Reporting to the Director of Commercial Project Management, the Senior Project Manager, Custom Antibodies will coordinate multiple simultaneous projects for our high-throughput Antibody/IgG offerings. You will manage project execution from the initial inquiry through final delivery. This includes managing communication between several internal departments—Sales, Customer Service, Tech Support, Operations, Product Management, Finance etc—to create quotes/Statements of Work (SOWs) and ensure customers receive proactive updates on their project’s progress.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage End-to-End Coordination: Oversee custom Antibody projects from intake to final delivery, ensuring smooth transitions between quoting, production, and Antibody/data delivery.
• Design & Quoting: Gather antibody design requirements to ensure quotes and SOWs accurately reflect customer needs, accurate costing, and the production team's capabilities.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. An advanced degree or hands-on laboratory experience is a plus.
• Experience: 4–5 years in the life sciences. A technical background in antibody engineering and/or antibody characterization is preferred. Familiarity with Salesforce and Jira is a plus.
• Project Management: 1–2 years of experience leading scientific projects in a commercial setting, with a proven ability to manage timelines across different departments.

Qualifications

onX is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with a passion for building scalable platform Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. Your focus will be on designing, developing, and scaling secure authentication, authorization, and user management services that are foundational to our platform. You will play a key role in evolving our IAM platform and delivering seamless cross-platform authentication across iOS, Android, and web.

You will be part of our Core Services team that enables product teams to build faster and more securely by providing core infrastructure, services, and patterns. TECHNOLOGIES WE USE

Our backend engineers primarily work in Go running in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform. The IAM team works extensively with identity platforms (Ory Kratos, Hydra, Oathkeeper), distributed databases (CockroachDB), and OAuth 2.0/session management patterns. Understanding mobile authentication tradeoffs (WebView vs. browser-based auth, token-based patterns) is particularly relevant for this role.

As an onX Senior Backend Engineer, your day to day responsibilities would look like:

• Build scalable, secure IAM services that enable new features and products across the onX suite of apps
• Design and implement backend systems focusing on observability, fault-tolerance, security, and high performance

onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to make between $146,000 to $182,000 upon hire. Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the design of high-reliability electronics throughout their lifecycle by working with a team of engineers.

This is a design-forward role for someone who understands how power infrastructure actually gets delivered today, how to source it, design it, and scale it under real-world constraints. What You'll Own

Power Strategy & Infrastructure Design 

• Develop hybrid approaches to delivering MW-scale power (utility, temporary service, generation, storage), understanding technical requirements and thinking from first principles to identify creative solutions that meet those requirements

• Diagnose and resolve power quality issues, failures, and system risks

Design & Planning Review

Construction, Commissioning & Execution

Capacity Planning & Power Systems Analysis

• Build staged power ramp models aligned to business timelines

What We're Looking For

Required

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5–10+ years in industrial, manufacturing, or R&D environments
• Experience with medium-voltage systems, utility interconnection, or large power upgrades
• Strong background in electrical distribution systems and load calculations

Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite role at our Portland, OR facility. A Day in the Life: 

A technical sales role encompasses a wide variety of tasks where one day does not look exactly like the next. The projects our team handles are high in volume and unique from one another, spanning throughout the whole course of design, procurement, coordination, and post-sale support. 

Typical tasks include:

• Outside sales meetings and calls to build relationships with existing and new customers
• Application engineering to apply our products using sound engineering principles 
• Project management of installations in progress - Managing schedules/plans to guarantee we can get equipment on site when the site needs it, in turn creating satisfied and returning customers. 
• Service and technical support of existing equipment 
• Supporting end users to maintain high levels of customer service, from assisting contractors with wiring on site to remote troubleshooting for staff in the kitchen. 

Two to three full days per week in the office working on bids, one to two days on job sites, and dedicate another day to developing the territory. Territory development may include giving presentations to the engineering community, visiting new customers, or expanding contacts with an existing account.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

A Day in the Life: 

A technical sales role encompasses a wide variety of tasks where one day does not look exactly like the next. The projects our team handles are high in volume and unique from one another, spanning throughout the whole course of design, procurement, coordination, and post-sale support. 

Typical tasks include:

• Outside sales meetings and calls to build relationships with existing and new customers
• Application engineering to apply our products using sound engineering principles 
• Project management of installations in progress - Managing schedules/plans to guarantee we can get equipment on site when the site needs it, in turn creating satisfied and returning customers. 
• Service and technical support of existing equipment 
• Supporting end users to maintain high levels of customer service, from assisting contractors with wiring on site to remote troubleshooting for staff in the kitchen. 

Two to three full days per week in the office working on bids, one to two days on job sites, and dedicate another day to developing the territory. About the Team

Our team is responsible for a large part of the server-side development — camera integration and support. We work with a wide variety of camera manufacturers, each using different protocols (IP-based, TCP/UDP, HTTP, SOAP, ONVIF, and various proprietary text and binary protocols).

The integration team investigates and supports these protocols, often performing reverse engineering. A significant part of the work involves debugging issues on local and remote devices using tools like Wireshark.

Our software runs on a wide range of hardware and operating systems. We build efficient, portable solutions using modern C++ (C++20/23), along with CMake, Conan, and Git.

• Serve as the “voice of the customer” providing insight for expansion of product lines or new focus industries.
• Drive value-added applications and engineered solutions.
• Meet/exceed territory sales quotas as established by the RSM and/or Vice President - Field Sales.
• Be proficient in BASE selling skills and implement to build strong customer relationships.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate new business and sustain growth.
• Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client information. Fully utilize the CRM as a communication, reporting, measurement, and tracking tool to enhance productivity.
• Effectively communicate with the entire Phoenix Contact team, both verbally and written.
• Be proficient in and drive the use of all sales tools provided to support local markets.
• Active involvement in industry-related associations.
• Proactively utilize all resources and sales tools to maximize productivity, responsiveness, and customer delight.
• Continue personal development through an effective skill-building program as determined by the RSM, Director of Sales, and/or the Harrisburg Training Department.
• Demonstrate technical competence on all products/solutions within area of focus.
• Provide reports to RSM as required.
• Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of Phoenix Contact automation, control and networking products, applications, and technology for the purpose of product sales.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge on all Phoenix Contact automation, control, and networking products/solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree. Technical discipline preferred and/or equivalent industry experience.
• 3 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Ability to work independently from home office and communicate effectively with colleagues with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
