As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you will drive predictable, repeatable revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding usage within rapidly scaling technology companies generating 1M-100M in annual revenue, focusing on high-velocity, high-volume transactions. • Lead the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and discovery through technical validation, negotiation, and closing.

Execute Strategic Prospecting: 

• Develop and maintain target account lists of 100-150 ideal customer profile companies.
• Conduct deep account research using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, and 6sense to identify trigger events and buying signals. 
• Execute 80-100+ weekly prospecting touches across calls, emails, LinkedIn, and video messaging to secure first meetings with target personas.

Director & VP-Level Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Build trusted relationships with Directors and VPs in Engineering, Platform, DevOps, and Data organizations. 
• Challenge the status quo of customers' current data infrastructure (DIY Kafka, cloud vendor lock-in, operational overhead) and inspire a vision for how Aiven's platform drives better business outcomes.

Solution Selling & Value Articulation: 

• Become an expert in Aiven's platform and the open-source technologies we offer (Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, ClickHouse and more). 
• Articulate business value in terms of reduced operational overhead (40-60%), faster time-to-production (3-5x), and infrastructure cost optimization (30-50%). 
• Maintain strong Command of the Message when conveying Aiven's value proposition and differentiation.

MEDDPICC Sales Process: 

• Rigorously qualify all opportunities using the MEDDPICC framework to ensure high-quality pipeline.
• Maintain complete MEDDPICC documentation in Salesforce for every qualified opportunity. 
• Accurately forecast with 85%+ commit accuracy and execute on quarterly sales plans.
• Manage high-velocity sales cycles of typically 60-90 days.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

• Partner closely with Solution Architects on technical validation and proof-of-concept management for qualified opportunities. 
• Work with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and adoption. 
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to incorporate customer feedback and align on roadmap priorities for strategic opportunities.

Territory Planning & Market Insight: 

• Develop and maintain 90-day rolling territory plans with clear account prioritization and pipeline generation goals. 
• Monitor technographic signals, funding events, and technology adoption patterns to identify high-intent accounts.

As the Content Strategist, you are the editorial voice and narrative lead for Aiven. You create high-impact stories tailored to two distinct audiences: the Developer/Architect and the Senior Executive/CTO. The Role:

Aiven is seeking a high-impact, strategic, and results-driven Senior Field Marketing Manager, EMEA. Reporting to the Director, Global Revenue Marketing, you will be the primary architect of regional growth strategies designed to accelerate pipeline and drive revenue in our most critical market.

This is not just an event planning role; it is a revenue-ownership role. You will bridge the gap between brand awareness and closed-won deals by designing integrated, multi-channel campaigns that target our highest-value accounts. What You'll Do:

Strategic Growth & Pipeline Architecture

• Integrated Campaign Design: Lead the strategy and execution of high-touch, multi-channel regional campaigns. You won't just run events; you’ll build the pre-event demand gen and post-event conversion paths.
• Bespoke Field Experiences: Design and scale high-value "white glove" experiences, from executive dinners and technical workshops to immersive customer summits, specifically engineered to move the needle on late-stage deals.
• Sales Partnership & Territory Planning: Act as a strategic consultant to the regional Sales leadership. You will align marketing investment with territory goals to hit aggressive Sales-Ready Lead (SRL) and Marketing Sourced Opportunity targets.

Operational Excellence & Leadership

• Revenue Operations Alignment: Partner with Marketing Ops and Sales Enablement to optimize our tech stack (Salesforce, Clay) for better account identification and faster lead follow-up.
• Budget & ROI Ownership: Manage a significant regional budget with full accountability. You will prioritize spend based on historical performance and projected revenue impact, moving beyond "cost-per-lead" to "cost-per-opportunity."
• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Influence the roadmap for Product Marketing and Design to ensure Americas-specific messaging resonates with our local audience and technical personas.

Analysis, Optimization, & Reporting

• Full-Funnel Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including pipeline velocity, win rates, and marketing’s contribution to Net New ARR and Customer Expansion.
• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve on open-source and cloud infrastructure trends to ensure Aiven’s regional presence remains competitive and forward-thinking.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Skills

• 5–7+ years of experience in Revenue Marketing, Demand Generation, or Field Marketing within a B2B SaaS or high-growth technical environment.
• Deep Funnel Expertise: You understand the nuances of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and how to influence complex, technical buying committees.
• Tech Stack Proficiency: Advanced experience with Salesforce and intent data platforms is required. Experience with modern outbound tools like Clay is a major plus.
• Project Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex, high-stakes initiatives and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Technical Literacy: Comfort discussing data infrastructure (PostgreSQL, Kafka, etc.) with a technical audience is highly preferred.

• Based in Cork, Ireland: Ability to work in our Cork office in a hybrid capacity to lead regional collaboration.
