We are seeking a Principal Kubernetes Architect to serve as a senior technical authority for the design, evolution, and operation of InterSystems Kubernetes based cloud platforms. Role Overview

The Global Delivery Leader will own the strategy, architecture, and global execution of InterSystems’ cloud-native Service Delivery Platform. This platform—built on Kubernetes and Spectro Cloud—underpins all SaaS and Managed Services delivery for InterSystems IRIS and the broader portfolio across private datacenters and public cloud providers. 

This role is accountable for leading globally distributed engineering and operations teams that design, build, and run a highly available, secure, and scalable platform spanning InterSystems datacenters, AWS, Azure, and GCP. The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Platform Core & Security to lead and evolve our Core/Security Platform engineering function while strengthening our security posture across the ESW cloud ecosystem.

• Contribute to the company as a subject matter expert in multiple areas, constantly pushing yourself to be a better engineer and to level up all of your peers within your team and within Klaviyo.

Who you are:

Overview

We are seeking a Kubernetes Engineer to join our global infrastructure team and help scale, automate, and secure our container orchestration environments across on-premises and public cloud platforms. As a Kubernetes specialist, you’ll work closely with DevOps, SRE, and security teams to deliver reliable, self-service, and production-ready Kubernetes clusters that power mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Cluster Management 

• Deploy, manage, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters using tools like kubeadm, EKS, AKS, GKE, or Rancher.
• Implement robust RBAC, network policies, ingress controllers, and security frameworks in Kubernetes.

Automation & IaC 

• Automate cluster provisioning and application deployment pipelines using Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Build reusable modules for consistent infrastructure delivery across staging and production.

CI/CD Integration 

• Integrate Kubernetes with modern CI/CD workflows for rapid, safe application delivery.
• Support GitOps practices and continuous deployment automation.

Monitoring, Logging & Troubleshooting 

• Implement observability for Kubernetes using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Fluentd/Fluent Bit.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and maintaining high-availability infrastructure  leveraging automation, infrastructure-as code, and advanced monitoring. You’ll partner closely with our application engineering teams to ensure our services meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Senior SREs at Prove are responsible for driving 99.999% uptime for existing and developing products. Implementing, automating, and developing infrastructure are methods to these outcomes. Qualified candidates will be well versed in the difference between methods and ownership of outcomes and be able to demonstrate and document their previous relevant experience. 

Lead

• Contribute to infrastructure system design and application architecture within Platform Engineering and across engineering teams
• Develop and implement infrastructure-as-code standards using tools like Terraform and/or OpenTofu
• Act as a strong technical partner with our engineering teams
• Champion observability with product owners and engineering teams

Optimize

• Improve new and existing systems by increasing reliability, performance, and scalability
• Automate routine operational tasks to reduce toil and improve efficiency
• Ensure infrastructure security compliance and implement least-privilege access controls
• Enhance existing CI/CD pipelines and feedback loops for maximum reliability
• Enable auto-scaling infrastructure based on custom metrics for applications and critical observability infrastructure

• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation every 6-7 weeks, respond to our most critical alerts and resolve challenging events

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Software Engineering roles with a strong infrastructure, operations, and/or production engineering aspect also qualify.
• 2+ years of experience in technical project leadership
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Expert knowledge of observability platforms and practices (e.g., tracing, metrics, logging) with hands-on experience using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Honeycomb and OpenTelemetry 
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration and Gitops methodologies
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Spacelift, OpenTofu)
• Skilled proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Go, Python)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Experience working in a high compliance environment
• Hand-on experience instrumenting code with OpenTelemetry
• Deep familiarity with service mesh technologies 
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience in the identity verification or financial technology industry
• Application development experience
