As a Test Engineer, you’ll be responsible for transforming our surgical robot from an experimental medical device to a robust system capable of doing tens of thousands of surgeries. We’re looking for engineers with experience designing complex hardware systems, developing tests and fixtures to validate hardware, or debugging complex systems (or all three!). You will identify and resolve key reliability issues while designing and implementing test infrastructure to enhance the robot's engineering development and validation as well as the reliability of both the robot and its associated surgical tools. Job Description and Responsibilities:

As a part of the design team, the senior mechanical engineer will create and optimize facilities by bringing conceptual designs to life, producing cutting-edge detailed designs of HVAC, hydronic (chilled water and heating water), plumbing, and process utility systems that are fully integrated with facilities and manufacturing processes. Work includes design of new construction and upgrades and alterations to existing facilities and infrastructure. The Surgery & Robotics Hardware Team is looking for Electrical Engineers who want to advance the future of healthcare solutions with technology. At Neuralink we recognize that increasing healthcare costs, lack of access, and insufficient numbers of neurosurgeons globally require new approaches to enable greater access to our devices. To address these challenges we design fully autonomous robotics systems, human assistive surgical tools, and design entire surgical suites in order to provide better experiences for our customers.

Our team works on our surgical robot system which aims to fully automate the implantation of the Neuralink implant. We design and integrate multi-axis robotic arms, perception systems including custom imaging hardware, optical coherence tomography tissue imaging, power electronics, and safety systems such as 3D spatial mapping/object avoidance sensors. Robotics is part of a larger system of tools we work on. For example, using pre-op MRI scans we generate patient anatomy data that we later use in surgery to register precise surgery site locations. 

In addition to research and development of modern surgical technology, we also are responsible for bringing these technologies to market. We perform full lifecycle testing for all devices we design and ultimately manufacture them for use in human surgeries. To date, our designs have served over 20 individuals, and in the coming years our designs will serve thousands of individuals who wish to use our implant technology.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Field Service Engineer – RUPS Systems will specialize in rotary UPS power system distribution builds, mechanical and generator integration, system integration, start-ups, and preventative maintenance programs. This role requires advanced technical expertise, mechanical aptitude, leadership skills, and hands-on field experience with both electrical control systems and rotating equipment such as generators and flywheels. Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to delivering high-performance power solutions in data centers, hospitals, industrial facilities, and utility-scale environments are essential.

This is not a typical UPS engineer or technician role. In fact, a strong background in traditional static UPS systems may not be advantageous for this position. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience with mechanical systems, generators, and rotary equipment, and be comfortable commissioning complex power systems in the field. You will act as the front-line expert for bringing large-scale RUPS systems online, resolving technical issues, and training others. This role will also provide technical software and hardware troubleshooting support to the IEM customer base on-site throughout North America while performing start-ups, retrofits, or preventative maintenance. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional IEM teams to integrate current and new technologies, commission complex generator and RUPS systems, optimize existing power infrastructure, and ensure seamless operation across our power products as defined by the customer's RUPS design and sequence of operations (SOO). This role will serve as the point of contact for all field service personnel related to RUPS startup, generator support, preventative maintenance, 24-hour emergency response, and remote technical assistance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and perform on-site startup, commissioning, and preventative maintenance of RUPS systems, including generator integration, flywheel validation, and facility electrical infrastructure.
• Perform functional testing, load bank testing, system synchronization, and complete system validation to ensure all components meet performance specifications.

As we scale our operations, we need a hands-on engineer to secure the entire data lifecycle - from the industrial control systems (OT) at the edge, through the cloud telemetry pipeline, to the corporate dashboards.

This is a builder role. You will be responsible for deploying and managing our core security infrastructure - specifically Wazuh and Authentik - to secure our AWS environments and operational field assets. You will work directly with control systems engineers and DevOps teams to build security into our backbone.

Responsibilities will include: 

Cloud & Infrastructure Security

• Cloud Architecture: Secure the AWS infrastructure that hosts our energy management platforms. Implement hardening baselines and manage security groups for cloud resources
• SIEM & Observability (Wazuh): Architect a centralized and on-prem SIEM deployment to ingest logs from CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, and Linux servers. Configure custom decoders to detect threats across both cloud and on-prem environments
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Review and secure Terraform/CloudFormation scripts. Manage security configurations (including Wazuh agents and Authentik outposts) via Ansible or similar automation tools

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Unified IAM (Authentik): Architect Authentik as the central Identity Provider (IdP), enforcing MFA and SSO across cloud consoles, internal engineering tools, and Grafana dashboards

Operational Technology (OT) Security

• Network Segmentation: Design and implement IEC 62443-aligned network architectures (Purdue Model), strictly controlling traffic between the IT, Cloud, and OT zones

ICON is seeking a Senior Software/Data Engineer I to join our Data Intelligence & Systems Architecture (DISA) team. This engineer will play a foundational role in shaping, developing, and scaling ICON’s enterprise data platform within Palantir Foundry, owning the ingestion, modeling, and activation of data that powers reporting, decision-making, and intelligent automation across the company.

You will not just build pipelines. Instead, you will be architecting the Digital Twin of an industrial robotics and construction company. For example, if a new API integration is bringing in a type of data, design the pipeline to ingest that data and join it with relevant datasets for analytics. Provide input on what data transformations could happen in-flight vs. in Foundry to maximize efficiency.
• Tooling & Innovation: Contribute to developing internal tools or scripts to improve our data engineering workflow. This could include scripts for automating data deployments, custom plugins in Foundry, or using open-source frameworks (where applicable) to complement Foundry’s capabilities.
