The Opportunity
The Director of People Operations and Transformation is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all facets of the human resources operations lifecycle, with a primary focus on driving efficiency, effectiveness, and technological advancement.
This role will lead the scaling of the HR function by leveraging smart technology solutions to streamline processes, enhance employee experience, and produce data-driven metrics demonstrating operational success. The Director of People Operations and Transformation is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing Senior Manager ready to step into a more senior, strategic leadership role.
This role is hybrid, with approximately 50% of your time in the office and 50% remote. We’re currently based in Swords, Co. Dublin, and will be relocating to our new office at North Wall Quay, Dublin 1 in May 2026.
Responsibilities
Strategic Operations Management
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding ensuring efficient, compliant, and integrated operational processes.
- Lead the HR requirements for market expansion in line with our strategic growth targets, ensuring scalable solutions that enable the business.
- Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and business objectives.
HR Technology & Transformation Leadership
- Identify, evaluate, and implement HR technology solutions (leveraging Workday, Greenhouse, Cloudpay and AI-driven tools) to automate tasks, improve data accuracy, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, redesigning existing workflows to maximize efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and ensure scalability across the organization.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Define, track, and report on key HR metrics and KPIs including turnover rates, HR operational efficiency and SLA’s to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and identify areas for strategic improvement.
- Provide regular reporting within HR and external stakeholders as required.
Programme Management
- Lead and manage cross functional HR Programs that enhance/improve the overall employee experience and continuously improve back-office people operations process.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all HR operations comply with relevant labour laws and regulations across all our geographies and are customer centric in design.
- Implement robust internal controls to protect employee data and mitigate operational risks and lead the required reviews of policy compliance and data in line with internal risk functions and audits.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external HR service providers and technology vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and optimized for cost and performance.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of HR operations specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer centricity.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in HR operations, with at least 3 years experience leading a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proven experience implementing and optimizing enterprise-level HR technology solutions (preferably Workday), ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
- Strong strategic understanding of HRIS with advanced proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools, and the ability to anticipate and leverage emerging HR technology trends.
- Strong ability to interpret multiple data sets, translate metrics into actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives in a fast-paced and scaling environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and translate stakeholder needs into efficient and effective HR workflows.
- Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

The Opportunity
As the Senior Manager, Data Privacy, you will take a proactive, hands-on role in ensuring that ESW adheres to the highest standards of data protection laws. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive practical privacy initiatives, directly implement robust data governance frameworks, and manage privacy risk assessments.
This position involves substantial senior advisory responsibilities and cross-functional business partnering, requiring the ability to influence at all levels within the business. You will plan initiatives and actively execute a prioritised Privacy roadmap and serve as a key driver of ESW’s privacy strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Execute the Data Privacy Programme
- Act as the primary owner of ESW’s data privacy efforts, hands-on coordinating and implementing measures to ensure compliance with GDPR, ePrivacy, and other applicable global data privacy regulations.
- Translate the high-level Privacy strategy into concrete, actionable tasks on a yearly roadmap.
Practical Guidance & Advisory
- Provide both strategic direction and direct support on privacy matters across business areas (marketing, product development, sales, and customer service).
- Proactively identify risks, propose mitigations, and embed privacy by design throughout new and existing processes.
Develop & Implement Privacy Controls
- Draft, refine, and continuously improve data privacy policies and procedures; ensure these are actively rolled out and adopted across the organization.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new products, services, or processing activities, promptly managing identified risks.
Promote a Privacy-by-Design Culture
- Champion an organisational culture of privacy and data protection, engaging teams directly to ensure that privacy considerations are integrated into all stages of product and service development.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of targeted training initiatives to ensure employees fully understand and comply with privacy requirements.
Roadmap, Metrics & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide regular, data-driven reporting on progress against privacy goals to ESW and Asendia stakeholder committees.
- Partner with third-party vendors, conducting due diligence to ensure compliance with data protection laws and promptly addressing any identified gaps.
Market & Regulatory Scanning
- Monitor emerging trends in data privacy, including new tooling/automation, case law, regulatory strategies, guidance, and legislation changes.
- Quickly adapt ESW’s privacy practices to address newly identified risks or compliance requirements.
Key Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data privacy, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of hands-on engagement with data privacy in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience conducting DPIAs and privacy risk assessments, with direct involvement in implementing remediation actions.
- Deep understanding of GDPR, ePrivacy Regulations, and other relevant data protection legislation.
- CIPP/E, CIPM, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and effectively translate privacy requirements into practical, actionable steps.
- Familiarity with privacy management platforms (e.g., OneTrust).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, with proven success in conveying the importance of privacy to varied audiences.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Platform Core & Security to lead and evolve our Core/Security Platform engineering function while strengthening our security posture across the ESW cloud ecosystem.
This role combines deep platform engineering leadership with security ownership. You will be responsible for driving the technical direction, reliability, and scalability of our Core Platform (built on .NET, Azure, Kafka, AKS, Cosmos DB), while embedding security-by-design principles across the entire SDLC.
You will lead a team of senior engineers across Platform Core and Security, ensuring our systems are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
Responsibilities

Lead and scale the Core/Security Platform engineering team.

10+ years of experience in backend, platform, or cloud engineering.

Deep experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, Cosmos DB, Azure Monitor).
