Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers and other cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver new ArcGIS Enterprise capabilities for self-managed Kubernetes clusters like Red Hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, and RKE2
- Research and test new features offered by Red Hat OpenShift, Tanzu, and RKE2
- Contribute to the design process for cloud-native microservices based software product
- Develop automated tests and drive quality assurance processes
- Plan, execute, and certify software releases
- Prioritize and triage software issues from customers
- Contribute to software documentarian, blog posts and conference presentations
- Share workflows via help topics, blog posts, conference presentations, tutorials, and samples
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing stateful and stateless applications in self-managed Kubernetes clusters
- Experience automating infrastructure and application provisioning using scripting and templating
- Familiarity with cloud-based Kubernetes services such as ROSA and/or ARO
- Background in software testing and/or software development
- Strong understanding of private cloud environments, Linux networking, and Kubernetes service meshes
- Experience working with RESTful APIs through scripting
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality software in cross-functional environments
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, math, GIS, geography, or related field
Recommended Qualifications

Esri’s ArcGIS World Geocoding solutions deliver global search and geocoding capabilities to organizations across the world. Search and geocoding are used in a wide range of applications across the ArcGIS platform such as where to open your retail store, how to best allocate resources for delivering packages, or where is, and how do I get to, my favorite coffee shop?
As a Spatial Data Engineer on the geocoding team, you will work with massive spatial data from both commercial and open sources. You’ll be asked to master data specifications, automate processes for acquiring and loading spatial datasets, transform those datasets into normalized data models, and work with product teams to ensure continuous quality improvements driven by the best available content.

Overview
Apply your analytical and communication skills to help our Software Products team design, build, and test software features in Esri’s Enterprise and SaaS (Software as a Service) reality mapping products including Site Scan for ArcGIS. This is an exciting opportunity to use your knowledge of photogrammetry and the drone mapping industry to prioritize user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Join the ArcGIS Pro Documentation team and help shape how users understand and apply the world’s leading desktop GIS software.
We’re looking for a technical writer who approaches content with precision and clarity, seeks to understand technical details, and thrives working with engineers, product managers, and others who build, deliver, and support Esri software and its user community.
In this role, you’ll create and maintain a wide range of user-facing content as well as some internal documentation. You’ll work closely with over 50 software development teams to gather technical details and translate them into content that helps users succeed.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit documentation for ArcGIS Pro, including:
- Conceptual and workflow documentation
- Tutorials
- Settings and configuration help
- What’s New content for each release
- Release notes
- Licensing information
- Test software features and collaborate with colleagues to understand functionality and write effective documentation
- Identify and report software issues to development teams, then verify fixes through testing
- Occasionally contribute to or review documentation for other Esri products, such as ArcGIS Drone2Map, AllSource, and Reality Studio (among others)
