Cast AI is an automation platform that operates cloud-native and AI infrastructure at scale. By embedding autonomous decision-making directly into Kubernetes and cloud environments, Cast AI continuously optimizes performance, reliability, and efficiency in production. The old way doesn't work. As Kubernetes and AI environments grow, manual decisions don’t. Cast AI replaces tickets, alerts, and manual tuning with continuous automation that adapts infrastructure as conditions change. Efficiency and cost savings follow naturally from that automation. Over 2,100 companies already rely on Cast AI, including Akamai, BMW, Cisco, FICO, HuggingFace, NielsenIQ, Swisscom, and TGS.
Global team, diverse perspectives
We're headquartered in Miami, but our impact is international. We take a global and intentional approach to diversity. Today, Cast AI operates across 34 countries spanning Europe, North America, Latin America, and APAC, bringing a wide range of perspectives into how we build and lead.
Unicorn momentum
In January 2026, we achieved unicorn status with a strategic investment from Pacific Alliance Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Shinsegae Group (a $50+ billion Korean conglomerate). Our valuation now exceeds $1 billion, and we're just getting started.
Join us as we build the future of autonomous infrastructure.
About the role
Throughput. Latency. KV cache utilization.
Move those three numbers in the right direction, and two things happen: customers get faster, cheaper inference, and our margins improve. That's the entire thesis of this role. Every kernel you tune, every quantization scheme you ship, every scheduler tweak you land shows up directly in a customer's p99 and on our P&L. This is a high-impact seat. It is also a high-autonomy seat as you'll be given the room to lead the technical direction of inference optimization at Kimchi, not execute someone else's roadmap.
The problem: running LLMs in production is a moving target. The "right" model and serving configuration for a workload depend on traffic shape, sequence-length distribution, batch dynamics, GPU SKU, memory bandwidth, quantization tolerance, and a dozen other variables that shift week to week. Most teams pick a model once, over-provision GPUs, and absorb the cost. Kimchi is the system that makes that decision automatically - continuously matching workloads to the most cost-efficient, best-performing LLM and serving configuration on a customer's infrastructure. We're building the optimization layer between the model and the hardware, and we need engineers who understand both sides deeply.
5+ years building real ML systems, with a portfolio that shows depth in inference or training infrastructure (not just model training notebooks).
Strong Python - production services, not scripts.
Hands-on experience with at least one of vLLM, SGLang, or TensorRT-LLM, and a working mental model of why an inference engine performs the way it does on a given GPU.
Fluency with quantization tradeoffs - you've measured quality regressions, not just compression ratios.
Comfort with distributed systems: collective communication, sharding strategies, and the practical failure modes of multi-GPU and multi-node setups.
A bias toward measurement. You instrument before you optimize, and you can tell the difference between a real win and a benchmark artifact.
Self-direction. This role comes with a wide mandate; you should be excited by that, not unsettled by it.
Responsibilities:
Push throughput. Continuous batching, speculative decoding, chunked prefill, kernel-level tuning across vLLM, SGLang, and TensorRT-LLM. Find the ceiling on each GPU SKU, then raise it.
Cut latency. Attack TTFT and TPOT separately. Profile, identify the actual bottleneck (compute, memory bandwidth, scheduling, networking), and fix it - not the bottleneck you assumed.
Get more out of the KV cache. Paged attention, prefix caching, eviction policies, cache reuse across requests, quantized KV. This is where a lot of the unrealized throughput lives, and it's an area you'll own.
Quantize without regressing quality. INT8, INT4, FP8 across weights, activations, and KV. Empirical work: measure quality on real workloads, not just perplexity benchmarks.
Shrink cold starts and memory footprint. Faster init, smarter weight loading, tighter memory accounting - the difference between a model that scales and one that doesn't.
Scale across nodes. Distributed inference topologies, network-aware placement, checkpointing strategies that don't bottleneck on storage or interconnect.
Set the technical direction. Decide what we benchmark, what we adopt, and what we build ourselves. Bring the team along with strong writeups and reproducible experiments.
What’s in it for you?
Competitive salary (depending on the level of experience).
Enjoy a flexible, remote-first global environment.
Collaborate with a global team of cloud experts and innovators, passionate about pushing the boundaries of Kubernetes technology
Equity options.
Get quick feedback with a fast-paced workflow. Most feature projects are completed in 1 to 4 weeks.
Spend 10% of your work time on personal projects or self-improvement.
Learning budget for professional and personal development - including access to international conferences and courses that elevate your skills.
Annual hackathon to spark new ideas and strengthen team bonds.
Team-building budget and company events to connect with your colleagues.
Equipment budget to ensure you have everything you need.
Extra days off to help maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
We’re a global team of over 400 people, working together to push the boundaries of open-source technology and multi-cloud solutions. Our vision is to help developers, builders, and creators bring their ideas to life with speed and simplicity, by providing a cloud data platform that makes open-source databases, search, streaming, and application infrastructure easily accessible to everyone.
The Role
Aiven is a global technology company providing an open-source data and AI platform across all major clouds. Our platform empowers businesses to stream, store, and analyze data in multi-cloud environments with speed, security, and scalability. As an Enterprise Account Executive for the DACH region, you will drive strategic growth by acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding relationships within our existing large accounts (>$500M revenue). This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role focused on new logo acquisition, growing usage over baseline, and increasing customer commitments in one of Aiven’s most important markets.
In this role, you will engage C-level and senior stakeholders across both technical and business functions (e.g. CTO, CIO, VP Engineering, Head of Product). You’ll leverage Aiven’s proven sales methodologies – MEDDPICC qualification, the Challenger Sales approach, and Command of the Message – to manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to close. If you are a top-performing enterprise SaaS seller with a talent for outcome-based selling and executive engagement, and you’re excited about helping enterprises succeed with cutting-edge open-source data technologies, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
Drive New Business: Identify, target, and win new enterprise logos in the DACH region, focusing on organizations with $500M+ in revenue. Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach and value proposition through negotiation and closing.
Expand Strategic Accounts: Grow revenue within existing enterprise customers by uncovering new use cases, upselling additional Aiven services, and increasing commitments beyond baseline usage. Develop strategic account and demand plans to maximize value for both the client and Aiven.
Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships at the C-suite and VP level, as well as with leaders in development, DevOps, and product management. Challenge the status quo of customers’ current data infrastructure and inspire a vision for how Aiven’s platform can drive better business outcomes.
Solution Selling & Value Articulation: Become an expert in Aiven’s platform and the open-source technologies we offer (Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Clickhouse and more). Articulate the business value of our multi-cloud data and AI platform in terms of agility, cost efficiency, and time-to-market improvements. Maintain a strong Command of the Message when conveying Aiven’s value proposition and differentiation.
MEDDPICC Sales Process: Rigorously qualify opportunities using the MEDDPICC framework to ensure a high-quality pipeline. Accurately forecast and execute on quarterly and annual sales plans. Manage complex sales cycles with a disciplined, metrics-driven approach to qualification, value demonstration, and closing deals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to generate pipeline, and partner with Solution Architects on technical validation and solution design for customers. Work closely with Product and Engineering to incorporate customer feedback, align on roadmap priorities, and ensure technical validation for complex solution designs.
Market Insight & Strategy: Stay informed on industry trends in cloud, data infrastructure, and the DACH enterprise market. Provide feedback to Aiven’s product and leadership teams on customer needs and competitive insights. Represent Aiven at regional industry events and conferences to build brand awareness as needed.
Exceed Targets: Consistently meet and exceed your sales quotas and KPIs. Take full ownership of your territory and accounts, leveraging Aiven’s high-performance sales culture and resources to deliver results and grow our presence in the region.
What We're Looking For:
Enterprise Sales Excellence: 5–10+ years of success in enterprise SaaS or cloud infrastructure sales, selling complex technical solutions to large organizations. A proven track record of overachievement against multimillion-dollar targets is required (e.g. President’s Club or top 10% performer).
Strategic Deal Maker: Demonstrated ability to close complex, consultative deals with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. Experience engaging senior technical (CTO, VP Engineering, Architects) and business leaders, with an emphasis on solving strategic challenges rather than just pushing products.
Outcome-Focused Challenger: Skilled in outcome-based selling – you focus on customers’ business objectives and pains, and tailor solutions to deliver measurable value. Comfortable challenging customers’ thinking (in a professional, insightful manner) to guide them toward better solutions, in line with the Challenger Sales methodology.
MEDDPICC & Methodology Mastery: Hands-on experience with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or similar sales frameworks, and adept at using structured qualification in your sales process. Able to maintain Command of the Message, communicating value and differentiation clearly at every stage of the sales cycle.
Domain & Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of the value of data and the importance of the data journey in delivering tangible business value to organisations. Experience in the data and technology landscape is essential, with familiarity with open-source data infrastructure, cloud services, and developer platforms being a strong preference. You can credibly discuss technical concepts and align them with business outcomes, bridging conversations between engineering teams and executives.
Executive Presence & Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Able to engage in consultative discussions with C-level executives and simplify complex ideas into compelling narratives. Fluent English and German language proficiency is strongly preferred to effectively serve the DACH market.
High-Performance Mindset: A self-driven, entrepreneurial approach with the discipline to thrive in a high-performance, high-growth culture. You take ownership of your results and also collaborate well within a global team. Experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment is a plus.
Education & Training: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Ongoing professional development (e.g. sales training certifications) is a plus, reflecting a commitment to honing your craft.
Don’t worry if your experience doesn’t line up perfectly – we still encourage everyone to apply. We believe in investing in our crabs’ professional growth.

The Role
We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our small, focused ClickHouse team. You'll work on the systems that power our managed ClickHouse service – building, scaling, and operating infrastructure that thousands of customers depend on daily.
You'll write Python that orchestrates database lifecycle operations, dig into Linux internals when things get interesting, and ship features through a well-established CI/CD pipeline. You'll work in a modern async-first Python codebase alongside engineers who care about code quality, type safety, and automation.
If you have experience with ClickHouse internals or C++ – even better. But what matters most is strong backend fundamentals and a genuine interest in databases and distributed systems.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain backend services in Python (FastAPI, asyncio, psycopg2) that manage the ClickHouse service lifecycle
Work with CI/CD pipelines (Buildkite, GitHub Actions) to ship code reliably and often
Investigate and resolve production issues across the stack – from Python application code down to Linux system behavior
Contribute to technical planning within a small team where your input directly shapes the roadmap
Write well-tested, type-checked code and participate in thorough code reviews
Use AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow to accelerate development
What We're Looking For
Must have:
Solid Python development skills -- you write clean, production-grade Python and understand async patterns (asyncio, aiohttp)
Strong understanding of databases -- you know how relational and analytical databases work under the hood, not just how to query them
Deep Linux knowledge (Fedora preferred) -- comfortable with systemd, process management, filesystem internals, and debugging at the OS level
CI/CD experience -- you've built and maintained delivery pipelines, not just used them
Familiarity with automated testing -- unit, integration, and system tests are part of how you work
Experience with AI coding tools -- you actively use AI-assisted development in your workflow and understand how to get the most out of it
Distributed systems awareness -- you understand the challenges of running services across multiple nodes and regions
Fluent English -- written and verbal
Nice to have:
ClickHouse experience -- operational knowledge, query optimization, or contributions to the project
C++ or C -- ability to read and contribute to database engine code
Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) with Terraform or similar IaC tools
PostgreSQL operational experience
Software and network security knowledge
Why This Role
Small team, big impact. You're not a cog -- you'll shape the technical direction of a product used at scale.
Real engineering problems. Database orchestration, distributed systems, performance at scale -- not CRUD apps.
Modern tooling. Strict type checking, automated formatting, security scanning, and AI-assisted development are the norm, not aspirations.
Berlin-based, hybrid. The team is in the office 3 times per week.

Company description
Quantum technologies have the potential to solve some of the world’s biggest challenges. There have been great advances in all areas of quantum technologies, and new fields of application are opened up every day. Hybrid computer systems that combine classic high-performance computing with quantum computers are already being used to develop solutions in sectors such as logistics, healthcare, finance, energy, automotive and aerospace. Quantum mechanical predictions are also used to obtain unprecedented precision in measurements, generate unbreakable codes, and form the basis of impenetrable communication networks. All these developments are happening right now, and they are happening at Terra Quantum.
At Terra Quantum we are building the world’s leading Quantum Technology company. We offer customers world-class quantum technology expertise organized as “quantum-as-a-service”: hybrid quantum algorithms, quantum compute and quantum enabled security solutions. Through the proprietary quantum cloud, customers have access to a unique technology platform which provides a toolset to solve real-world challenges in the realms of machine learning, optimization and simulation, today. In 2022, the company closed its Series A financing round with a $75m fundraise.
Quantum physics has, in some respects, parallels to the machine language of our computers-the zeros and ones into which our keyboard or touchscreen instructions are translated for execution in the computer-only on a larger scale: it is the machine language of the universe. The second quantum revolution is based on the control of individual quantum systems, such as individual atoms. We use quantum computers to solve currently unsolvable problems, simulate molecules and their interactions, find drugs for diseases that are not yet curable, find new materials, or make artificial intelligence stronger. Quantum is now.
Terra Quantum is a future-focused quantum services and technology company working on making the second quantum revolution a reality. Terra Quantum’s activities span all areas, markets, and industries globally.
Our purpose is to pioneer quantum technologies to change the world for good,
Our vision is to lead the quantum revolution and be the trailblazer in technology solutions, shaping a better future for humankind to thrive in, and
Our mission is to unleash the power of quantum tech to deliver meaningful solutions today
Terra Quantum is an equal opportunities employer, committed to diversity, inclusion and employee well-being.
