Job Summary

The Technical (Data Centre Design) Program Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of data centre projects, including design review, construction, commissioning, and operational handover. This role ensures that all MEP engineering, construction, and operational requirements are met on time, within budget, and according to quality and compliance standards.

The position involves close coordination with multi-disciplinary teams — mechanical electrical, plumbing (MEP), civil, electrical, IT infrastructure, security and operations — to deliver hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centres.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical and electrical expertise, hands-on experience in hyperscale and Tier III+ data centres, and proven project management leadership.  This position can be based in Cyberjaya or Johor as a hybrid onsite structure is needed, and will require at least 30% travel to the other site and other regional travel when key meetings or coverage is needed.

 Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Execution

• Lead full project lifecycle: planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, energization, and handover.
  Develop, monitor, and maintain master project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Establish project governance framework, reporting cadence, and executive dashboards.
  • Identify project risks, maintain risk registers, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues.
  • Manage contract administration, variation orders (VO), claims assessment, and commercial negotiations.

       2. Engineering & Technical Oversight

• Review, approve, and coordinate technical designs: electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, security, and IT infrastructure.
  Validate system redundancy (N+1, N+2, 2N, 2N+1) and operational reliability requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, utility requirements, and international standards (Uptime Tier III/IV, NFPA, IEC, TIA, ISO).
  • Coordinate with utility providers (e.g., TNB or regional utilities) for grid interconnection, energization, and regulatory approvals.
  • Oversee HV/MV infrastructure delivery, protection coordination, and energization strategy.
  • Supervise Testing & Commissioning (Level 1–5) including IST, FMEA validation, black building tests, and reliability verification.
  • Review power system studies (short circuit, load flow, arc flash) and reliability analysis.
  • Oversee vendor, contractor, and consultant performance to meet technical specifications and project objectives.

         3. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Monitor CAPEX budgets, cost forecasts, and financial controls.
  Track procurement schedules and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Review progress payment certifications and contractor claims.
  • Ensure performance bond, insurance (CAR/EAR), and risk transfer compliance.
  • Participate in tender evaluations and contract award recommendations.

       4.Team Leadership & stakeholder management

• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams, contractors, consultants, and internal engineers.
  Act as primary interface between clients, suppliers, utility authorities, and internal teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and project staff, fostering knowledge transfer and operational excellence.
  • Ensure seamless communication and coordination across all stakeholders.
  • Support Director of Engineering in strategic planning and executive reporting.

         5. Compliance, quality & safety

• Enforce adherence to engineering standards, corporate governance, and safety regulations.
  Conduct QA/QC inspections to validate system installation and workmanship.
  • Support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives.
  • Ensure environmental permits and statutory compliance are maintained throughout project lifecycle.

      6.Operation and Handover

• Facilitate smooth transition to operations including as-built documentation, SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and asset registers.
  Ensure operational readiness, maintainability, and uptime SLA compliance.
  • Support training of O&M teams and post-handover stabilization.
  • Validate performance metrics including PUE, WUE, and system reliability KPIs.

Key Requirements

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Preferred: CDCP, PMP, ATD (Accredited Tier Designer)

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in data centre construction, commissioning, or hyperscale infrastructure projects.

Title: Regional Health & Safety Manager, Americas

The Regional Health & Safety Manager, Americas is accountable for Health & Safety performance across EdgeConneX’s Americas data center portfolio. This role owns the prevention of serious incidents, consistent application of standards, and closure of corrective actions across operational sites, offices, and construction handover into steady-state operations.

This role will include the prevention of serious incidents through high-risk activity management processes, emergency response planning, safety in datacenter operations, and construction/contractor safety. The role is responsible for monitoring risk, trending leading and lagging metrics, and developing reports used to drive accountability and corrective action. This role serves as the senior regional safety leader for the Americas, partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Security, Construction, and key customers. The position balances hands-on field engagement with regional program ownership, incident management, audits, metrics, and executive-level reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own and lead Health & Safety performance across the Americas portfolio.

Title: Indonesia Office Manager, Full Time

The Indonesia Office Manager will partner with the APAC Office Manager and Executive Assistant in managing Jakarta office including Data Center offices’ day-to-day administration and operations, providing support, and managing all office systems and services. This position develops and streamlines systems and processes, ensuring office efficiency and managing office policies and communications. The candidate must be a self-starter, strive for results, exercise good judgment, and have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and manage time, which is essential as you support this team. Critical Systems Engineer

EdgeConneX is in search for its next Critical Systems Engineer.  The Critical Systems Engineer is a member of the Operations Support team and provides Level 2 escalation support from our Critical Systems Coordinators. This role brings deep expertise in mission-critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure and supports the reliability, safety, and efficiency of EdgeConneX data centers. The CSE serves as a technical authority for the maintenance and operational oversight of critical systems, collaborating closely with critical systems teams, field operations, vendors, and corporate engineering teams to ensure reliability, safety, and consistency across data center operations. This position reports to the Critical Systems Manager and can be based in the cities listed in our posting.  This position will require up to 25% travel to support various maintenance initiatives and trainings.

The SME Mechanical will support and lead the local data center site team on advanced mechanical engineering duties within the JKT datacenter campus based in JKT Indonesia. This position reports to the Data Center Facility Manager and requires someone to be onsite daily.

Title: Data Center Campus Critical Systems Coordinator II

The Data Center Campus Critical Systems Coordinator II will support multiple data center site teams in support of daily duties across all facets of mission-critical operations. The role will support day-to-day scheduling, asset management, advanced reporting, and extensive documentation.  This position is based at our Cikarang data center site and reports to a Critical Systems Engineer who while primarily support the Cikarang campus.  There will be a limited amount (~10%) of travel to support various training and maintenance efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure forward progression of maintenance plans – monitors PM schedules and follows up to avoid delays.
• Expanded asset management: Upload and maintain assets in CMMS/Asset Manager to ensure inventories and work assignments are properly aligned.
• Data quality and reporting: Audit maintenance data for accuracy and generate quarterly maintenance status reports (e.g. upcoming PMs, backlogs) for management.
• Assemble MOP templates for preventive and corrective maintenance activities, assess life safety ratings and arc-flash requirements, handle more complex or multi-step maintenance procedure documentation.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong, and collaborative, with experience in data centre or high-availability projects, capable of supporting both design and operational readiness for projects in the APAC region.

The Mechanical Design Engineer, APAC will be responsible for the design, review, and coordination of mechanical, plumbing, and sanitary systems for data centres. The role ensures that all designs meet engineering standards, client requirements, regulatory codes, and operational reliability.

The incumbent will work closely with project managers, operations, and construction teams to support engineering excellence, constructability, and commissioning readiness, while ensuring integration with other disciplines and critical systems.

Title: Regional Manager, APAC Data Center Operations

The Regional Manager, APAC Data Center Operations will work directly with the Regional Directors to monitor, maintain and support EdgeConneX data centers throughout the APAC region. The Data Centre Design Engineering Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of data centre projects, including design review, construction, commissioning, and operational handover. This role ensures that all engineering, construction, and operational requirements are met on time, within budget, and according to quality and compliance standards.

The position involves close coordination with multi-disciplinary teams — mechanical electrical, plumbing (MEP), civil, electrical, IT infrastructure, security and operations — to deliver hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centres.

The Data Center Campus Critical Systems Coordinator II will support multiple data center site teams in support of daily duties across all facets of mission-critical operations. The role will support day-to-day scheduling, asset management, advanced reporting, and extensive documentation.  This position reports to the Critical Systems Manager who supports all of the Americas.  There will be a limited amount (~10%) of travel to support various training and maintenance efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure forward progression of maintenance plans – monitors PM schedules and follows up to avoid delays.
• Expanded asset management: Upload and maintain assets in CMMS/Asset Manager to ensure inventories and work assignments are properly aligned.

The Security Operations Manager, Americas West supports physical security operations across EdgeConneX data centers in North and South America. This role is responsible for contract guard performance, operational security standards, and driving issues through to closure in partnership with Operations, Facilities, IT, and customer security stakeholders.

This position reports to the Senior Security Operations Manager, Americas and supports security operations across the Americas portfolio. Based in Austin (hybrid). Up to 35% travel is required with oversight of contract security officers through vendor management and operational controls.

Role: Senior Content and Proposal Manager

The Senior Content and Proposal Manager will coordinate and manage EdgeConneX’s submissions in response to Customers’ Requests for Information/Requests for Quote/Requests for Proposals (RFI, RFQ, RFP, etc.), assembling and directing the work of a cross-functional team to combine the relevant service, product, and business knowledge required for EdgeConneX to win. Working directly with the Company’s senior leadership, this individual will be relied upon to deliver critical information and recommendations to support the  decision-making process of the firm. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for helping to maintain the accuracy and relevance of data within the Company’s content management software. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and processes. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure, and meet challenging deadlines. This person must possess advanced communication and presentation skills, and an ability to focus on details while also seeing the broader picture.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Senior Content and Proposal Manager has overall responsibility for the delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes.  As such, the Manager will (i) coordinate RFIs/RFPs through the project/content management software, (ii) create, design, and edit all finalized Proposal Responses and other Customer-facing documentation issued by EdgeConneX, including presentations in PowerPoint, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets, (ii)  communicate progress on Responses to management, and (iii) maintain the Company’s internally available content within the tool.

Title: Senior Data Center Facility Engineer (Cyberjaya, Malaysia)

In close consultation with Data Center management, the Senior Field Engineer will contribute to the maintenance of the technical installations and infrastructure on the Data Centers of EdgeConneX. This position will be based onsite in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, and report to the Data Center Facility Manager.

 Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of planned maintenance, that meets all EdgeConneX standards and procedures, by leveraging competent contractor/vendor resources with attention to quality.
• Plans and implements customer requested work in a timely manner. Ensures that the customer and company management are informed on the status and details of the work.
• During normal working hours, responds to alarms, critical situations, and emergencies in a proper and timely manner. Responsible for communicating in a calm and clear manner and in accordance with the emergency response plan.

Application Security Engineer

EdgeConneX is seeking a skilled and experienced Application Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands-on experience in application security, a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, strong knowledge of secure coding practices and relevant professional certifications. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our software applications throughout the development life cycle, working closely with developers, architects, and IT teams to identify, remediate, and prevent security vulnerabilities.  This position reports to our Global Head of Cybersecurity and is based in Herndon, VA and provides flexibility for a hybrid onsite work schedule.  There is a limited amount of travel needed for this position, but the flexibility to do so would be ideal.

Title: Network Administrator (Critical Infrastructure)

We are seeking a skilled and resilient Network Administrator to support EdgeConneX’ global enterprise infrastructure. This role is specifically designed for a networking professional who thrives in a mission-critical environment. You will be the primary point of contact for both local and remote sites' network health, focusing on our Cisco core, Building Management System (BMS) connectivity, and ensuring the absolute uptime required by our global customers.

The ideal candidate is not just a "Cisco expert" but someone who understands that in a data center, the network is the heartbeat of the facility. You must be comfortable troubleshooting complex issues under pressure in high-risk environments where downtime is not an option.

This position will report to EdgeConnex’ Sr. Director, Network Engineering and Systems and is based at our Dublin datacenter. This role follows a four-day-per-week onsite schedule. This position could also require as much as 10-20% within the EMEA region to support critical issues and new builds.

Primary Responsibilities

• Cisco Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain a robust network environment with a heavy focus on Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches.

The Senior Project Director oversees data center projects or programs at € 1-5 bln CaPex, with first tranche deliveries within 15 months after construction start. Role: Environmental Compliance Specialist, EMEA

Summary:

The EMEA Environmental Compliance Specialist (ECS) is responsible for owning operational environmental and regulatory compliance and permitting for EdgeConneX Data Centers in the EMEA region. This role provides hands-on compliance support for operating and expanding facilities, including the interpretation of EU environmental directives, national permitting regimes, and site-specific permit conditions. The ECS works closely with operations, engineering, construction, and external regulators to ensure environmental requirements are integrated into and adhered to in day-to-day operations and project execution. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in GRC or IT risk, a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, and professional certifications in GRC or cybersecurity. As a GRC Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization adheres to regulatory requirements, manage risks effectively, and maintain robust governance practices for industry standards, frameworks and international data protection law.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and analyze potential threats to the organization’s information systems and business operations.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., NIS2, DORA, ISO27001, AICPA Trust Principles, NIST, CIS, GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).
• Track changes to regional data protection law in the regions where EdgeConneX operates (APAC, EU, North America and South America)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization.
• Maintain risk registers, compliance metrics, and reporting dashboards
• Support third-party risk management and vendor security assessments
• Prepare and present regular reports on risk management activities, compliance status, and remediation efforts to management.
• Support internal and external audits, including gathering documentation and facilitating audit processes.
• Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Assist in the development and delivery of training programs related to governance, risk, and compliance topics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of GRC processes and tooling

Required education & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in governance, risk, and compliance or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, ISO27001LA or similar are required.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).
• Risk assessment methodologies and control testing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Experience with:
  • Policy development and lifecycle management
  • Third-party/vendor risk assessments
  • GRC tools and risk management platforms (e.g., DRATA, VANTA, Archer, OneTrust)
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proactive approach to identifying and managing risks.

Preferred experience:

• Experience with GRC software platforms and tools.
• Project management experience or certification.
• Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., datacenter, finance, technology).
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff.

Title: Lead Mechanical Operations Engineer - Atlanta, GA Campus

The Lead Mechanical Operations Engineer will support and lead the local data center site team on advanced mechanical engineering duties within the Atlanta datacenter campus. This position reports to the Site Chief Engineer and requires someone to be onsite daily.  There is a limited amount of travel (10%) associated with this role domestically. This position certainly has growth potential to management, but it does not have direct reports currently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of critical infrastructure and building mechanical systems.
• Operate critical infrastructure to include CRAH’s, CRAC’s, Chillers, Humidification Systems, De-humidification Systems, RTU’s, CDU’s, and Water Purification Systems.
• Issue identification and resolution through RCA and remediation processes.
• Coordination and oversite of maintenance and corrective activities.
• Coordination and oversite of customer requests.
• System analysis and reporting.
• Completion of self-performing PM/CM activities in accordance with ECX standards.
• Development and execution of MOP’s
• Supervise on-site subcontractors.
• Support the regional team as required in support of customer reporting and QBRs.
• Ensure consistent and accurate updates to tickets, WO’s, and associated communications.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Detailed knowledge of critical infrastructure - to include CRAH’s, CRAC’s, Chillers, Humidification Systems, De-humidification Systems, RTU’s, CDU’s, and Water Purification Systems.
• Ability to read and assess single line diagrams, technical manuals and engineering plans.
• Extensive experience carrying out MOP/EOP/SOP
• Strong communications, both written and verbal, coordinating with local and regional team.
• Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
• Ability to prioritize and manage a breadth of responsibilities.
• Ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from team.
• Strong and effective team player working with various disciplines and peer groups; can cover all gamut of tasks required to ‘getting a job done.’

Experience/Education

• 5+ years of experience managing data center mechanical infrastructure
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of service technicians focused in mechanical infrastructure, serving as an escalation point and mentor on the most difficult issues onsite
• Strong, demonstrated interest in data center technology with a passion for continued learning
• Strong knowledge and experience in supporting a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Any experience working in pre-deployment phases of a data center, i.e. pre-construction or construction environments would make a candidate stand out
• Candidates possessing direct experience in leading mechanical engineering efforts at a hyperscale data center facility are highly encouraged to apply

Travel

This position will be located at the Atlanta, Georgia EdgeConneX Data Center facility however, regular travel (approximately 10%) will be required to manage additional Data Centers within the Region as well as for annual and quarterly company meetings.
