MongoDB is building a world-class team in North America to create tooling that helps customers migrate their data from legacy relational databases to MongoDB in real-time. We are looking for an experienced Staff Engineer with experience in the Java ecosystem, streaming systems, and data-intensive applications to join our team. We are building a sophisticated data migration suite using a modern technology stack, which includes Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Debezium, and React. A successful candidate will be a key contributor to our backend services, collaborating closely with product management and other engineers to design and implement cutting-edge products that solve complex customer challenges.

To build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to have open availability and are expected to work variable shifts including peak days and weekends. All employees without exception are expected to be able to work during the company’s Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (the 1st week of January).

You will collaborate closely with Operators, Engineers, and cross-functional teams based in Silicon Valley to ensure products are onboarded accurately, processes are clearly documented, and operational launch timelines stay on track.

Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering leadership experience in a Power Product Manufacturing Environment
Proven track record leading large engineering organizations (100+ engineers) in design-to-order or engineer-to-order environments
Deep understanding of electrical switchgear design, power distribution systems, and applicable industry standards
Proven track record in modernizing engineering design methods/tools, and transforming an organization in a growth environment
Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements, reducing design cycle times, and implementing engineering systems and tools. Experience with PLM, CAD, and engineering data management systems

About the Role
As a Housekeeper, you are the frontline of hospitality, directly impacting the guest experience through pristine home presentation. You will be responsible for executing high-quality cleans between stays, resetting homes to brand standards, and supporting laundry, staging, and supply restocks.
This part-time seasonal role starting in March and ending in September. This is a field-based role and is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, loves creating a welcoming environment, and is energized by fast-paced, physical work.

This is a highly physical, field-based role that involves cleaning, lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Work will take place inside vacation rental properties as well as outside around driveways, decks, and entryways. The ability to work independently and move quickly between homes is essential.
