As a SaaS Product Line Specialist Sales Engineer, you will provide technical direction and business guidance to the regional sales team. We are seeking a self-starter who will exceed sales quotas by driving innovative technical programs, pipeline generation alongside AEs, customer demonstrations, POCs, and overseeing day-to-day account-level activities. You will be responsible for evangelizing, positioning, and architecting Rubrik’s Data Resilience, Observability and Remediation tools to a targeted list of new & existing customers throughout the Western Region.

What You'll Do:

• Provides technical leadership and direction to Rubrik, customers, and prospects in the development and positioning Rubrik's SaaS solutions (M365, Google Workspace, Jira, Dynamics)
• Serves as a trusted technology advisor to customers and serves as a public cloud subject matter expert when positioning Rubrik's SaaS capabilities to key accounts.
• Leads technical sales calls, gathers / analyzes customer feedback, and identifies trends.
• Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
• Maintains a consistent cadence with product management to ensure product roadmap alignment with customer demands.
• Assists with the development of marketing and sales collateral to ensure alignment with customer needs and technical accuracy.
• Aids in the development and delivery of technical enablement to Rubrik, channel, and alliance partner sales architects.
• Cross-functionally drives the adoption of Rubik's cloud native protection technologies throughout Rubrik and the public cloud ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of sales engineering experience in an unstructured data environment with a proven track record of success
• Additional preference for experience with M365, Google Workspace, Dynamics, Jira and other SaaS applications
• Driven – need for success, highly energetic with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach.
• The successful candidate must have a fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude
• Strives in moving in a fast-paced environment; including handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up.
• A high level of business acumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges.

The Regional Sales Director for our Cloud Product Line Specialist team will have ownership of all elements of Cloud Native (Azure, AWS, GCP) data security products across the Central and Western Regions. This includes managing a team of AE’s toward discovering and developing new opportunities, managing pipeline, executing account strategies, managing customer expansion, evangelizing & enabling on the product message internally with our field team and externally with channel / strategic partners & interfacing with Rubrik's cross functional product, GTM & engineering reams. The RD will manage a team of sellers calling into Enterprise accounts within the region while working in unison with regional leaders in Sales Engineering, Sales Development, Channel Development and Rubrik Partners to exceed sales objectives. This position will manage all aspects of the sales process and will play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team.

What You’ll Do:

• Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Rubrik’s cloud position and opportunities across the territory.
• Manages and develops the team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and enablement of team members.
• Hands on approach and thought leadership into account strategies and focus
• Sells and promotes the introduction of Rubrik to Enterprise prospects and provides guidance to the team on strategy, sales process and CxO level selling.
• Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the region and a key member of the Enterprise Management team.
• Develops and execute a Focus plan to maximize revenue and growth across the region.
• Drives accurate team forecasting practice in line with management expectations.
• Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
• Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
• Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure region objectives are met.
• Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important.

Experience You’ll Need:

• 3+ years of experience in sales management and experience on working on cloud hyperscaler Infrastructure/Security Enterprise deals
• Relevant domain experience across backup, cloud and datacenter environments.
• Proven track record in a sales-driven organization, selling technology-related products and services
• Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Creative with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to work well as part of an extended sales team
• Knowledge of Rubrik’s specific domain area
• Experience with unstructured data is a plus

Rubrik is looking for a Sales Engineering Manager to lead a team of Cloud Specialist Sales Engineers and provide technical direction and business guidance to the regional sales teams across the Central and Western US. You will be accountable for regional revenue goals, recruiting and hiring top talent, enabling Sales Engineers to be best in business and by driving innovative technical programs and overseeing day-to-day account-level activities. You will be responsible for evangelizing, positioning, and architecting the industry's first hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for both existing customers and new accounts. 

What You’ll Do:

• Leads a team of Sales Engineers across the Americas region
• Responsible for recruiting, hiring and enabling top SE’s as we expand our coverage
• Provide Technical Leadership and direction to the Sales Teams in the Region to help them build technology solutions for our customers and prospective customers.
• Assists in the analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
• Demonstrates technical leadership and subject matter expertise on Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the Cloud and NAS product space.
• Acts as technical expert
• Makes technical and sales presentations to customer's technical staff and senior management.
• Serves as a trusted technology advisor to customers and serves as an internal resource on technical issues or specific business applications within an assigned market segment.
• Successfully builds relationships with the account team, partners and customers in support of sales team objectives and engages and leverages corporate resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate.

Experience You’ll Need:

• 3-5 years of sales engineering management experience preferably in a Cloud Infrastructure environments, working with AWS, Azure and GCP
• Driven – need for success, highly energetic with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach.
• The successful candidate must have a fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics.
