About the team

Reporting to the JAPAC Head of Professional Services, this is a high-visibility role that provides the development of the overall professional services plan and setting the strategic direction, performance standards, with a focus on customer success for the professional services team. You will define, develop, and manage all strategic service offerings and outcomes to drive and support the end-to-end customer experience in close coordination with the professional services teams in other regions.
This role requires deep knowledge and experience in building and growing a regional Professional Services organization, including building out service offerings, recruiting and developing top talent, delivering high quality services to achieve customer outcomes, driving negotiating agreements, and partnering with product engineering on customer needs and priorities.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.
This individual will also have strong leadership experience in building high-performing teams as well as have a deep understanding of what will be needed to properly resource a Professional Services strategy in SEA/GCN, working with stakeholders to develop a plan for ensuring the success and high quality of our service delivery. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and entrepreneurship is a must. An understanding of the economics of the payments space and the e-commerce ecosystem would be a bonus.

The Local Payment Methods team is building the platform & enabling payment methods that connect to millions of Stripe users globally. We're responsible for building new product experiences that help providers to improve their integration, boost their conversion, and grow their business. We also own the end-to-end journey for users adopting new payment methods.
As a TPM, you will play a key role leading complex programs across multiple engineering, product and cross-functional (finance, legal, compliance, risk, and other) teams spanning Stripe. You will be an active contributor to the overall strategy of the program, drive technical decision making, and drive the execution of the program through all phases from planning to delivery.
