Minimum Qualifications
In addition to the above qualifications, a Senior Frontend Engineer should have experience leading projects and mentoring junior developers, as well as the ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives. They should also be comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality products that meet business goals and user needs.
For candidates in NYC, CA or CO, the salary range for this role is $195,000 - $250,000 per year. You may also receive a bonus, stock options, and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, and remotely via San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). Drive Loyalty ROI: Design and ship features across the Rewards domain that encourage members to earn, track, and—most importantly—spend their points.
Full-Stack Flexibility: While the focus is React, the service includes contributing to React Native mobile experiences and engaging with Backend topics to ensure end-to-end delivery of features.
High-Velocity Iteration: Maintain an aggressive development cadence, turning hypotheses into live experiments in day(s), not weeks.
AI-Augmented Engineering: Develop usage patterns and tailor processes to enable optimal customer impact. This involves finding ways to utilize AI to automate tasks and accelerate code generation.
Shape the Backlog: Drive the product direction. High-level contribution to the hypothesis backlog is expected, helping decide what is built based on data coming from customer behavior.

Propose and implement new features, capabilities, tooling, visualizations, or even full products across our stack. We encourage our engineers to look beyond their immediate team for missed opportunities, and to speak up when they identify one.
Establish and evolve our React component library, ensuring consistency, reusability, and alignment with our visual design standards across multiple front-ends.
Collaborate with others beyond your team and share knowledge with the wider frontend community at Helsing. Contribute to establishing our frontend engineering standards. Build or adopt tools that help enforce these standards, or make our frontend engineers more efficient in a different way.
Become a mentor, find a mentee, and help support and develop our interviewing pipeline. The people make or break the company, and we want as many engineers as possible to be part of fostering and growing the organisation.
Share your experience and technical know-how with other Helsingers. We host tech talks, get together for smaller "let's learn together" groups, run topical office hours or reading groups (e.g., on React or TypeScript), etc. to help each other get better with time.

Our Autonomous Air System V&V team builds the simulation and validation environments that enable rigorous testing of autonomous air systems before they ever leave the ground. We develop Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) environments that allow engineers to integrate, test, and assure AI-driven capabilities against virtualised and representative hardware.
We build software that is subject to significant and unorthodox technical constraints, must operate in a wide variety of constantly-changing environments, and has to support an ever-growing list of challenging use-cases. What we build ultimately ends up in the hands of real people in high-risk, high-stress situations – from mission planning to command and control (C2) and mission debrief – so must be both reliable and frictionless.
Taken together, this brings a whole host of interesting engineering challenges across a wide variety of fields that you'll help us solve. To give some examples:
Data visualization (e.g., rendering complex simulation outputs, test results, and AI behavior in human-understandable ways)

The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated front-end construction lawyer to join our leading Brisbane Construction and Infrastructure team. Working closely with our experienced partners and lawyers, you will provide practical and commercially focused advice to government and private sector clients on the procurement, structuring and delivery of major infrastructure, energy and resources projects.
This role offers exposure to complex and high-value projects from the outset, including transport, roads, water and waste, mining infrastructure, rail and port facilities, airports, education facilities and renewable energy developments. You will assist in drafting and negotiating sophisticated project agreements, advising on procurement strategies, risk allocation and contract administration, and supporting clients through all stages of project delivery.
You will join a highly collaborative and technically strong team where partners are hands-on and invested in mentoring junior lawyers. The role provides an exceptional opportunity to develop both technical expertise and commercial judgement, while building lasting relationships with clients on projects that shape Queensland’s infrastructure and energy landscape.
Experience
