Role Overview

As a Customer Education Specialist at Sedna, you will deliver structured onboarding and training experiences to customers across regions and customer types. Education Delivery

Required

• Background or education in maritime, shipping, logistics, or port operations, or demonstrable interest in the maritime industry

Position Summary

The Director, Category Management - Mechanics is a strategic leader accountable for owning and executing a comprehensive, forward-looking sourcing and supplier strategy to build a resilient global supplier network and drive innovation and value creation across the Mechanics category.   The leader will shape ASM’s long-term sourcing roadmap, create leverage, negotiate contracts and ensure cost, quality, and supplier excellence.

What You Would Get To Do

The Event Technology Manager is responsible for managing all technological aspects of event registration, including overseeing registration websites, database management, and troubleshooting technical issues. Key Responsibilities

Account Ownership

• Own a named portfolio of Premier and Strategic accounts. Know them well enough that no renewal, no escalation, and no expansion conversation comes as a surprise.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships. The relationship should not depend on the product working perfectly; it should be strong enough to hold when it does not.
• Produce and execute success plans tied to customer outcomes, not just product usage metrics. Plans should reflect what the customer is trying to achieve and how Sedna is contributing to it.
• Run QBRs with commercial framing. A QBR should advance the relationship and the commercial position, not just report on the quarter.
• Maintain deep product knowledge across Sedna Email, Prefix, and VMS. You are not delivering training, but your commercial conversations need to be grounded in a genuine understanding of how customers are using the product and where they are not.

Retention and Renewal

• Monitor account health continuously and act on risk signals before they become churn conversations. If a customer is at risk, the Head of Customer Success should hear about it from you, not from the customer.
• Co-own the renewal conversation with the AE. Own the preparation, the relationship context, and the customer's readiness to renew; Sales owns the close.
• Escalate renewal risk early, with a clear view of what is driving it and what the options are.

Growth and Expansion

• Identify and progress expansion opportunities in collaboration with the AE. This means having enough commercial awareness to spot the signal and enough credibility with the customer to explore it.
• Bring the Head of Customer Success into complex or large deals at the right moment, not after the conversation has already been shaped.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate training delivery through Education. You are not responsible for delivering training; Education owns that. Your job is to ensure the right training reaches the right accounts at the right time.
• Work with the Programme Manager to ensure smooth onboarding for new accounts entering the portfolio.
• Provide context to Education Specialists before training sessions on Premier and Strategic accounts, so delivery is appropriately calibrated.
• Partner with Support and Product to close feedback loops and ensure customer insights are informing the right internal conversations.

About You

• Significant experience managing complex, high-value B2B accounts at a senior level, with a track record of holding executive relationships and co-owning commercial outcomes alongside Sales.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to hold a relationship through difficult conversations, not just good ones.
• A background in shipping, maritime operations, or global trade is strongly preferred. Sedna serves some of the world's largest maritime businesses, and candidates who understand how those organisations operate will be better placed to build credible, lasting relationships with them.
• Commercially fluent: able to read a renewal situation, understand what is driving it, and act with appropriate urgency without waiting to be asked.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, the Customer Success Manager, Enterprise (CSM, Ent) manages a portfolio of customer accounts and is responsible for driving customer value realisation, engagement and retention across the RightShip product suite.

The CSM, Ent will focus on the enterprise and mid-market segment of customers that require high-touch, dedicated service and support.  The CSM, Ent will work closely in partnership with Sales Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Account Managers (AMs) to ensure our largest, most strategic accounts are realizing value.

The role ensures customers are successfully onboarded, supported and enabled to maximise the value of RightShip’s solutions throughout the lifecycle of their engagement. Major Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role

• Support Actis in the tracking, monitoring, and operation of acquisition structures (Special Purpose Vehicles "SPVs") in respect of Actis investments. Main responsibility will be to coordinate workflows with internal and external parties, ensuring fulfilment of all regulatory obligations and filings, and monitoring and maintenance of corporate governance documentation.
• Drive adherence to SPV Governance protocols and policies across a varying set of stakeholders.
• Support the Director of SPV Governance across range of critical tasks and projects on a companywide visible project.

Responsibilities 

• Support formation of companies:
  • Working with deal teams, tax, service providers, etc. in relevant jurisdictions to make sure investment companies are set up as appropriate.
• Collaborating with deal teams:
  • Make sure they follow procedures, protocols to preserve regulatory and tax integrity of SPVs.
  • Making sure deals are approved as per Actis standards (appropriate paperwork in place, etc.)
  • Providing recommendations to SPV boards on topics such as DAFs, etc.
  • Liaising with the service providers on topics such as dealing with auditors, banks, etc.
• Board briefings:
  • Prepare and organize board briefings at regular intervals
  • Work with wide variety of stakeholders to capture and collate inputs to briefings.
  • Co-ordinate across all relevant stakeholders in relation to review and approval of briefing content prior to sharing with respective Board members.
• Portfolio Management:
  • Working with deal teams to support portfolio management activities from a SPV Governance perspective
• Relationships Management:
  • Develop and foster positive relationships with service providers, banking partners, board directors, etc.
• Directorship records:
  • Maintenance of up-to-date records relating to the various directorships, including: D & O records, resignation letters, PoAs, etc.
• SPV related cost management / budgeting:
  • Supporting the review and approval of SPV related invoices, getting involved in cost negotiations as required
  • Working with Funds admin in relation to SPV costs (reviewing, reporting, etc.)
• Dormant / Exited SPVs:
  • Making sure that dormant/exited SPVs are liquidated as per Actis processes and standards
• Compliance & Risk:
  • Supporting the co-ordination of KYC requirements
• Assist the Director with ad hoc projects and reporting requirement

Responsibilities:

As a Manager, Treasury, reporting directly to Riot’s Central Treasury Team, you will help develop the Treasury function for our Singapore publishing operation, including the cash management and payment operations. As a Treasury professional sitting on the local Enterprise team, you will oversee all cash management operations, including cash investments, in the SEA region. You will be an expert in in-house banking and have demonstrated experience automating cross-border treasury operations with knowledge of monetary policies and foreign currency transactions. As an important advisor to Riot’s international offices, you will make immediate important decisions regarding funding and optimization of cash balances. Your work will help develop and implement new procedures for the sustainability of Riot’s growth.

Responsibilities:

• Implement an integrated bank account structure across the SEA publisher (Multiple entities)
• Manage Riot’s bank relationships in the region, including asset managers and commercial bankers. 
• Work with Riot’s local and international cash management banks to create automated payment structures for Accounts Payable and Payroll operations.
