About the role
As a Senior Legal Program Manager, you’ll sit at the intersection of legal execution, operational excellence, and process design. You’ll partner closely with attorneys across a range of subject areas, lead key programs, drive complex cross-functional initiatives, and identify practical ways to use AI and automation to reduce manual work and increase the Legal team’s overall impact. This role is well suited for someone who's energized by both day-to-day execution and longer-term process improvement.
What you’ll be doing
You'll provide hands-on program and project management support across a broad range of legal work, including corporate, regulatory, product, IP, commercial, privacy, and employment matters. On the corporate side, you'll support core work like entity management, board and stockholder matters, corporate records, and compliance, while also helping drive larger transactions, strategic initiatives, and other key company milestones. You'll manage our patent and trademark portfolios, run the patent incentive program, and support product and regulatory efforts such as licensing, product compliance, exams, audits, due diligence, and the work required to support Mercury's application for a bank* charter.
A major part of this role is helping each legal subteam identify where AI can most meaningfully improve how work gets done. You'll evaluate existing manual processes, spot opportunities to introduce AI-driven solutions, and design smarter workflows that reduce repetitive work, increase the team's impact, and help us stay ahead of the curve.

We're looking for a Manager to lead the Enablement pillar.
This is a people management role, but it's not a traditional "ops manager" role. The Account Fraud Enablement team is the infrastructure layer of our fraud program. Your team builds the policies, training, quality systems, and tooling that make it possible for our investigators to make fast, accurate, high-stakes decisions at scale. You'll manage a team of risk investigators who own domains like QC program design, SOP development, BPO training, and operational tooling. You'll also partner closely with the Fraud Investigations Manager to ensure that what Enablement builds actually lands in production and improves outcomes.

As we transition from fintech to a regulated institution, we are building a full commercial lending operation from the ground up. The documentation this person writes, the controls they design, and the evidence they build will be reviewed by bank regulators as part of Mercury's formal examination process. We need an operator who understands that weight and is motivated by it.
Our goal is to build a credit and lending operation that looks nothing like a traditional bank: efficient by design, scalable from first principles, and built to meet the standards of a fully regulated institution from day one. This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role that is expected to evolve into a team leadership position as Mercury's lending program grows.

Railroads didn't change the world because tracks were laid once. What transformed commerce was the expansion of connected networks: routes multiplied, standards emerged, and usage deepened over time. That expansion didn't happen by accident. It was driven by people who identified where connections mattered most, built the systems to sustain them, and led the teams that made it all move.
Mercury is in that expansion phase now. The tracks are laid. The Account Development team exists to deepen usage across a growing customer base, and it's already working. As the team scales, we're adding a second Senior Manager to lead alongside an existing peer. You'll start with a small group of ADMs and build the team largely from scratch through your own hiring.
This is a role for someone who has done this before. You've led a team running an upsell or expansion motion, you know what a high-performing ADM looks like, and you've coached people to consistently hit targets in a high-velocity environment. You'll come in with a foundation already in place: established playbooks, a peer to collaborate with, and a track record of results to build on. Your job will be to take a team of Account Development Managers and drive them to the next level. You'll own your team's performance against expansion and adoption metrics, contribute to the continued evolution of how the function operates, and serve as a critical feedback loop from customers back into Mercury's product and roadmap.
Lead and develop your team. Coach a team of Account Development Managers through structured 1:1s, call reviews, and account strategy sessions that drive real behavior change. Set clear standards for what great looks like across prioritization, customer engagement, expansion strategy, and follow-through, and hold the team to them. Hire and ramp new ADMs with clear expectations from day one.
Own your team's performance. Drive consistent attainment of expansion goals by tracking pipeline health, conversion rates, and leading indicators, then turning those insights into practical coaching plans. Keep expansion opportunities moving and step in when needed to unblock progress, reset momentum, or support high-stakes accounts directly.
Shape strategy and the go-to-market playbook. Define how the team identifies, prioritizes, and engages high-propensity accounts using product-usage data, lifecycle triggers, and predictive scoring. Continuously refine the balance between scalable one-to-many campaigns and high-touch engagements for top-value opportunities.
Lead cross-functionally. Serve as the primary Account Development voice with Product, Marketing, Data, and Revenue Operations, synthesizing customer feedback into actionable insights that influence roadmap and strategy, and partnering with Account Management Leadership to improve workflows and tooling as the team scales.

When the Space Shuttle approached the International Space Station, two vehicles built by different teams, in different countries, with fundamentally different engineering philosophies and systems, had to connect perfectly. The Rendezvous, Proximity Operations, and Docking (RPOD) subsystems were engineered to handle complex mismatches such as different power systems, communication protocols, and technical architectures. Get it wrong, and you have an expensive and potentially catastrophic problem in low Earth orbit.
Mercury announced on December 19, 2025 that we submitted an application to the OCC for a national bank charter and applied for FDIC deposit insurance. In other words, Mercury is building a bank. As part of this work, we will be connecting our modern, product-focused engineering systems to enterprise core banking systems and payment networks built in a different era, with different assumptions and different interfaces. Mercury’s Banking Integration Platform as a Service team is like NASA’s RPOD team, building our integration subsystems that are technically correct and operationally trustworthy.

The year is 1969. The location: Stuttgart, West Germany. Engineers are pacing with strained expressions. They are looking over the Porsche 917, the company's latest attempt at a race car. It's not working properly. The car is one of the most powerful ever built. But drivers describe it as terrifyingly unstable… "a monster". Despite this, Porsche runs it in Le Mans to disastrous results. One of the cars crashes on lap one, ending in tragedy for its driver. All other 917s break down in the race.
Enter John Wyer, a British race engineer, whom the factory calls upon for help. After a long day of testing, John recognizes a lack of smashed bugs on the rear wing and deduces that the wing is not working properly. The team modifies the design to be more upward swept and the 917K takes on a new winning character. It wins LeMans outright in 1970 and goes on to be the most successful race car design of the 70s. Stability, it turns out, was the missing ingredient.

We’re looking for a AI Solutions Architect to drive our customer-facing chatbot and AI agent experience at Mercury. In this role, you will be pivotal in helping define the strategy for creating the optimal customer experience when interacting with AI agents. You will implement this vision through targeted configuration of workflows and automations, regular reviews of bot performance and quality coaching.

The role:
Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Bank Controller will own the accounting function for Mercury's banking entity. This is a foundational leadership role — you will build the policies, processes, systems, and team that enable Mercury to operate as a fully regulated insured depository institution.
You'll work at the intersection of technical accounting, regulatory compliance, and operational build-out. This isn't a role for someone who wants to maintain an existing function — it's for someone who wants to architect one and work closely with Engineering and Product.
