Mongo is seeking a Head of AI Platform, GM to lead the development and scaling of a new AI Applications Platform. This is a unique "intrapreneurial" role where you will act as the CEO of the product line. You will own the end-to-end success of the platform, with direct responsibility over the R&D organization (Engineering, Product, and Design).

• Product Vision & Execution (0 to Scale): Own the roadmap and delivery of the AI Platform. Take the product from its current state to a market-leading, developer-first platform.
• Business Ownership: Own the P&L for the business unit. Manage the budget for R&D, infrastructure/inference costs, and headcount planning.
• R&D Leadership: Build and lead a distributed high-performance R&D organization. You will manage Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design, fostering a culture of rapid iteration and technical excellence.
• AI Strategy: Build the technical vision for the area, and lead technologists and product managers to document and evangelize the strategy with internal and external customers.
• Go-to-Market Partnership: Collaborate with Partnerships, Sales and Marketing to define our GTM motion. 
• Customer Evangelism: Act as the "technical face" of the product for strategic customers, partners, and the open-source community.

Requirements

• Entrepreneurial Track Record: Experience as a founder, early-stage employee, or "0-to-1" leader within a larger tech company. You must have experience building and launching a software product from scratch.
• Technical Depth in AI: Deep understanding of the AI landscape. You should be familiar with AI frameworks, foundation models, embeddings and vector databases. 
• Cloud & Platform Expertise: 10+ years of experience building scalable Cloud/SaaS products, enterprise infrastructure software or developer platforms (APIs, SDKs, or infrastructure tools).
• Leader of Leaders: Proven experience managing managers and leading cross-functional organizations of 100+ people.

We are seeking a Senior Manager of GTM Operations to lead AI and horizontal platform programs within the Core Operations team. The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a US government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. Our FedRAMP program requires that anyone who is accessing customer data or metadata inside the Authorization Boundary be a US Citizen on US Soil. In order for us to triage and assign cases, it is necessary to be able to identify available resources at any given time. For this reason the FedRamp team is composed of three separate shifts: first shift, second shift, and third shift. This posting is for Third Shift, in which your working hours would be 8pm-5am PST. The Atlas Data Federation and Archiving (ADFA) Customer Experience team supports the Atlas Data Federation system which empowers customers to create virtual databases that can query, transform, and analyze data across multiple sources (MongoDB clusters and cloud object storage) through a unified MongoDB query interface, without moving or copying the underlying data. MongoDB Technical Services Engineers use their outstanding problem solving and customer service skills, along with their deep technical experience, to advise customers and to solve their complex MongoDB problems. Shift Information:

• We are looking to speak to candidates who are interested in working out of our Palo Alto, CA office under our in-office working model Monday to Friday for the first 3-6 months depending on ramping speed. 
• Once considered ramped, they will transition to a permanent Wednesday - Sunday 8am-5pm work week (with 3 in-office days) to provide weekend coverage alongside other peers. Saturdays and Sundays are considered fully online workdays and not an on-call shift.
• Due to the 24/7 nature of our support organization, certain events throughout the year will require volunteering for coverage outside one’s normal work days or work hours (i.e. regional offsites, regional holidays, etc). • In this cross‑functional role as a Technical Services Engineer, you will work with the largest and most demanding customers to drive successful implementations of MongoDB Server, MongoDB Search, and managed backups on Kubernetes platforms
• Enhance your technical troubleshooting expertise and experience as a TSE (Technical Services Engineer) by working on customer use cases, evaluating solutions, customer business pain points, application architectures, and Cloud infrastructure configurations

• Support and guide our strategic customers, focus on day-to-day resolution and proactively drive progress

MongoDB Pre-Sales Solution Architects are responsible for guiding our customers and users to design and build reliable, scalable systems using our data platform. Our team is made up of seasoned technical sales professionals, software architects, entrepreneurs, and developers who take direct responsibility for customer success, including the design of their software, deployment, and operations. Our team focuses on creating and enhancing components which facilitate communication between distributed processes and make these processes, and their communication, easily observable. Networking Observability’s responsibilities include improving MongoDB networking, improving the efficiency of resource utilization, and building low-overhead observability features.

Our team includes engineers located in New York City and fully remote engineers. The MongoDB Query Testing Tools Team is hiring Software Engineers who want to join us in building a state-of-the-art distributed query system. Our Team builds tooling that allows us to ship Query Engine features with high confidence in both correctness and performance, making it a great fit if you like seeing your work protect real customers at scale. The team develops advanced testing frameworks (end-to-end testing, fuzzing, property-based testing) as well as performance measurement tools, including high-volume workload generation tools.

The team is part of the Query organization which is responsible for the MongoDB Query Language and the lifecycle of each query, from parsing to optimization to plan selection; our engineers work on maintaining and improving our optimization and execution frameworks and building new query language features to help power our customers' critical workloads. Throughout all our work, our highest priority is always ensuring that customer queries are answered correctly. The successful applicant will be responsible for helping us to maintain the highest standards of quality through rigorous development, testing and automation strategies.

This role can be based out of our Dublin office, or remotely in the Ireland region.

Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of experience in software development and/or performance engineering.
• Fluency in Python, Javascript or Typescript
• Enjoys chasing down difficult problems in a distributed environment
• Able to make complex concepts easy to grasp in written and spoken English
• Able to decompose and solve complex problems and can rapidly iterate by validating new hypotheses and rethinking current assumptions
• Demonstrating hands-on experience working with relational or NoSQL databases is a plus
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Advanced degrees of experience in database query engines is a plus
• Experience in developing automation test frameworks is a plus.

Position Expectations

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, Performance automated tests and internal tooling for the MongoDB query engine
• Collaborate closely with peers to understand new features and functionalities, ensuring testability, test frameworks, tooling and coverage for automating tests of both happy-path and edge-case scenarios.
• Provide feedback in code reviews, focusing on the robustness and reliability of code changes.

Success Measures

• Within three months, you have gained an understanding of MongoDB's MQL syntax and its semantics, as well as the behavior of our unique query engine. You have contributed to several code bases on Mongodb engine internal tooling. 
• By six months, you have established yourself as a key owner of automated test frameworks, and demonstrated improvements in test efficiency and coverage. 
• After twelve months, you are instrumental in ensuring quality of major new features, setting an example for new team members in best practices for correctness and performance test automation and internal tooling.

The Drivers Documentation team is a hands-on and enthusiastic group of engineers who are passionate about teaching developers how to work with data and build applications. We are hiring a “Technical Writer, Drivers” to help us create world-class documentation for MongoDB's developer-focused products -- in particular, MongoDB Drivers and Connectors.

Our team works closely with MongoDB's engineering and product organizations to deliver outstanding developer documentation for everyone, regardless of where they are in their software engineering career. Candidate Profile: 

Candidates must have 3+ years of combined experience in one or more of the following roles: technical writer, developer advocate, and/or  software engineer. Beyond industry experience, we are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced with developing and shipping modern line-of-business applications OR has extensive experience contributing to complex documentation sites, preferably in a docs-as-code environment
• Experienced with using great developer documentation and educational materials. You are excited to empower other developers by creating best-in-class documentation

Position Expectations:

• Research functionality and features and validate it through testing
• Develop sample apps & code examples to help users kickstart their projects or refresh themselves on syntax

Success Measures

• Within three months, you’ll be comfortable with our tools and writing style and be able to apply them when authoring new content for MongoDB Drivers and Connectors. You’ll also have completed our company’s required technical onboarding.
• Within six months, you’ll have gained enough product expertise to propose and deliver new projects while building relationships with the teams that we work with. You’ll also be applying our writing style and coding best practices in both your own work and reviews of your teammates’ work.
