As a Senior Finance Data Scientist, Existing Business, you will be the architect of the systems that predict Intercom’s revenue future. You will move beyond static reporting to build production-grade forecasting models that translate complex customer behaviors into financial signals.
You will work on high-impact, open-ended problems, such as predicting expansion propensity and modeling long-term customer LTV. This role requires a hybrid of financial intuition and technical rigor: the ability to navigate raw data warehouses and the strategic mindset to explain the "why" behind the numbers to our leadership team.
Drive Scalability: Build automated, code-based forecasting workflows that increase the speed, reliability, and granularity of our financial planning.

We’re hiring an Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to lead our global AP operations, manage and develop the AP team, and drive continuous improvement across systems, policies, and workflows. We are looking for another tax team member to join a lean but high-impact Finance organization at an exciting moment of global growth and transformation. This position will play a key role in supporting and scaling Intercom’s revenue accounting operations. You will work closely with Revenue, Finance Systems, Data, and GTM teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and scalable revenue processes as the business grows.
This role is highly operational and detail-oriented, with a focus on owning complex revenue workflows, improving visibility into in-month activity, and ensuring the accuracy of automated processes. You’ll play a critical role in validating automation outputs, strengthening controls, and reducing risk across key revenue streams—including enterprise contracts and usage-based revenue.

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $147,000-$180,000. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Reporting to the Director, Revenue Accounting, this position will play a highly impactful role in building and scaling a world-class revenue accounting function at Intercom. You will collaborate across Revenue, Finance, IT, Legal, and GTM teams to ensure accurate and efficient revenue operations as the business continues to grow.
This role will be instrumental in leading key aspects of the month-end close, standardizing reconciliations and analytical processes, and improving the overall rigor and scalability of our revenue accounting operations. You’ll also help drive automation and leverage AI-powered tools to modernize workflows and reduce manual effort.
We are seeking a driven, open-minded, and technically strong individual with deep revenue accounting experience who is excited to build scalable processes in a fast-paced AI environment. This role requires strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (ASC 606), excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to operationalize complex revenue flows.
