About The Team

The Solutions Architecture Team partners with our users to realise their full potential through the adoption of prescriptive solutions that drive their growth and success.

We work with C-level executives, finance leaders, product design and engineering teams at large global brands and platforms who are building financial services solutions with Stripe.  We work closely with Account Executives, Professional Services, Customer Success Managers, Partners, Technical Account Managers and Product Teams to develop and execute on the account strategy for Stripe’s platform prospects. 

What You’ll Do

As a member of the team, Solutions Architects build highly consultative trusted relationships with C-level executives and technical decision makers in the customer’s organisation to provide business and technical thought leadership, and become a trusted advisor in solving mission-critical business challenges. We architect business models with them so they can drive new monetisation opportunities and growth.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the Platform account team with deep involvement in defining the customer strategy; Identify and close new complex opportunities, and accelerate solution adoption. 
• Drive thought leadership and be a trusted advisor for key business and technical stakeholders including CIO, CTO, COO, CRO, CDO, Head of Product Engineering, and Head of Payments.
• Work to deeply understand the customer’s business objectives, and then design and apply Stripe’s solutions to their challenges. Develop and articulate the end to end customer transformation journey and create future roadmaps and architectures with deep 3rd party integrations in play.
• Conduct business analysis and background research on customers, industries, and competitors.
• Lead strategy engagements with users to align to business priorities, design solutions and secure the technical win by performing in-depth customer discovery, evangelising the proposed solutions through executive briefings, readouts, presentations and solution demos. 
• Expand Stripe’s footprint within existing accounts to new global markets and business units by introducing new capabilities and local payment methods.
• Act as the “Voice of the Customer” to bring insights, trends and opportunities to the leadership, product and engineering teams from the forefront and prioritised for delivery.  
• Participate in sales forecasting, Quarterly Business Reviews and account/territory planning to strategically and tactically align for success.
• Act as a crucial part of the sales team, providing technical insight and solutions to prospective and existing platform users. Guide and provide technical expertise on Stripe and its benefits for both platforms and their customers.
• Showcase the capability of Stripe's platform in solving business problems, highlighting features, benefits, and potential customisations. This includes demonstrating how those benefits pass down to the customer's own user-base.
• Manage pre-sales projects, coordinating proof of concept development, and feasibility checks. Ensure all solutions proposed are viable, beneficial to our potential clients, and also accommodating to their customers.

Minimum Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer, for a global software enterprise.
• Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers and build credibility at all levels.
• Effective group-facilitation skills and confidence in proposing and leading customer meetings to gain strategic footing and pursue opportunities.
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
• Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, presentation skills, and confidence in explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Connect, Stripe's solution for enabling platform payments, exploring its various features, and integration methodologies.
• Gather an in-depth understanding of Stripe's Payments and Billing systems and their applicability across diverse business models to beneficially cater to individual clients' and their customers' needs.
• Ability to understand how a wide variety of applications such as ERP, CRM, Billing, Tax and legacy systems interact with each other in a platform technology stack/ecosystem. 
• Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities while working with multiple strategic opportunities and customers.

About the team

The Solutions Architecture team works with our largest, most complex users to understand their technical requirements and map those to Stripe technology.

As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with Sales to technically qualify new business opportunities, demonstrate the art of the possible with the Stripe Platform, and design robust technical solutions to enable payment transactions, manage money movements and simplify financial operational processes.

What you’ll do

You are an experienced technologist with a blend of technical depth and strong business consulting skills. You can write code, but prefer to spend your time working with users to create Stripe solutions to support customer business objectives in complex, mission critical environments. You will think strategically about the art of the possible for the user’s business, and be able to clearly articulate that in a way that informs and builds confidence in Stripe’s technology.

You should be able to engage and motivate cross-functionally both internally and within our customer’s organisations at all levels, from Cx to Product Engineering. You will have a track record of delivering exceptional customer results as part of a pre-sales team, but a history of deep technical work that gives you the ability to be credible with any audience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Chief Technical Officers, engineering leads, and other technical leads at key users to share technology roadmaps, demonstrate the latest innovations, and define a solution strategy to solve problems
• Lead technical discussions and solution deep dives with users on the value Stripe can provide to them.
• Serve as an advocate for your customers internally, to ensure their needs are represented with product engineering and to influence product direction and priorities.
• Plan and participate in quarterly business reviews with your users, identify new opportunities and collaborate on detailed account planning with account teams

Minimum requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles operating large scale distributed systems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
• Strong experience supporting high traffic, user facing production environments.

The ideal candidate for this role should have

• 3-5 years of product management experience with a track record of shipping developer-facing tools, integrations or APIs

• In nine months, you have produced at least two GA releases of tier 1 drivers or integrations, several service releases, delighted users with new/improved experiences (you’ll need to define your metrics to measure customer success with your deliverables as well), identified new opportunities & refined your roadmap, contributed to other projects, presented to customers, user groups, and conferences, and gained strong support of your team and other stakeholders

MongoDB's Application Modernization Platform (AMP) team aims to grow the adoption of MongoDB by accelerating the rate at which legacy applications built on RDBMS can be modernized to MongoDB. The AMP team uses a combination of proprietary GenAI and deterministic tools combined with modernization techniques (methodologies) developed over numerous customer engagements to modernize legacy applications to MongoDB. What you’ll bring to the role:

• 5+ years of pre-sales, solution architecture, sales engineering, or customer-facing technical experience in B2B SaaS.

What you'll do

Build and Ship LLM-Powered Features

• Architect and deliver production agentic workflows — both ambient (background agents that enrich, monitor, summarise, and surface insights across NewsWhip's data continuously) and interactive (user-facing tool-using agents that respond to journalist and PR analyst queries in real time).

• Own the design of LLM-powered content enrichments that feed directly into customer reporting, alerts, and intelligence briefings — turning raw news signals into structured, decision-ready outputs.

• Lead the technical direction for tool-augmented LLM systems, including MCP-compatible services, function-calling patterns, and multi-step reasoning workflows.

• Make architecture-level decisions about when to use retrieval, when to use agents, when to fine-tune, and when a smaller model or classical NLP approach is the right answer.

• Define structured prompting standards, output schemas, and reusable patterns that the wider engineering team can build on.

Drive Quality, Evaluation, and Observability

• Set the bar for how NewsWhip evaluates LLM systems — offline benchmarks, online experimentation, regression detection, and human-in-the-loop review.

• Own guardrails for safety, hallucination reduction, factual grounding, and output consistency in a domain (news and media intelligence) where accuracy is non-negotiable.

• Build observability into every LLM feature: tracing, cost tracking, latency budgets, quality metrics, and drift monitoring.

• Make pragmatic trade-offs between model quality, latency, and cost — and be accountable for them.

Retrieval, Embeddings, and Semantic Infrastructure

• Evolve the embedding and semantic search infrastructure that underpins NewsWhip's intelligence layer, including chunking strategies, hybrid search, and re-ranking.

• Improve retrieval relevance as one component of a broader agentic architecture — not as an end in itself.

Lead Technically and Influence Cross-Functionally

• Partner with Product, and UX  to translate ambiguous AI ideas into shipped features customers actually rely on.

• Lead technical design discussions and represent the AI team in architecture decisions.

• Raise the bar through code review, mentorship, and writing — help less experienced engineers grow into strong AI practitioners.

• Stay close to the frontier: evaluate emerging models, frameworks, and techniques and bring the right ones into the stack.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an experienced and highly technical Senior Applied AI/ML Scientist who embraces challenges, practices a growth mindset, and is eager to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to provide data-driven solutions to business leaders and to NewsWhip’s by Sprout Social customers. 

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.

• 2+ years hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features in real-world applications.

• Strong backend engineering skills (Python preferred). 

• Experience with several of the following:

• Large Language Model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-weight models, etc.) and transformer-based techniques

• Embedding models and similarity search

• Vector databases (ChromaDB, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)

Required:

• 3+ in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI (or similar), C#, XAML — and ideally additional experience with native Windows code (C++, Win32/WinRT/COM).

As the Content Strategist, you are the editorial voice and narrative lead for Aiven. You create high-impact stories tailored to two distinct audiences: the Developer/Architect and the Senior Executive/CTO. We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer whose heart is in the backend — someone excited to architect and own the systems that power our AI-native platform, built on Elixir/Phoenix. You’ll join small, autonomous project teams (2–3 people) that take full ownership of a feature from scoping and prototyping through to rollout and user feedback, with the depth to contribute across the stack and the instinct to lead from the backend. As Workera scales its AI-native platform to serve global enterprise customers, we need senior engineering talent who can own critical backend systems end-to-end. This role exists to add to our EMEA engineering team, bringing someone with depth and ownership  — shipping high-stakes, platform-critical features while advancing our AI-first engineering culture.

You’ll join a cross-functional team operating at the intersection of generative AI, enterprise software, and talent transformation. Your immediate engineering team consists of four engineers, supported by a product designer, product manager, and engineering manager, all based in the EMEA region. The team values deep work and async communication — with only a few regular touchpoints each week — so you’ll have plenty of uninterrupted time to build.

WHAT YOU BRING

We’re looking for signal, not checkboxes. Here’s what matters most:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend specialization in a SaaS or startup environment — full-stack capability is valued, but your heart is in the backend
• Practical experience building scalable backend systems top to bottom — ideally in Elixir/Phoenix/PostgreSQL; Go, Erlang, or Clojure backgrounds also considered; a proven ability to learn new technologies quickly is a must if you don’t have Elixir experience
• Deep expertise delivering platform-critical, high-stakes backend projects where robustness, performance, and troubleshooting are non-negotiable
• Day-to-day use of AI tools to enhance personal productivity (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent); bonus for experience building user-facing GenAI features

The details: remote work & tech stack

You should be located in the UK, Ireland, or the Netherlands. You are free to choose working hours that suit you best, as long as there is an overlap with your team for most of the day.

Our stack primarily consists of Elixir + PostgreSQL on the backend and Phoenix on the frontend (with some pockets of React). We monitor performance using Sentry, and our platform is hosted on AWS, running on Docker containers defined in Terraform. Our platform is AI-native, and we make extensive use of LLMs in our application. Our code lives on GitHub — in fact, GitHub, Slack and Linear is where most of the collaboration happens. We practice using Loom to demo our work.

About the role:

As a Customer Solutions Architect Manager, you will be a key player in helping us to scale our Customer Solutions Architect organization and define the strategy and processes that drive this team. What we’re looking for

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Zuora Solutions Architect to join our team in a hands-on role supporting subscription billing and revenue automation. This role focuses on implementing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting Zuora Billing and its integrations, particularly with Salesforce. Industry background is flexible, but practical experience with Zuora Billing is required. 

What you’ll be working on

• Configure, customize, and maintain Zuora Billing, including product catalog, rate plans, subscriptions, invoicing, taxation, payments, and related workflows.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, RevOps, and Engineering to support and optimize the SaaS subscription and order-to-revenue lifecycle.
• Support end-to-end order-to-revenue processes by troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Build and maintain Zuora workflows, notifications, custom fields, data mappings, and Salesforce integrations, including data migration activities.

As the Global Events Manager, you are the lead producer of Aiven’s physical and virtual brand experience. You don't just book booths; you architect high-impact environments that cut through the noise of the industry. You are a master of high-velocity project management, capable of juggling a diverse portfolio from large 3rd party conferences (AWS re:Invent, Kafka Summit) to intimate 1st party Aiven-hosted events (Customer Advisory Boards, User Roadshows, Annual Sales Kick-off). We are looking for a high-agency, creative powerhouse who will dive deep into Aiven’s value proposition and personas to ensure every event is perfectly aligned with our audience. You are a natural brand ambassador, as comfortable managing a construction vendor as you are welcoming a CTO to our lounge.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of Aiven’s global event portfolio, encompassing 3rd party industry trade shows and 1st party proprietary programs.
• Own the "Aiven Experience" for our internal and external 1st party events, including Customer Advisory Boards (CABs), Aiven’s User Conference, localized Community Roadshows and our Annual Employee Kick-off.
• Go beyond the logistics. You will study our core personas (Developers, Architects, CTOs) and our internal culture to ensure every event, from a technical user conference to an internal summit, is tailored to the specific audience.
• Develop out-of-the-box concepts that make Aiven the most talked-about brand on-site. You aren't afraid to take risks to ensure our physical presence reflects our status as a market leader.
• Lead end-to-end execution for multiple concurrent events globally. You are the source of truth for timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring zero loss in quality under pressure.
• Act as a proactive host on the event floor. You will learn Aiven’s high-level value prop to comfortably engage prospects, qualify their interest, and facilitate seamless introductions to our technical and sales teams.
• Direct a network of global vendors and boutique agencies with high standards. You ensure every asset, from a sticker to a 40x40 booth, is Aiven Gold Standard.
• Partner with Revenue Marketing and Ops to ensure every event has clear, measurable goals. Set performance targets, own lead capture, and deliver impact reports that quantify ROI, pipeline influence, or customer expansion to guide future investment decisions.

Ideal Candidate:

• 6+ years in tech event management. Proven experience running both large-scale trade show presences and high-touch proprietary events (User Conferences/SKOs).
• Proven ability to track and report on funnel impact. You are comfortable analyzing ROI and making evidence based recommendations on where to invest the event budget.
• Obsessive attention to detail. You have a "one-inch-off-is-wrong" mentality, spotting small errors in seating charts or booth graphics before they become problems.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and are a power user of project management tools and processes to keep multiple plates spinning.
• A track record of thinking laterally to solve problems and create unique, un-missable experiences.
• High agency and problem solving. On-site, you are the person who makes it happen, finding solutions to the impossible while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn a technical product’s value proposition and speak confidently about it at a high level.
• Willingness to travel. Ready to be on the ground globally (30-40%) to lead from the front.
