About the team

The Product Design team is made up of several groups that define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of Stripe’s brand and product. The Terminal design team crafts product experiences that empower users to configure and manage in person payments. This team transforms the intricate world of payments into intuitive solutions, letting users focus on growing their businesses. The team spans hardware and software, focusing on many types of users: end users who pay at the point of sale, cashiers and operations managers who set up and run the devices, and merchants who manage a fleet of devices and need to monitor performance.

What you’ll do

As a product designer, you’ll work closely with the product manager and engineering team to envision payments features in the Stripe Dashboard and our end user-facing surfaces and partner with go-to-market teams to bring them to users. That includes new feature development, product quality improvements to our most frequently used workflows, and setting vision for our products to meet new user expectations in an increasingly data and AI-driven world.

Responsibilities

• Understand user workflows and pain points, and produce, test and iterate on high quality designs to solve user needs

What you’ll do

As a product designer, you’ll work closely with product managers and engineering teams to envision features in the Stripe Dashboard and checkout surfaces and partner with go-to-market teams to bring them to users. That includes new feature development, localization for priority geographies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and setting vision for our products to meet new user expectations in an increasingly globally connected and AI driven world.

Agentic commerce has the potential to be generationally impactful, which is why Stripe has assembled a dedicated team to explore and build the tools, products, and capabilities to accelerate the pace of change and help define what this future should look like. We’ve already developed the Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) alongside OpenAI, we’ve introduced Shared Payment Tokens, a new payment primitive that lets agents initiate transactions, and we’ve launched and Agentic Commerce Suite, which provides tooling for businesses to sell across multiple AI interfaces. There’s no forecasting exactly where agentic commerce will be by the end of 2026, so this solid foundation is just the start.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead design for Agentic Commerce. You’ll work alongside a small group of Product Managers and Engineers to shape our strategy and build a variety of transformative products—for merchants, agents, and for consumers. You’ll reimagine the consumer checkout experience with agentic commerce capabilities in mind. You’ll explore how those capabilities can be embedded across a variety of surfaces, from conversational LLMs to merchant apps to our own Link product. You’ll build the tools necessary for merchants of all sizes to integrate and manage their products across those surfaces. What you’ll do

As part of the Money Management Design team, you will lead the design efforts for our global-by-default money management suite. We are building the rails for the next generation of commerce, where stablecoins move at the speed of the internet. As a Product Designer for the Crypto team, you will be responsible for designing the critical infrastructure that allows users to move from traditional fiat into the digital asset economy. You will own the design of a product that requires a deep focus on conversion and trust.

Your work will range from designing Stripe-hosted standalone experiences to Embedded Components that live natively within decentralized apps, wallets, and NFT marketplaces. You will craft the logic that abstracts away the friction of KYC, fraud detection, and multi-chain settlement into a seamless one-click checkout. You’ll utilize a broad set of product design skills, from high-fidelity UI design to complex system mapping, to ensure that while the backend infrastructure (smart contracts, multi-chain settlement) is complex, the user experience remains as simple and reliable as traditional Stripe payments.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery through delivery.
• Design seamless on-ramp and off-ramp experiences that allow businesses to move between fiat (ACH, SEPA) and stablecoin rails (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Base).
• Lead the design for our Native Mobile SDKs. You will ensure that onramping feels like a first-class feature within a third-party app, rather than a jarring external redirect.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to shape the team’s roadmap and goals from an impactful and measurable customer outcomes perspective. Leverage insights from our UXR team to identify opportunity areas, and to validate potential solutions to pain points. 
• Partner with content design to craft compelling experiences that deliver the right information at the right time to the right user.
• Deliver from your strengths — whether that’s workshops, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, final comps and specs, or code—and have the opportunity to sharpen the skills you’re looking to develop.
• Work closely with other product designers to drive holistic solutions for our merchants and their users.

• Reimagine pricing packages for Stripe to simplify and streamline our product offerings for users. You'll be pivotal in evolving how these appear across our funnel to users within the dashboard and think about new patterns for easier activation.
• Help us design beautiful experiences that bridge our marketing and dashboard products, creating a coherent transition for users signing up to Stripe and activating for the first time.

What you’ll do

As part of the Money Management Design team, you will lead the design efforts for our global-by-default money management suite. We are building the rails for the next generation of commerce, where stablecoins move at the speed of the internet. Through Stablecoin Financial Accounts, we enable businesses to hold dollar-denominated balances, settle cross-border transactions instantly, and bridge the gap between traditional fiat and blockchain networks like Tempo.

You will create intuitive interfaces for businesses to manage their digital currencies while orchestrating complex cross-border flows. You’ll utilize a broad set of product design skills, from high-fidelity UI design to complex system mapping, to ensure that while the backend infrastructure (smart contracts, multi-chain settlement) is complex, the user experience remains as simple and reliable as traditional Stripe payments.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery through delivery.
• Design seamless on-ramp and off-ramp experiences that allow businesses to move between fiat (ACH, SEPA) and stablecoin rails (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Base).
• Build the workflows for businesses to launch their own coins, manage reserve ratios, and track real-time liquidity and rewards.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to shape the team’s roadmap and goals from an impactful and measurable customer outcomes perspective. Leverage insights from our UXR team to identify opportunity areas, and to validate potential solutions to pain points. 
• Partner with content design to craft compelling experiences that deliver the right information at the right time to the right user.
• Deliver from your strengths — whether that’s workshops, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, final comps and specs, or code—and have the opportunity to sharpen the skills you’re looking to develop.
• Work closely with other product designers to drive holistic solutions for our merchants and their users.
• Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the design and company leadership.

Minimum requirements

• Have 6+ years relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company
• Experience working with, and leading changes to, an established design system
• Experience collaborating with engineering to support UI development
• Have worked autonomously on large-scale initiatives like system unification efforts or highly visible features
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, operating as a co-lead with product management and engineering decision makers
• Strong skills in visual design, interaction design, prototyping
• Comfortable working on multiple projects operating at different paces
• Use tools such as prototypes, journey maps, and UX flows to articulate progress, rationale, and decisions
• Able to manage and prioritize time

Preferred qualifications

• A deep understanding of Web3 primitives (wallets, smart contracts, gas fees, and L1/L2 networks) and how to abstract them for non-technical users.
• Experience designing for treasury management, B2B payments, or cross-border financial systems.
• Are skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and crave feedback to help you produce your best work

The Product Design team is composed of several teams that work together to help define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of the Stripe brand and product. You will lead efforts in creating intuitive interfaces and workflows for businesses to create, customize, and manage spend and credit cards. You will have an opportunity to explore emerging trends like virtual cards, real-time controls, and embedded finance, while designing rigorous solutions for our users. You’ll partner with product and engineering to craft high quality experiences for merchants in the Stripe dashboard and for their customers, contractors, and vendors who interact with Stripe.

You’ll utilize a broad set of product design skills including user interface design, user experience/interaction design, and prototyping. In this role, you will be responsible for deeply understanding our users and product strategy to design and advocate for the highest quality product experience.
