Stripe is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Regulatory Compliance & Money Laundering Reporting Officer (RC & MLRO) to lead our regulatory compliance and financial crimes program in Japan. This role sits within the Affiliates pillar of the Financial Crime, Compliance & Risk Oversight (FinCRO) organization, and you will be reporting to the APAC Affiliates Lead.
You will be the named RC & MLRO of Stripe Japan and will lead/assist in the registration of Stripe Japan as a Funds Transfer Business Operator (FTBO) with the Kanto Local Finance Bureau (KBF), under the oversight of the Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA). In your role as the RC & MLRO, you will be the principal decision-maker and strategic lead on regulatory compliance and financial crime risk management decisions, serving a critical role in ensuring Stripe’s continued safe growth and success in Japan. You will also be the public face of FinCRO in Japan. The ideal candidate must have deep subject matter expertise and a proven track record building and evolving tech-forward regulatory compliance and financial crime programs (collectively, compliance programs).

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
BSCS or equivalent with extensive experience as a Sales Engineer or systems integrator
7+ years of experience in Pre-Sales roles, with at least 3 years focused on selling security or networking solutions in direct or high-touch sales environments
Technical proficiency in HTTP and web-related technologies
High fluency in written and spoken Japanese

• Plan, execute, oversee, and document process qualifications for new installations, conversions, and continuous improvement retrofits for PE‑CVD, PE‑ALD, ALD, CVD, and epitaxy reactors at customer sites
• Lead structured problem‑solving activities to identify root causes, develop robust solutions, and support rapid closure of tool excursion escalations during install and sustaining phases
• Act as a senior technical interface for customers, understanding current needs, identifying new opportunities, and anticipating future process requirements to build long‑term, trusted partnerships
• Develop, maintain, and standardize process recipes, experimental data, and technical documentation for use by internal teams and external stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer experience, tool performance, productivity, cost reduction, and process robustness
• Provide hands‑on field engineering support when required, including assembly, disassembly, calibration, decommissioning, and troubleshooting of advanced electro‑mechanical semiconductor capital equipment
• Collaborate closely with global hardware, process, R&D, and service teams to align field feedback with product and process improvements

Job Summary:
The Manager, APAC Social Media & Influencer Marketing role will lead and scale our social and influencer strategy across key APAC markets including Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
This role will be responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and performance outcomes through social media and influencer marketing. This position plays a critical role in shaping APAC growth strategy, operating at both a strategic and tactical level. The ideal candidate will elevate agency performance, develop localized strategies, and translate social and influencer initiatives into measurable business impact.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders internally, as well as external agency and creator partners across the region.
Job Expectations:
Develop and execute APAC social media and influencer marketing strategies aligned with global brand and business objectives
Build scalable frameworks that drive both brand equity and performance outcomes across diverse APAC markets
Identify growth opportunities across established and emerging markets including Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia
Lead and manage external social and influencer agencies across multiple APAC markets, ensuring high-quality execution and strategic alignment
Establish clear KPIs, performance expectations, and reporting structures for agency partners
Conduct regular business reviews and performance audits to optimize ROI and elevate agency output from execution to strategic partnership
Ensure strong localization while maintaining global brand consistency
