As a Capital Credit Manager, Underwriting and Portfolio Management, you will be a core member of Flexport Capital’s credit team, managing a large book of 40–60+ accounts spanning SMB, mid-market and enterprise borrowers. You will independently underwrite IF, LF, Term Loan and ABL deals. You will help drive the management of distressed credits and workouts, design policies and SOPs for new products, as well as architect the analytical frameworks that drive portfolio monitoring. This is a hands-on role where you own the full credit lifecycle, from underwriting through ongoing portfolio monitoring and client communication. You’ll help drive process improvements, and contribute to our risk scoring model development, all while building deeper expertise in Flexport’s freight, fulfillment and customs operations.
• Own a Large, Complex Portfolio: Manage 40–60+ accounts with topline revenues up to ~$75M and credit limits up to $5M. You will handle accounts across the CRR spectrum, including credits showing early signs of distress that require proactive intervention and creative deal restructuring.
• Underwrite Deals Independently: Handle IF/LF, Term Loan and ABL underwriting end- to-end. Design covenants, milestone-based step-ups, and restructure proposed deals to match credit’s risk appetite.
• Resolve Complex Credit Problems: Interpret ambiguous financials, seasonal revenue swings, multi-entity structures, improving-but-weak trajectories, and exercise judgment in recommending policy exceptions with clear risk/reward framing. Identify when a deal structure won’t work and reconstruct it proactively before it reaches the Investment Committee.
• Lead Client Diligence & Communication: Run diligence calls with CFOs and controllers of SMB and smaller mid-market companies. Push back on BD submissions with data and facts. Present credit recommendations to the Investment Committee with guidance from the Head of Credit. Own the end-to-end credit relationship with your clients.
• Drive Process Improvements: Develop systematic improvements to credit operations —redesigning BD and UW workflows to reduce friction, establishing lien filing optimization, and creating monitoring spot-check systems. Lead projects beyond individual account management that make the entire team more effective.
• Contribute to Credit Analytics & CRR Development: Contribute to CRR model development including financial ratio calibration and risk weight tuning. Design and maintain portfolio monitoring dashboards, and help build automations for repetitive credit operations.
• Manage Compliance & Lien Operations: Independently manage UCC filings, amendments, and lien perfection across US and international jurisdictions. Lead quarterly lien audit and security review processes. Ensure portfolio-wide compliance with BlackRock facility covenants and eligibility criteria, and drive expansion of secured coverage.
• 5–7 years of experience in commercial lending, credit risk, or portfolio management. Trade finance, working capital, or inventory financing experience is highly preferred.
• Independent Underwriting Capability: You can independently underwrite IF/LF and Term Loan facilities end-to-end. You understand advance rates, covenant design, borrowing base fundamentals, lien priority, and UCC filing procedures. Proficiency in ABL fundamentals is a strong plus.
• Credit Judgment & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to interpret ambiguous financials, recommend policy exceptions with clear risk/reward framing, and proactively restructure deals that don’t make credit sense. You don’t just flag problems—you come with solutions.
• CRR & Risk Model Awareness: You understand why automated credit risk rating outputs sometimes diverge from qualitative reality and can propose specific recalibration adjustments such as financial ratio breakdowns and chart tuning.
• Client-Facing Confidence: Comfortable leading diligence calls with CFOs and controllers, pushing back on BD submissions with data, and presenting credit recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: SQL proficiency (complex queries, analytical views). Python for analysis scripts, financial modeling, and portfolio reporting is a strong plus. Experience with Looker, GSheets dashboards, or automation tools (Parabola, Airtable, n8n) preferred.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Proven ability to guide junior analysts on credit approach and technical questions. You are a team player who makes colleagues better and can coordinate effectively with Legal, BD, and Operations.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CFA, or FRM is a plus.

THE ROLE
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be a founding technical pillar for our new Plano, Texas data center, bridging the gap between hardware engineering and software-driven automation. You will design and deploy high-performance spine-leaf fabrics that serve as the backbone for Pure’s global R&D, ensuring our engineering teams have the deterministic capacity they need to innovate. Collaborating across Infrastructure Engineering, you’ll transform complex networking requirements into automated, self-healing services that power the future of data storage.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain automated workflows using Ansible, Python, and ZTP to standardize configuration templates, integrating network provisioning directly into compute and PDU commissioning workflows.
Support the Plano Launch & Migration: Act as the onsite technical lead for the Texas facility buildout, coordinating with Hardware and Logistics teams to oversee rack/pod turn-ups, structured cabling verification, and the seamless migration of tenant testbeds.
Elevate Observability & Reliability: Optimize network health by onboarding devices into NMS/flow tools and managing the full lifecycle of L2/L3 incidents to ensure 24/7 operational reliability for engineering customers.
Technical Mentorship & Governance: Serve as a senior resource for NetDevOps practices, mentoring junior engineers and defining the documentation standards (runbooks and topologies) that will govern our global network operations.
WHAT YOU BRING
NetDevOps & Automation Toolkit: Proven ability to manage infrastructure through code, utilizing Linux proficiency and scripting (Python/Shell) to build Ansible-driven deployment and monitoring solutions.
Security & Service Integration: Extensive experience configuring data center firewalls, load balancers, and network zones to maintain robust security postures across complex lab and production environments.
Strategic Problem Solving: A track record of leading scoped technical workstreams independently—from initial design and capacity planning to incident response and high-stakes data center migrations.
Location: Dallas, Texas area. You will start remotely while the office space is being built out, with an expectation of regular on-site work at the Plano data center for deployments and incident response once active.
Schedule: Standard US business hours with flexibility for global collaboration; participation in an on-call rotation and maintenance windows is required to support 24/7 operations.
Travel: Occasional travel to other Pure data centers (e.g., Utah, California) for planning sessions and team on-sites.

About the Role
As Roofstock continues to scale its national footprint, we are seeking a Safety Specialist to serve as the chief architect of our physical safety culture and a key partner in supporting our fleet operations.
This is a safety-first role. You will develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive workplace safety program for the organization, covering everything from OSHA compliance and incident investigation to field safety training and risk assessment. You will also contribute to fleet operations alongside Scott Lawrence and the Field Operations team, supporting vehicle compliance, driver safety, and vendor coordination. Qualifications
The base salary for this role is between $100,000–$200,000 per year and represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. We're looking for a rare combination: a data scientist who thinks like a strategist and a strategist who speaks fluent data. You fall in love with problems and quantify complex situations using math. This isn't a role about building models in isolation—it's about transforming how a business makes decisions, identifies opportunities, and drives growth. You'll be equal parts analyst, advisor, and architect of our strategic direction.
You'll sit at the intersection of data and strategy, turning complex business challenges into quantifiable opportunities. This means diving deep into our numbers to surface insights that others miss, then translating those insights into actionable growth strategies. You'll work directly with leadership to shape major business decisions, from market expansion and pricing strategy to resource allocation and competitive positioning.
Your day-to-day will involve identifying the right questions to ask before anyone else thinks to ask them, building the analytical frameworks to answer those questions, and presenting recommendations that fundamentally shift how we operate. You'll own strategic initiatives from conception through execution, measuring impact and iterating as you go. You’ll travel to client sites as needed, leading AI assessment and Strategy Engagements.
The Strategic Mindset: You naturally think several moves ahead. You understand business models, competitive dynamics, and growth levers. You can walk into a room with executives and hold your own in discussions about market strategy, unit economics, and long-term planning. You've seen how businesses succeed and fail, and you know how to spot the difference.
The Technical Depth: You're genuinely strong in quantitative methods—statistics, predictive modeling, optimization, experimental design. You can wrangle messy data, build robust analyses, and know when a sophisticated model is needed versus when a simple calculation will do. Python, R, SQL are still in your wheelhouse.
The Translation Layer: You can explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders without dumbing them down. You know how to build conviction around data-driven recommendations and can defend your methodology when challenged. You make the quantitative accessible and actionable.
The Business Acumen: You understand P&Ls, growth metrics, customer economics, and operational levers. You've worked closely enough with business teams to know what keeps them up at night and how your analyses can help them sleep better.
You might come from management consulting with deep analytical chops, strategic roles at high-growth companies, corporate strategy teams with hands-on data work, or data science roles where you've grown into strategic advisory. What matters most is that you've successfully used data to change how businesses operate and grow.
In your first year, you'll have identified three major strategic opportunities we weren't seeing before, built the analytical infrastructure to evaluate them rigorously, and driven at least one to implementation with measurable business impact. You'll have become a trusted advisor to leadership and the person they turn to when facing the company's thorniest strategic questions.
The annual salary for this role ranges from: $145,000 to $195,000 USD + bonus + benefits. Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
