Position Summary
The Program Manager owns the Innovation Portfolio, a set of concurrent strategic initiatives spanning Innovation, AI, automation, etc. This role ensures the portfolio is governed rigorously, dependencies are managed proactively, and progress is communicated clearly to senior stakeholders. This is not a coordination role; it requires independent judgment, executive presence, and the ability to drive outcomes across ambiguous, fast-moving programs. The role is on Contract (FTC) for first six months and extendable basis the performance of the individual.
Key Areas of Focus for this Role
Portfolio Governance –
Own and maintain the Ensono Innovation Portfolio - managing intake, prioritization, funding decisions, and retirement of initiatives
Establish and enforce governance frameworks: stage gates, decision rights, portfolio health dashboards
Facilitate the Program Governance Group - prepare materials, track actions, drive resolution
Maintain a single source of truth for all active initiatives: scope, status, risks, owners, and outcomes
Program Orchestration –
Manage interdependencies across initiatives - identifying conflicts and sequencing work to maximize delivery throughput
Define and embed consistent program management standards, templates, and tooling across the portfolio
Work with Project Managers and workstream leads to resolve blockers, re-plan when required, and maintain momentum
Own RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) at portfolio level
Build a Benefits Realization Plan: Create a benefits map linking AI capabilities → process changes → business outcomes, assign benefit owners.
Define: KPIs and measurement approach: Realization timelines (short-, mid-, long-term), Benefits (Tangible vs. nontangible), etc.
Reporting & Communication –
o Design and deliver the set frequency Innovation Portfolio Reports - progress, financials, risks, and highlights
o Produce exec-ready decks, board packs, and briefings related to innovation performance
o Create narrative-driven reporting that connects initiative outputs to strategic priorities
Stakeholder Management –
o Serve as the primary interface between the Innovation Portfolio and business unit heads, finance, CPE, and technology leadership
o Build trust across senior stakeholders - capable of challenging timelines, managing expectations, and influencing without authority
o Coordinate with global Ensono counterparts on cross-geography initiatives
Preferred Background
• Prior experience in a PMO or Portfolio Office within an IT services or consulting firm (not just project delivery)
• Has worked in a matrixed, multi-geography environment
• Comfortable with ambiguity, this is a new function being built, not a steady-state role
Other Qualifications/ Experience Required
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / business administration, or related field
• Proven 12 plus years of experience in innovation programs / portfolio management, ideally in IT services, consulting, or technology firms
Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of 20+ concurrent initiatives with cross-functional teams
Strong governance background, not just tracking but building and enforcing governance models
Advanced stakeholder management, comfortable presenting to executive leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication can translate complexity into clear narratives
Proficient in portfolio tools (Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent)
PgMP, PMP, or Prince2 Practitioner preferred
Agile / Scrum / SAFe certifications
Exposure to AI, digital transformation programs is a must
Should have advanced Office 365 tool skills

This work will include development of artifacts to support relevant Authority to Operate (ATO) processes for operating software in classified systems for the Pulse Suite.

You’ll own the end-to-end process for getting our software authorized for deployment onto DoD and IC systems, and then manage continuous and ongoing certification, accreditation, risk assessment, and security requirements. You’ll be the expert in the certification and continuous authorization process, ensure compliance with government requirements and policies, apply DevSecOps, coordinate security requirements with the product and engineering teams, and create artifacts supporting a secure software development life cycle.
This is a hybrid position with flexibility to manage your day around collaboration with your team. Arlington or Herndon location is required for easy access to secure spaces to address classified security requirements. THE ROLE….

We're hiring a Principal, Public Sector Compliance Program Manager to own and drive Tines' federal and public sector compliance program. Reporting to the Director of GRC, this is a senior individual contributor role for someone who brings structure, momentum, and sound judgment to complex, cross-functional initiatives.
You’ll own the program that drives Tines’ readiness across U.S. federal, Department of Defense, and SLED (State, Local, and Education) environments. That includes a wide range of requirements such as FedRAMP, CMMC, IL5 and related DoD requirements, NIST-based frameworks including NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171, FISMA-related expectations, CJIS, stateRAMP, and other agency-, customer-, and procurement-driven security and compliance obligations.
This role requires a broad, strategic view of public sector compliance and the ability to connect the dots across legal commitments, customer expectations, product and architecture decisions, security requirements, and go-to-market priorities.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Security, GRC, Engineering, Product, IT, and Tines’ public sector legal team, which supports the program on contractual issues, customer commitments, regulatory interpretation, and other legal considerations tied to public sector work.

Base Pay Range. The Team
Pinterest is transforming software engineering for the AI-native era. We’re evolving how engineers build, review, validate, deploy, and operate software by combining best-in-class AI tooling with strong technical standards and scalable operating mechanisms. Our AI Native Software Engineering effort is focused first on making software engineering across Pinterest’s mono-repos, AI native while accelerating existing productivity investments.
