The DevOps Engineer will work within the Platform Engineering team and help provide the infrastructure, tooling, and automation that supports Karbon’s engineering teams. This role focuses on improving deployment workflows, platform reliability, and operational visibility across our cloud platform.
Engineers are expected to balance delivery speed with a strong commitment to quality, meeting agreed timelines while producing reliable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions. Sound judgment in making trade-offs between velocity and long-term sustainability is essential.
Collaborate Effectively
Engineering is collaborative by default. Team members are expected to contribute constructively in design discussions, reviews, and planning, communicate clearly about progress and risks, and support shared team outcomes in both hybrid and distributed environments.
Build and Maintain Systems
Engineers are responsible for building new capabilities while maintaining and improving existing systems. This includes designing scalable solutions, reducing technical debt, supporting operational stability, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Operate with Autonomy
A high degree of autonomy is expected. Given clear objectives, engineers should independently translate problems into actionable technical approaches, proactively identify improvements, and continuously expand relevant technical expertise.
Ownership and Accountability
Ownership is fundamental. Engineers are accountable for the quality, performance, and customer impact of their work from design through post-release support, and are expected to follow through on commitments.
AI-Enabled Engineering
AI is reshaping how software is built, and we are committed to leveraging it as a force multiplier for creativity, impact, and capability. Engineers are expected to confidently apply strong technical fundamentals while embracing AI tools and approaches to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and innovation. Contribute to Team Culture
Engineers contribute positively to a culture of professionalism, transparency, low bureaucracy, and mutual respect, strengthening team performance through authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
Candidates with the following characteristics and experience are encouraged to apply:
AI is reshaping how software gets built, and at Karbon we’re fully committed. We don’t see AI as a replacement for engineers. We see it as a force multiplier that will elevate creativity, impact and capability to levels we’ve barely begun to imagine. We’re looking for developers who are confident in their fundamentals, driven to grow, and excited to harness AI to build something meaningful. If you’re energized by this future rather than cautious of it, you’ll feel right at home here.
We build modern, scalable software on a thoughtfully designed stack:
Our architecture continues to evolve as we scale. We invest in event-driven systems, well-defined microservices, and containerized deployments (Azure Container Apps) to build resilient, decoupled, and high-performing software.
If you care about clean service boundaries, reliable systems, and shipping with confidence — you’ll feel right at home here.
Karbon embraces diversity and inclusion, aligning with our values as a business. Research has shown that women and underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single criteria. If you've made it this far in the job description but your past experience doesn't perfectly align, we do encourage you to still apply. You could still be the right person for the role!
We recruit and reward people based on capability and performance. We don’t discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, lifestyle, age, educational background, national origin, religion, physical or cognitive ability, and other diversity dimensions that may hinder inclusion in the organization.
Generally, if you are a good person, we want to talk to you. 😛
If there are any adjustments or accommodations that we can make to assist you during the recruitment process, and your journey at Karbon, contact us at people.support@karbonhq.com for a confidential discussion.

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Change & Enablement Specialist who will be embedded within the APAC Operations team to guide frontline teams through two concurrent, large-scale transformation programs — a platform migration and an internal operational transformation. This role ensures every process change, system release, and new workflow is documented, trained, reinforced, and communicated so teams are prepared and confident before changes go live. If you love making complex things simple, enabling others to thrive through change, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
As a Change & Enablement Specialist, your key area of responsibility will be ensuring frontline teams across the APAC region are fully enabled to navigate a fast-paced, high-change environment driven by a major platform migration and operational transformation. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation, SOPs, and journey maps; designing and facilitating training sessions for each new release; running live AMA sessions; tracking adoption metrics; and drafting internal communications — all while maintaining structured feedback loops between frontline and program teams. You will also identify inefficiencies in Customer Success workflows, coordinate improvements with team leads, and conduct post-implementation reviews to capture and act on frontline feedback.
To be successful in this role you will be a proactive, solutions-oriented communicator who anticipates enablement gaps before they arise, adapts messaging across diverse cultures and audiences, and brings composure and clarity to teams experiencing change fatigue. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong documentation and technical writing skills, experience designing and delivering training in SaaS or technology environments, and a working understanding of change management frameworks such as ADKAR.
Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, quick reference guides, and journey maps for the program workflows.
Develop and maintain FAQ documents, talk tracks, and system guides for new tools and platforms as they roll out.
Design and facilitate training sessions for each new process, tool, or workflow release, including role-specific training paths.
Create training materials including slide decks, facilitator guides, and onboarding content for new hires joining during the migration period.
Run live Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions for frontline teams during migration phases.
Deliver post-training reinforcement activities and observe team interactions to identify skill gaps and provide targeted coaching.
Track adoption metrics and flag areas where additional support is needed.
Draft internal communications and What’s Changed summaries aligned to weekly releases, maintaining structured feedback loops from frontline teams back to program teams.
Identify inefficiencies in Customer Success workflows, support implementation of improvements, and coordinate rollout with team leads.
Conduct post-implementation reviews and maintain a process improvement log to capture frontline feedback and track outcomes.
Experience in change management, enablement, learning and development, or training coordination roles within technology or SaaS environments.
Strong documentation and technical writing skills — ability to translate complex processes into clear, accessible materials for diverse audiences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging across diverse cultures, languages, and regions.
Training design and facilitation experience — comfortable designing, delivering, and iterating training for different roles and skill levels.
Change management knowledge — understanding of how people adopt new processes and tools (ADKAR or similar frameworks).
Resilience and composure in fast-paced, high-change environments — able to manage competing priorities without dropping quality.
Ability to build confidence in teams navigating change — enabling others to succeed through the quality of your materials and how you show up.

All roles have core hours of 10am to 4pm, giving you flexibility around how you structure your day. Collaboration really matters to us, with quarterly and bi-monthly meet-ups depending on your department or area of work, but we’re sensible about it – we won’t ask you to come into the office to tick a box. As a Partner Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering value for some of our most important customers. You’ll be the day-to-day strategic partner to key accounts — building relationships, managing delivery across projects, and ensuring our platform is delivering against customer goals and ROI expectations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving SaaS environment, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is passionate about using technology to create better outcomes for cities and communities.
What you’ll own
This is a role with real responsibility and autonomy. You’ll own outcomes, make decisions and help shape how we work as we scale, in an environment that values respect, directness and good intent.

About Karbon
Karbon is the global leader in AI-powered practice management software for accounting firms. We provide an award-winning cloud platform that helps tens of thousands of accounting professionals work more efficiently and collaboratively every day. With customers in 40 countries, we have grown into a globally distributed team across the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines. We are well-funded, ranked #1 on G2, growing rapidly, and have a people-first culture that is recognized with Great Place To Work® certification and on Fortune magazine's Best Small Workplaces™ List.
Balance Speed and Quality
Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for integrating AI into meaningful product development are essential.
Contribute to Team Culture
Engineers contribute positively to a culture of professionalism, transparency, low bureaucracy, and mutual respect, strengthening team performance through authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration.
You’ll design and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions across our .NET and modern JavaScript stack. You’ll work on complex, real-world problems where performance, reliability, and maintainability matter. You’ll influence technical direction, elevate engineering standards, and help shape how we build as we scale.
AI is reshaping how software gets built — and we’re leaning in. We see AI as a force multiplier for strong engineers. If you’re excited to combine solid fundamentals with modern AI tooling to move faster and think bigger, you’ll thrive here.
