About the team

Stripe’s Professional Services team works with our most strategic users. You will work on the highest visibility projects to provide technical expertise to our customers to help accelerate their knowledge, solution design and integrations with Stripe. What you’ll do

Responsibilities

• Plan integration engineering end-to-end, from high-level architecture down to code implementation. This includes conducting discovery sessions with users to understand their goals, parsing out specific use cases, and guiding users to implement high complexity integrations. 
• Think on your feet and communicate technical concepts, explaining how Stripe works from both a product feature and API architecture perspective. Manage user expectations on timelines and product changes.
• Be the primary, ongoing technical point of contact for our largest users' and partners' technical teams. You will be responsible for resolving user integration issues and owning escalations for operational issues and priority requests.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture and Implementation teams to drive client engagement, customer wins, and revenue on behalf of the Professional Services team
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to proactively identify potential enhancements and new features based on feedback you’ll gather from the field.
• Provide deep technical guidance and debugging, inspecting and understanding the Stripe codebase and thoroughly testing functionality to best advise users, while also building and demonstrating proof-of-concept integrations, creating user-specific test plans, and answering ad-hoc technical questions.
• Lead "Hands On Keyboard" implementations for user engagements, providing material feedback on coding practices, CI/CD, and software architecture, as well as supervising the work of our delivery partners.
• Review and optimize existing user integrations and provide recommendations to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Build tools and analytics; create dashboards, run queries, and generate custom data reports to support user business reviews and operational needs.
• Develop and share knowledge, building reusable processes to enable the larger Professional Services team.

Who you are

• 4 years + experience in a Software Engineering / Integration Engineering role.
• Ability to write code (in programming languages like Python, Go, Java, C/C++ etc.) and quickly debug user code snippets.

• Strong generalist technical experience, including proficiency in SQL and an understanding of data structures and algorithms.

About the Job

Staff Software Engineers lead the delivery of a variety of software integrated in to our products, acting as technical leads, extremely senior individual contributors, and/or as team leads that are also hands-on contributors. This includes autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control and decision support. About the Job

Senior Software Engineering Managers independently lead groups of teams to deliver a variety of software integrated in to our products. This includes autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control or decision support. We expect Senior Software Engineering Managers to demonstrate independent end-to-end outcome ownership of software for an integrated product family, and the teams responsible for building and maintaining it. Senior Software Engineering Managers contribute as a group lead to the rapid architecting, design, delivery, support, and evolution of next generation autonomous platforms through their entire product life-cycle.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with your Technical Lead and other managers to design and deliver on a multi-year, multi-stakeholder software roadmap that spans across multiple groups of teams and products
• Leverage internal product and program-specific engineering teams, and external third-parties, to rapidly deliver capability beyond the scope of current platforms, with a clear path for both architecture and capability evolution over time

Required Qualifications

Why This Role Matters

As a vital member of our Product & Tech Team, you will utilise your expertise to work within our ecosystem of applications, services and infrastructure using a combination of C#, Angular, Typescript, T-SQL and harness the multitude of services offered by AWS including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SES and SQS.

You’ll work with an AI-augmented engineering environment, leveraging agentic workflows, LLM-powered tools, and automation to accelerate development and expand product capabilities. We place a strong emphasis on deep technical understanding and ownership. You’re expected to understand, validate and take responsibility for what AI produces. In this role, you’ll also design and build AI-powered features and systems that deliver smarter, more adaptive user experiences.

Like all Engineering roles at ROLLER, this position follows a hybrid work model - 3 days per week in our office located in the Sydney CBD, with flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week. Many of our Engineers also choose to spend additional time in the office to collaborate and connect with the team in person.

What You'll Do

You will build elegant solutions with code to solve problems and contribute directly to the success of our customers by:

• Designing, building and maintaining secure, scalable, production-grade software across the stack.
• Leading integration-heavy initiatives (APIs, third party providers, complex workflows), including defining contracts, handling edge cases, and building robust failure models.
• Owning technical quality end-to-end: testing strategy, observability, performance, reliability, rollout safety, and incident response for your areas.
• Driving pragmatic engineering execution: breaking down ambiguous problems into incremental deliverables with a bias toward shipping and learning.
• Promoting quality through software craftsmanship, agile best practices, and continuous delivery/deployment techniques.
• You have hands-on experience using AI in coding/programming to drive greater impact.

About You

• Strong experience building and shipping full-stack software in a modern SaaS environment.
• Experience with C# .NET (web APIs) and designing/consuming APIs in distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in software development.
• Exposure to integration work: third-party systems, payments-like workflows, compliance/regulatory domains, or similarly complex ecosystems.
• Solid front-end fundamentals (Angular/TypeScript experience).
• Comfortable with SQL and data modelling.
• Strong engineering craft: clean design, testing, debugging, security mindset, and reliability.
• Curious, collaborative, and comfortable working with teammates distributed across time zones.

What you’ll do

• Architect Your Territory: Strategically prospect, build, and manage a high-conviction pipeline of new business and expansion opportunities to consistently exceed your revenue targets
• Champion Value-Based Selling: Masterfully conduct discovery calls to uncover deep-seated business pains and expertly articulate the tangible value and ROI of Miro to a diverse range of stakeholders, from practitioners to C-level executives
• Orchestrate Complex Deals: Execute multi-threaded sales campaigns, skillfully navigating procurement, security, and legal processes with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Drive Expansion: Partner with your existing customers to identify new use cases and expand Miro's footprint across new departments and lines of business, turning initial wins into enterprise-wide partnerships
• Collaborate to Win: Work in a tight-knit pod with your BDR, Solutions Engineer, and Customer Success Manager to deliver a world-class customer experience from first touch to renewal

What you’ll need

• 2+ years of quota-carrying, closing experience in a SaaS Account Executive role
• A Proven Track Record: You have a history of consistently meeting and exceeding your sales targets and are proud of your achievements
• Deep Curiosity & Strong Discovery Skills: You are a natural investigator who asks insightful questions and listens intently to understand the "why" behind a customer's challenges
• A Proactive Mindset: You are a self-starter with a high motor for activity. You don't wait for leads; you creatively and persistently build your own pipeline
• Operational Excellence: You have a defined process for managing your time, territory, and pipeline, and you are proficient with tools like Salesforce and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach)
• Coachability & a Hunger to Learn: You actively seek out feedback, are open to new ideas, and are constantly looking for ways to improve your craft
• Bonus Points for: Experience with MEDDPICC or other value-selling methodologies
