Senior Software Engineer - Full-Stack

You’ll join the team primarily responsible for Pages and Apps, where you’ll build complete product features as well as tooling and libraries to enable other engineers to ship faster, higher quality software. However, we’re still a small but growing software engineering organization, so this role is not strictly limited to any single part of our product or stack.

This role is about more than writing code: you'll have an influential voice in shaping our technical direction, our product, and our culture. Location:

You can work fully remotely from anywhere in EST (those based in the Greater Boston area can make use of our Tines office space in downtown Boston to meet up with other locally-based members of our engineering team when you wish).

In this role, you’ll:

• Work closely with colleagues to build the right solutions to the problems our customers face.
• Make valuable changes in our codebase in your first week, and see them live in production minutes after merging them.
• Write and review high quality, well tested code to ensure that we’re creating a stable product for our customers, and a stress-free codebase for ourselves.
• Identify areas for improvement, both in our codebase and in how we work, and share the responsibility of making our team better.
• Own the problems you’re solving - and the software you write to solve them - all the way to production and beyond, responding to customer feedback to improve those solutions.
• Shape and evolve our design system, focusing on building high-quality components that are robust, performant, and reliable, with an emphasis on thoughtful design and architecture.

At higher levels of this role, you will also:

• Mentor other engineers in our team, providing support and guidance to help them grow their abilities.
• Help prioritise our roadmap, identifying how we can use our time pragmatically and effectively.

Projects you might work on:

• Collaborating with our Product and Design teams to build out entire product features, like apps and page collections from early tech plans to final UI fixes.
• Working on Tines navigation and overall user experience.
• Owning areas in our design system and working closely with our designers to create a high quality component library for all teams to use.
• Improving AI tools that help engineers work more effectively with our design system.
• Creating a Tines story to automate tracking of design system changes in Figma.
• Writing a blog post to share something interesting we learned with the community.

Is this role right for you?

• You’ll need to be capable with a high-level programming language. Our interview process includes building a small command-line program that makes decisions based on some JSON input, so you should feel very comfortable working at that level of technical complexity. Our main languages are Ruby and TypeScript, but you don’t have to be familiar with those - we value curiosity and an eagerness to learn over existing experience. We’ll also cover the cost of education material to bring you up to speed.
• Your abilities matter, not your education or experience. We don’t require any specific degree or previous work experience. We just need you to show us that you have the skills needed to succeed.
• Cybersecurity knowledge isn’t required. We take application security seriously, but for this role you don’t need any specific knowledge or experience.
• This role is broad, not specialised. In addition to our frontend stack, you’ll work across our backend and infrastructure. You don’t need to have expertise in all of these areas (no one on the team does), but you will need to be comfortable pitching in anywhere when needed, with the support of your teammates. This allows us to be more effective as a team, and provides a lot of opportunities for you to learn.
• We’re focused on the most important problems, not the most interesting ones. Your time and energy are limited, so in order to succeed you’ll need to spend it where it will make a difference. We view technologies as a means to an end, and stick to simple, common tools - Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript, Postgres, Redis and Docker.

We’re looking for a Demand Generation Manager who understands how to reach IT practitioners and leaders, from service desk teams and IT operators to CIOs and VPs of IT, and can design campaigns that turn interest into qualified pipeline.

Reporting to the Manager of Demand Generation, you’ll play a critical role in building and scaling demand programs that reach the IT community, generate high-quality pipeline, and expand Tines’ footprint in this rapidly growing segment.

We’re looking for someone who combines creativity with analytical rigor—a demand generation expert who knows how to design impactful campaigns, measure performance, and continuously optimize for results. The ideal candidate understands how IT teams discover, evaluate, and adopt new tools and can design programs that resonate with both practitioners and senior IT leaders.

The IT segment represents a major growth opportunity for Tines. In this role, you’ll work closely with marketing, product marketing, and business development teams to develop high-impact programs that expand our reach and accelerate growth within the IT market.

Candidates should be based in the US in ET or CT timezones, as this role will require heavy collaboration with colleagues based in Ireland.

What You’ll Do

You will own and execute digital-first demand generation programs designed to engage IT professionals and generate measurable pipeline and revenue impact.

• Plan and execute integrated demand generation campaigns targeting IT practitioners and decision-makers, including CIOs, VPs of IT, and IT operations leaders
• Build programs across both thought leadership and technical content, including practitioner-focused webinars, technical guides, and community-driven content that resonates with IT Ops teams
• Drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline through channels including paid media, content promotion, sponsored newsletters, influencers, and webinars
• Manage campaign budgets across paid channels and partners, optimizing spend to maximize pipeline and return on investment
• Partner with product marketing, content, and brand teams to develop messaging, campaigns, and assets tailored to the IT audience
• Collaborate with publishers, communities, and industry partners to amplify campaigns and expand reach within the IT ecosystem
• Work closely with the XDR team to ensure strong follow-up on campaign engagement and effective conversion into qualified meetings and pipeline
• Identify and test new channels, partners, and campaign formats to uncover scalable opportunities for pipeline growth
• Support email marketing, nurture programs, and database activation to move prospects through the funnel
• Partner with partner marketing to develop co-marketing campaigns and demand generation programs with strategic IT partners
• Measure campaign performance and pipeline contribution, using data and experimentation to continuously improve results

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or growth marketing in B2B SaaS
• Demonstrated success marketing to technical audiences in IT, Security, or DevOps etc.
• Proven experience running digital demand generation campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue
• Experience working with paid media, content promotion, sponsored newsletters, and digital advertising
• Experience building and running webinar or virtual event programs
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to guide campaign decisions and optimization
• Experience working cross-functionally with product marketing, content, creative, and partner marketing teams
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and partners simultaneously
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with developer or technical practitioner marketing is a plus
• Experience working in high-growth SaaS environments

OTE - $165-$175 OTE (base + 10% bonus) + equity
