About the Role
As a Senior Technical Artist at Fortis Games, your mission is to bridge the gap between art and technology by developing efficient tools, optimizing asset pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration between art and engineering. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining rigging systems, shader workflows, and automation tools, helping the art team create high-quality visuals while keeping performance in check. This role allows you to work across multiple projects, collaborating with designers, engineers, and other artists to ensure technical excellence and consistency across all game assets.

About the Role:
As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you'll demonstrate the value of Planet's data and services to help organizations within the Western and Northern European regions overcome their earth data challenges. You'll also collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Product Management, and Business Development, to act as the voice of the customer to enhance Planet's industry offerings.
The ideal candidate is passionate about Earth observation and enjoys helping customers get most out of their work. This role will appeal to candidates who don’t mind frequent international travel (primarily around Europe) and are comfortable working in the defense and intelligence sector.
This is a full-time, remote position based in France or the United Kingdom. This role requires frequent international travel up to 50%. If located near an office, you are expected to work from that office 3 days per week.

What You’ll Do
The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering organisation is responsible for the technical sale of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design and efficient adoption roadmaps for our customers. Solution Engineering is made up of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds - from Financial Consulting to Product Management, Customer Support to Software Engineering, and we are serious about building a diverse, curious and collaborative team.
As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical customer advocate within Cloudflare. You will aid your customers and will work closely with every team at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product to Engineering and Customer Support to do so. As part of the Data Infrastructure team you will be supporting mission critical big data platforms, to ensure they are fully performant, reliable, available and secure. We call it data infrastructure engineering, also known as DataOps or Database Administration or SRE.
The role is a mixture of development of tooling and operational support for our platforms, two aspects that go hand-in-hand. It requires attention to detail and curiousity about how the systems work under the hood, and gives you a wide base of skills from low level system tuning to general coding.
We manage four main storage platforms, namely:
These platforms are all open source, written in Java, Scala or C, and we maintain in-house builds and patching of them. We use a variety of open-source and in-house developed tooling to manage these services, mostly written in Rust and Python, which run primarily on hundreds of servers in multiple data centres and in the cloud.
We maintain a balance between project work and operational/ad-hoc work for all members in the team, whether they are senior or recent graduates, and your day-to-day work will be a mix of these.
The exact project work will depend on your experience, but we will scope it out collectively to ensure it is both achievable and delivers benefit. Some example projects given to recent graduates are:
If you're joining the team as a graduate engineer we'll be focusing on developing your knowledge of the storage platforms, how to program against them and how to troubleshoot issues. The aim is that you'd be able to help with the staging support by 3-6 months, and join the rest of the team supporting the production systems in 12 months. You'll also be expected to take a full part in the life of the team and, as your experience grows, start designing the infrastructure we run.
This role is based in Brighton, UK, but working remotely will be possible once the initial 6-12 months of training is complete.

We’re looking for an experienced security engineer who’s independent, excited about getting things done, and ready to hit the ground running. You'll primarily be responsible for our application security, working with our product teams to work on new systems to enhance our security posture. Our customers trust us with their money, and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure we retain that trust!
This broadly scoped role will allow you to get your hands on many different types of security projects, from direct application security to helping our infrastructure team think about security for our databases.
Some experience with common industry certifications like ISO-27001 and PCI-DSS would be beneficial, although you won’t be expected to run or oversee audits.

We care about the big picture. We don’t hire engineers to just ship tickets. We hire them to solve problems. That means caring deeply about outcomes, understanding context, and jumping in wherever something’s broken, even if it’s technically “not your area.” When we see problems, inefficiencies, or opportunities to make something better, we act. We dig into operational issues, clarify fuzzy product specs, or step into unfamiliar code to help unblock teammates.
We move as fast as possible. Speed matters. It lets us try things quickly, get feedback early, and course-correct while it’s cheap. So we write small PRs. We aim for MVPs. We leave TODOs and file follow-ups. We don’t over-perfect v1. That said, we’re building a financial product. Some things—like money movement, correctness, or security—deserve more caution.
We like boring technology. We favor tools that are reliable, well-understood, and easy to debug. This keeps us focused on solving meaningful problems instead of wrestling with unpredictable infrastructure. If a new technology helps us move faster, build safer, or solve a real need, we’ll consider it. But we don’t adopt tools just because they’re new—we adopt them because they’re right.
Simplicity is a strategy. It lets us focus our energy where it matters most: serving our users.

Move those three numbers in the right direction, and two things happen: customers get faster, cheaper inference, and our margins improve. That's the entire thesis of this role. Every kernel you tune, every quantization scheme you ship, every scheduler tweak you land shows up directly in a customer's p99 and on our P&L.
This is a high-impact seat. It is also a high-autonomy seat as you'll be given the room to lead the technical direction of inference optimization at Kimchi, not execute someone else's roadmap.
The problem: running LLMs in production is a moving target. The "right" model and serving configuration for a workload depend on traffic shape, sequence-length distribution, batch dynamics, GPU SKU, memory bandwidth, quantization tolerance, and a dozen other variables that shift week to week. Most teams pick a model once, over-provision GPUs, and absorb the cost. Kimchi is the system that makes that decision automatically - continuously matching workloads to the most cost-efficient, best-performing LLM and serving configuration on a customer's infrastructure. We're building the optimization layer between the model and the hardware, and we need engineers who understand both sides deeply.

The Data Support Developer is responsible for the day-to-day data support of the Sky Road Product Suite. We are looking for an independent, dedicated Machine Learning Engineer/Senior ML Engineer to join the Visual Computing Group (VCG) and contribute to redefining the world of game play and live streaming via advanced R&D. VCG’s mission is to design and deploy advanced neural networks and machine learning (ML) for game rendering and streaming systems of SIE that exceed the state-of-the-art in runtime efficiency, visual quality and latency.
(i) neural network architectures, evidenced (for example) by knowledge of how to formulate and test advanced loss functions in neural network design;
(ii) design and test of advanced convolutional, recurrent, transformer-based, diffusion-based or other neural network architectures in a task-specific manner;
(iii) some experience in training, validation and evaluation of deep neural network models on large datasets, evidenced by experience in using Python libraries like HDF5 or similar
