The PITCH
As a creator at VaynerMedia you are a strategic and creative thinker, storyteller, and doer. This is a great role for a creator with a passion for pop culture and a keen understanding of social media and current TikTok trends.
Most importantly, you MUST love social media, especially TikTok. You are someone who lives on the platform. You know the creators, spot the trends, and understand its best practices. You don’t just consume videos, you create them. You know the suite of tools on the platform and understand how to use each of them. Production experience is a plus.
You’re hands-on, able to own the creative process from ideation all the way through to execution. You are able to bring your ideas to life across various social and digital platforms, understanding best practices and nuances. You can create work for various formats, including static images, videos, GIFs, and more. Aside from working independently, you are someone who can collaborate with creative partners, too. The PITCH
We are looking for a Senior Art Director who has the know-how and skills to work hands-on and who can own and guide the creative process from ideation to execution. Who You Are:
VaynerMedia Australia is seeking a highly organized, highly motivated, and detail-oriented, self-starter who is passionate about creating a cohesive office environment to drive success of the larger team. Someone who is all about operations, speed, flexibility, adaptability, and helping to build Culture in an ever-evolving and growing office space. This hybrid role covers both Office Management and support for the office’s Country Manager. The ideal candidate will embody and seamlessly integrate the core competencies essential for success in this role: strategic mindset, project administration, stakeholder and core relationship management, and business and ecosystem awareness.
What You’d Do:
Workplace Manager:
- Work closely with leadership and communicate all office-related updates
- Act as a point person to greet, assist, and direct all visitors, clients, and employees alike through the office
- Provide consistent onsite support to our teams and ensure a cohesive work environment
- Keep office supplies and snacks/coffee stocked and maintained - includes managing the budget
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail
- Handle all catering orders for team breakfasts/lunches
- Provide support to new employees on their first day in office (Access to the space, Tours, Desk Assignment, etc..)
- Culture Ambassador - Act as lead and liaison between the Australia office and our larger team of culture drivers at VaynerMedia AU to help build employee morale at an individual and office-wide level by coordinating events, surprises, etc. in the office.
- Manage strategic space planning to accommodate fast company growth
- Build and maintain relationships with Building Management and Service Vendors
- Facilities - Oversee general maintenance and upkeep of the office space, including managing facility services (HVAC, cleaning service, trash removal…)
- Coordinate repairs when office appliances/equipment are not working
- Manage building security and access control system (if applicable)
- Ensure an accurate Emergency Action Plan is in place
- Monitor all safety equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, AED cases, etc.) and ensure the office is following fire code and other safety requirements
Executive Assistant:
- Manage an active calendar/diary of appointments for multiple executives, with a keen understanding of business/team priorities for proper scheduling prioritization.
- Coordinate and arrange all details of internal and external meetings for executives and their teams.
- Master ‘calendar hygiene/management’ by resolving conflicting needs in partnership with your executive(s).
- Communicate with internal team members and external partners on behalf of the Executive(s).
- Prepare and edit documents as needed, including confidential correspondence, memos, notes, presentations, forms, spreadsheets, etc.
- Manage complex travel plans, itineraries, and travel needs for Executive(s).
- Complete monthly expense reports with attention to detail.

Here’s where you come in.
- Create content that makes impactful connections with consumers, measured by high attention metrics (views, likes, comments, etc).
- Serve as an algorithm-fluent editor with deep expertise in hooks, pacing, structure, and retention across social platforms — the primary owner of DJ-ing, remixing, and optimizing content to drive scalable performance.
- Principally accountable for performance tuning and platform success, turning good content into scalable content through continuous optimization and creative iteration.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished final videos, ensuring assets are optimized natively for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube — with a performance-creative mindset, not post-production only.
- Stay up to date with platform algorithms, emerging formats, creator trends, and editing techniques to keep content fresh, relevant, and competitive in feeds.
- Bring ideas to the table and participate in ideation, while recognizing that the core value of the role is making the work work through execution, testing, and optimization.
- Collaborate effectively with your teammates and cross functional departments on rapid fire requests and tight timelines.
- Attend creative brainstorms, kickoffs, and team meetings, contributing meaningful ideas and helping shape performance-driven strategy.
- Mentor Creators, and even in some cases Art Directors and Copywriters, on your team and across the agency; following the leadership of your A/CD, you help guide and educate on best practices, ideating, execution, and performance optimization.
Our Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years experience in content creation.
- Expert in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs (i.e. Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator).
- Execute high editing techniques.
- Proficient in AI tools, e.g. Gemini, Weavy AI, TikTok Symphony, Nano Bana Pro
- Knowledgeable in AVID, AVID Symphony, Pro Tools.
- Proficient in sound design, mixing, and color correction.
- Strong understanding of post-production workflow.
- Adept at organising projects, managing workload for multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.

This is a full-time contract role based in Australia with a reporting role to the Country Manager.

- Write and execute statements of work, scope, tasks, timeline, budget, and development based on project requirements and plans.

- Make magic happen at all internal cross-functional teams during the project lifecycle for all Brand projects that include creative, social & digital content, builds, and events.

- 3+ years of experience managing projects, coordinating teams, and other planning-related duties, preferably in the digital ad or media space.

- Work with us on creating what the content principles for all KOL assets for a certain campaign, the brand's role and engagement with that content, and develop KOL briefing guides for video and photo production and help us create a virtual lab for KOL product presentation --- all the above for APAC with possible global reapplication
- Work on specific shooting guides per platform in order to make sure assets are as engaging and authentic as possible, always building on brand equity
