Position Summary

The Program Manager owns the Innovation Portfolio, a set of concurrent strategic initiatives spanning Innovation, AI, automation, etc.  This role ensures the portfolio is governed rigorously, dependencies are managed proactively, and progress is communicated clearly to senior stakeholders. This is not a coordination role; it requires independent judgment, executive presence, and the ability to drive outcomes across ambiguous, fast-moving programs. What you’ll do

• Work cross-functionally to map customer experiences, flag emotional states and pain points, identify critical interdependencies and systems, and define key metrics across all journey stages.
• Coordinate and facilitate workshops in support of customer journey governance and operating mechanisms.
• Test and validate Scout’s approach to the customer journey. Align stakeholders and implement changes as needed.
• Develop business cases as needed in support of various customer journey efforts.
• Maintain and manage Scout’s end-to-end, cross-functional customer journey maps and materials. Standardize customer facing nomenclature.
• Collaborate with the Customer Journey Manager and Commercial Operations leaders in developing, refining, and deploying the core end-to-end Scout Customer Journey.
• Work with the Customer Journey Manager and Commercial Operations leaders in designing and mapping alternative/specialized customer journeys (e.g., the Scout VIP experience)
• Support the development of communication assets – slides, one-pagers, and visual summaries highlighting the customer journey
• Travel to various Scout events and locations to better understand what our customers expect in terms of in-store, digital, and vehicle experiences.

We're hiring a Principal, Public Sector Compliance Program Manager to own and drive Tines' federal and public sector compliance program. Reporting to the Director of GRC, this is a senior individual contributor role for someone who brings structure, momentum, and sound judgment to complex, cross-functional initiatives.

You’ll own the program that drives Tines’ readiness across U.S. federal, Department of Defense, and SLED (State, Local, and Education) environments. That includes a wide range of requirements such as FedRAMP, CMMC, IL5 and related DoD requirements, NIST-based frameworks including NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171, FISMA-related expectations, CJIS, stateRAMP, and other agency-, customer-, and procurement-driven security and compliance obligations.

This role requires a broad, strategic view of public sector compliance and the ability to connect the dots across legal commitments, customer expectations, product and architecture decisions, security requirements, and go-to-market priorities.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Security, GRC, Engineering, Product, IT, and Tines’ public sector legal team, which supports the program on contractual issues, customer commitments, regulatory interpretation, and other legal considerations tied to public sector work.

This role will operate at the program level, setting the roadmap, building the governance model, driving alignment across teams, managing risk and dependencies, and helping Tines execute in a scalable and sustainable way.

This role is remote and based in the United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. Work must be performed from within the United States in accordance with customer and contractual requirements

What you will be doing:

• Own and drive Tines’ federal and public sector compliance program across U.S. federal, DoD, and SLED environments.
• Define and execute the program roadmap, governance model, and operating cadence, including aligning stakeholders, and driving progress against key milestones.
• Translate regulatory, security, contractual, and customer requirements into clear, executable workstreams across Security, GRC, Engineering, Product, IT, Legal, Sales, and partner teams.
• Partner with Security and Engineering to align compliance requirements with system architecture, environment design, control implementation, boundary definition, inheritance models, and shared responsibility structures
• Serve as a strategic partner to Legal, Sales, Security, and GRC, helping navigate complex compliance scenarios and ensuring alignment between technical implementation, contractual commitments, and go-to-market strategy
• Identify and actively manage program-level risks, gaps, dependencies, and tradeoffs, escalating with clear, actionable recommendations
• Bring working knowledge of the broader public sector ecosystem, including DFARS, GSA schedules, agency-specific requirements, and flowdown obligations, and help connect those requirements to compliance, product, and commercial decisions
• Stay current on evolving federal and public sector regulatory, security, and procurement requirements, and translate new developments into actionable guidance for internal teams
• Partner closely with Tines’ public sector legal team, which provides subject matter expertise on legal interpretation, contractual commitments, procurement requirements, and regulatory positioning, while you ensure those considerations are incorporated into program execution

What you bring with you:

• Deep, hands-on experience operating federal and public sector compliance programs, scaling, or maturing programs across multiple frameworks
• Strong experience across FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, CMMC, DoD Impact Levels (IL4/IL5), FISMA, CJIS, and stateRAMP, with a clear understanding of how these frameworks are applied in practice

This person will be the quality representative for CAT 1, 2, and 3 projects, as assigned, and responsible for the creation pHACCP and rMMS (Quality monitoring piece) for new products/technology development in order to ensure full compliance to quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Member of the Internal Audit Team, responsible for auditing processes and areas according to the Internal Audit Plan.

• Support visits from regulatory bodies, such as FDA or USDA, and external certification bodies.

The role

This is not a typical project management role. As Project Manager for People Operations Intake & Portfolio, you will own the systems, processes, and judgment layer that determines what the Partners, Operations & Insights (POI) organization works on — and in what order. You will be the connective tissue between the People team's ambitions and POI's capacity, serving as the first point of contact for all work requests flowing into POI's four core teams: People Solutions, People Data Analytics & Research (PDAR), People Partners, and Employee Relations & HR Compliance.

You will build and run Stripe's POI intake and prioritization process end-to-end — from designing the intake experience for requestors, to triaging and evaluating incoming Jira tickets, to facilitating prioritization conversations with POI and People team leaders. As this function matures, you will expand into a broader portfolio intelligence role: the key strategic partner to all People team requestors, ensuring that the organization's most limited resource — team capacity — is always directed at the highest-priority work.

Critically, you will also build an AI agent to power and scale this work. You will design, iterate on, and deploy an intelligent intake assistant that helps with automated scoping, duplicate request detection, time commitment estimation, resourcing recommendations, and prioritization guidance — upleveling the quality of every intake interaction across the org.

What you'll do

• Own and operate the POI intake process end-to-end. Manage the Jira-based intake system, ensuring all incoming requests are triaged promptly, routed correctly, and tracked through their full lifecycle from submission to delivery.
• Serve as the primary intake partner for People team requestors. Act as a knowledgeable, approachable first point of contact who helps teams scope and frame requests well, setting clear expectations on timelines, effort, and likelihood of prioritization.
• Facilitate regular intake and portfolio cadences. Set cadence for POI Intake reviews, backlog grooming, and  full roadmap reviews.
• Identify systemic patterns and surface insights to leadership. Synthesize trends across intake submissions to proactively flag capacity constraints, recurring themes, capability gaps, and emerging risks before they become blockers..
• Apply strategic judgment to prioritize the POI portfolio. Evaluate incoming tickets against People team SOKRs, the 3-Year Plan (3YP), and establish prioritization frameworks.
• Build and maintain portfolio visibility and capacity reporting. Develop dashboards and reporting that give POI leadership and People team stakeholders real-time insight into resource allocation, queue depth, and roadmap health. Participate in quarterly business reviews and annual planning cycles.
• Design, build, and continuously improve an AI agent for intake. Create an intelligent agent that automates and enhances the intake experience, that ultimately can be deployed to reduce time-to-decision and improve requestor experience at scale.

Stripe provides regulated payments and financial services products, and also has a number of regulated subsidiaries, including in the United States (Money Transmitter and lending licenses). • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. An advanced degree or hands-on laboratory experience is a plus.

What you’ll do:

• Use GenAI as the default operating model for EP PgM execution—producing AI-assisted first drafts of core program artifacts, modernizing high-toil workflows into AI-first mechanisms (e.g., intake triage, status synthesis, action/decision extraction, risk & dependency tracking), and synthesizing signals to proactively surface risks, decision/trade-offs, and escalation paths.
