This team spends most of its time working on customer focused features that improve the user experience, from content discovery and search to Roku pay and subscription to embedded software and firmware, and much more. Our new Senior Software Engineer, Embedded will be contributing extensively to our embedded UI development, algorithm implementation for complex features to make it more user intuitive and underlying architecture. You will be working closely with product management to understand new features or extending current features for international market needs, development using modern C++ libraries/frameworks, scripting language and integration of third-party code. This is a senior software engineering role where you will architect, design, implement and test the run-time and native renderer of Roku's software development kit. You will partner with engineers who build the higher level scripting parts of Roku’s SDK.
Roku prides itself in building software and features which run well on our oldest devices, while taking advantage of our latest ones. To this end, the software development kit will need to be designed and implemented from the get go to run well on devices with extremely limited system resources like RAM, Flash and CPU.
Architect, design, implement and test the run-time and native renderer of Roku's software development kit.
Partner with engineers who build the higher level scripting parts of Roku’s software development kit.
Ensure that we can stand behind all APIs exposed by Roku’s software development kit, and manage the evolution of these APIs.
Ensure that the native development kit performs well on low-cost hardware. To this end you will design for and track RAM consumption, rendering frame rate, etc.
Develop tooling which will allow Roku and 3rd party developers to build great optimized and performant applications to run on the Roku platform.
Navigate through ambiguous problem spaces and meticulously distill out design choices, trade-offs, and priorities.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in embedded C/C++ development and toolchain.
Extensive experience with software development on embedded Linux
Experience with multi-process architectures and IPC mechanisms.
Experience with UI/app frameworks from iOS or Android is a plus.
Excellent software design and architecture skills.
Ability to see the big picture while focused on short-term objectives and deliverables.
Ability to multi-task and drive parallel projects and distributed teams with tight deadlines.

As the Senior Manager, Portfolio Management: SeatGeekIQ, you’ll play a critical role in helping expand our platform of pricing, trading, and investments offerings into the EMEA region. The Company is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter who is looking for a challenging career with a fast-growing company in the specialty pharmacy management services. We are seeking experienced pharmacy technicians who are registered with the State of employment. Nationally certified as a CPhT is preferred but not required. Critical to this position is a person who is able to work independently and establish strong and credible relationships with patients, clinicians and internal Shields staff. Applicants should be results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high patient quality and service. Detail orientation and strong administrative/organization skills are required. Mature, approachable, professional, and comfortable in dealing with others both in-person and on the phone. Applicant must be reliable, tolerant, and determined; an empathetic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. Most importantly, person must be able to work as a member of a close-knit team.
Provides integrated support to patients and pharmacists by providing a 'hands-on" approach to total quality patient care. Works closely with patients to deliver a full continuum of medication adherence support by utilizing our various tools and applications. Encourages patients of specialty clinics to utilize pharmacy to fully benefit from its superior patient care services. Given that the Pharmacy Liaison will be located in one of the medical center clinics, seamlessly integrating with the clinic team (doctors, nurses, staff, etc.) is critical to the liaison's success.
