/provider teams. The role will be focused on mining both self-reported, HIE, and platform data to answer questions about Maven’s clinical impact and on crafting materials to communicate these with the scientific community and clients (e.g., white papers, scientific publications, powerpoint slides).  In this role, you will also work closely with the Product team to support evidence informed product design and evaluation. This includes reviewing clinical guidelines and literature to size and prioritize highest impact interventions as well as translating evidence into care workflows within the Maven product. You will communicate clinical outcomes to the scientific community and Maven’s Growth team, and inform clinical product strategy and design in order to continuously drive better clinical outcomes in our product. As a member of our AI-forward team, you will leverage AI to increase efficiency and quality of Maven’s research, as appropriate.

As a Clinical Design & Evaluation Manager at Maven, you will: 

• Help design retrospective and prospective projects to evaluate Maven’s impact on health outcomes
• Collaborate with the Clinical and Product teams on analyses and literature reviews to inform clinical strategy, care workflows and product design
• Quantitatively analyze data for projects assessing Maven’s influence on health outcomes using statistical analysis software (R preferred)
• Communicate research results and design strategy to a diverse audience including the scientific community, clients, and internal cross-functional teams

• Coding experience, in SQL and R (or with the desire and ability to learn R quickly if in another language), and a passion for dissecting and reconstructing complex issues with a data-driven approach
• Statistical experience with adjusted regressions and structural equation modeling
