The FP&A Sales Finance & Strategy team is a critical partner to The Trade Desk’s global commercial organization, driving growth by providing data-driven financial insights, surfacing revenue opportunities and risks, and delivering resource planning and performance analysis that unlocks long-term value. We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Sales Finance & Strategy in New York City to serve as the dedicated finance business partner to our North American Sales leadership team. This high-impact role will work closely with the GTM senior sales leaders, providing trusted counsel on financial performance, strategic growth opportunities, and operational levers to maximize revenue and ROI. About the Role:
The Contract Manager, Revenue Operations is the hands‑on owner of the commercial side of our customer contracting process. This role sits within the Deal Desk team and is responsible for first‑line intake, triage, and execution of customer commercial contract and order form changes that can and should be resolved without Legal resources, accelerating deals while maintaining strong commercial and data integrity.
You will own the commercial side of our customer contracts, ensuring that billing terms, dates, discounts, price caps, ramps, and usage structures are captured in a way that systems can support at scale, including a clear separation between commercial order details and core legal terms. Your focus is on making commercial mechanics precise, bookable, and system‑ready (not on drafting new legal concepts).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$166,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. You'll inherit a technically sharp, high-trust team and a clear mandate: architect a support function where intelligent AI agents handle the majority of interactions autonomously, human effort is reserved for what requires genuine judgment, and the gap between incoming ticket volume and resolved ticket volume is continuously closing — without proportional headcount growth.
You'll need to be as comfortable designing a multi-agent orchestration system as you are coaching a team member through a difficult customer conversation. The right person for this role sees agentic AI not as a tool to bolt onto existing processes, but as the foundation to build from.
Vision and strategy for agentic support. You'll define what the support function needs to look like as AI capabilities evolve — setting the architecture for how customer-facing agents, orchestration layers, and human escalation paths fit together. This isn't a roadmap you inherit; it's one you build and continuously refine as the technology and the product surface area change.
Customer-facing agent design and operations. You'll own the build-out of an AI-native support layer — designing the agents customers interact with, the knowledge bases that power them, the escalation logic that routes edge cases to humans, and the quality standards that govern all of it. You're not enabling a tool; you're designing a system.
Analytical rigor and business decision support. You'll own the metrics that matter: ticket inflow rates, autonomous resolution rates, escalation patterns, time-to-resolution, and the gap between incoming and resolved volume. You'll use this data to make and support business decisions — including when to deploy additional agent capacity, when to invest in knowledge base coverage, and where human support is still the right answer.
Team leadership and development. You'll manage, coach, and grow a team that operates at the intersection of technical investigation, customer empathy, and engineering partnership. You'll own performance development, create clarity on roles and expectations, and build a culture where people do their best work.
Agentic bug triage and resolution. You'll formalize how AI agents are used in the bug investigation and resolution workflow — defining which categories of issues are in scope for agent-assisted diagnosis, establishing human review gates, and working with engineering to make the workflow fast and safe.

Technical fluency. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to be credible in technical conversations. You're comfortable reading logs, understanding how a web application works end to end, and forming a clear hypothesis about what's broken and why. Experience with observability tooling, agent orchestration platforms, or workflow systems is a strong plus.
AI and automation depth. You've built or operated AI-assisted support workflows with real production usage. You think natively about leverage points — where agents compound, where they break down, and how to design for both.

About the Role
The Science desk of The New York Times is looking for a creative and energetic reporter to cover biotech. We're looking to define that beat in a captivating way, searching for remarkable stories on such topics as early-stage pharmaceuticals, promising medical devices (including futuristic fields like brain-computer interfaces), the frontiers of vaccine development, reproductive technology and more. The Digital News Design team is looking for a digitally focused art director and designer. You have experience in visual journalism and social media. You will design and produce material including templates, patterns and unique formats for several platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
As the senior designer and art director on the Social Visuals team, you will collaborate with reporters, editors, producers and designers to craft digital assets and visual experiences for our various social media channels. Some of our most far-reaching and engaging journalism comes from our graphics and data teams. We are looking for someone who can both analyze audience behavior and translate those insights into editorial and distribution strategies that expand the reach and impact of this work.
This editor will combine audience strategy with hands-on data analysis. They will interpret and translate how readers discover, engage with and share visual journalism; surface insights that inform coverage and presentation; and help ensure that stories reach the widest possible audience across Times platforms and beyond.
They will work closely with editors and our newsroom audience analytics team to inform both day-to-day coverage and long-term editorial projects, including interactive data features like election results, poll tracking and weather maps.
They will develop analyses and dashboards that help the desks understand how their work performs and then make strategic recommendations based on that audience research.

The Science desk is seeking a creative and ambitious editor to lead visual journalism that helps people understand the world of science in compelling and surprising ways.The Science desk is a highly collaborative team; editors and reporters work closely together to tell stories that resonate with readers. You will be part of the desk’s leadership group, responsible for setting our news and enterprise goals and then realizing our ambitions. You’ll coach and manage the work of journalists while also partnering with the Times’s visual journalists to help create a heartbeat of engaging projects that leverage text, video, graphics, photography or a mix of forms.
You are a capable editor of text and visuals, and you’re comfortable with the technical complexity of modern digital publishing. By overseeing lines of coverage or individual stories, you help select, assign and edit news, features and enterprise, with the aim of making the report more visual. You will work with reporters and collaborate with visual departments to facilitate a variety of coverage forms.

Responsibilities:
Engage deeply with Science coverage; help determine its visual direction and raise ambitions for visual journalism across news and enterprise.
Drive Science’s visual journalism by guiding the development of stories that make smart use of video, photography, illustration and graphics.

Work with the Video team to identify opportunities for short-form linear video that features a variety of reporting on the Science desk.

Collaborate closely with video, photo and graphics editors, designers and art directors across the newsroom and be point of contact for larger multimedia efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Excellent news judgment and visual creativity while ensuring the accuracy, clarity and readability of the material.
Demonstrated record of producing high-level visual journalism, with an emphasis on visualization, explanatory visuals, digital design, use of video, photos and other visual forms.
Demonstrated ability to write clearly, and edit to sharpen the relationship between visuals and copy.
