About the Role

As a Seasonal Hospitality Coordinator, you’ll serve as the on-the-ground expert responsible for keeping our homes functional, clean, and stocked (FCS) for every guest. You’ll perform inspections, restock supplies, prep for arrivals, complete light maintenance, and respond to in-market issues during and between stays.

This role is a combination of what many companies call a property caretaker and a runner and may at times include work more generally associated with that of a hotel front desk. You’ll be field-based, covering a subset of homes in your zone, and will report to the Team Lead, Hospitality Ops. Your work will directly impact guest satisfaction, review scores, and how well we care for our homeowners’ properties.

This role will begin within two weeks from offer and will end December 1st.  

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of homes before and after guest stays to ensure they meet brand standards; document inspections and reports issues via our task management systems
• Restock consumables and inventory supplies to maintain FCS readiness
• Leave hospitality touches such as gifts and welcome notes for arriving guests
• Handle basic maintenance tasks (e.g., lightbulb changes, TV resets, small repairs) and coordinate with the Maintenance team for larger issues
• Support turnovers with tasks like bedmaking, resetting decor, tidying, and removing trash
• Respond quickly to urgent in-stay needs or on-the-ground guest issues when dispatched
• Track supply usage and flag homes with unusual patterns or repeated problems
• Be a visible, professional presence in the field, supporting teammates and guests as needed including occasionally taking incoming phone calls/messages and making outbound calls/messages to guests and owners
• Support Hospitality Managers with dispatching of field tasks during non-peak times of day
• Primarily support the operations of your zone while being available to assist other zones as needed based on market need
• Other duties as assigned

Success Measures

• Guest satisfaction and review scores (portfolio average above 4.8)
• Number of inspections completed per shift/day
• Completion rate and accuracy for assigned tasks
• Responsiveness to urgent or in-stay issues
• Homes consistently meeting FCS standards as verified by market leadership

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Must be comfortable walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs
• Frequent travel within market and regular driving between properties is required
• Work is conducted primarily in-home, with some supply runs or warehouse coordination as needed
• Availability to frequently work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings (with 2 days off each week)

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in hospitality, property care, vacation rentals, or related field
• Detail-oriented and highly reliable
• Ability to follow checklists and brand standards consistently
• Physically capable of lifting 25+ lbs and walking/standing throughout the day
• Strong communication skills and service-minded attitude
• Comfort using mobile apps and task tracking tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted based on experience, skills, and interview performance.

The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position.  Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors.  Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper, you are the frontline of hospitality, directly impacting the guest experience through pristine home presentation. You will be responsible for executing high-quality cleans between stays, resetting homes to brand standards, and supporting laundry, staging, and supply restocks.

This part-time seasonal role starting in March and ending in September. This is a field-based role and is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, loves creating a welcoming environment, and is energized by fast-paced, physical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-service turnovers of vacation rental homes following standard operating procedures
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all surfaces and rooms, including kitchens and bathrooms
• Move and reset light furniture to access areas for cleaning
• Replace linens and towels and restock all consumables and guest amenities
• Stage and reset decor and hospitality touches according to property standards
• Remove all trash and debris from the home and property
• Identify and report any damages or missing items to your supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning supplies and linens in assigned locations
• Occasionally assist with laundry, linen transport, or deep clean days as needed

Work Environment
This is a highly physical, field-based role that involves cleaning, lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Work will take place inside vacation rental properties as well as outside around driveways, decks, and entryways. The ability to work independently and move quickly between homes is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

About the Role

As the Back of House Coordinator, you will be the administrative and logistical backbone of local STR operations. You’ll work closely with the Team Lead, Back of House to ensure inventory is managed, vendors are supported, and the field team is equipped to focus on our guests and owners in the field.

You will serve as the key point of coordination across multiple back-of-house functions — housekeeping, maintenance ticket flow, and warehousing — helping to keep the market running smoothly and ensuring guests and owners have a seamless experience.

This role is ideal for someone highly organized, responsive, and energized by fast-paced problem solving. This role is an hourly, non-exempt position. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing warehouse and storage space, keeping areas tidy and organized
• Track inventory usage and restock needs for consumables, linens, and key operating supplies both in central warehouses and satellite storage locations
• Coordinate delivery or retrieval of inventory and supplies to/from homes as needed
• Assist the Team Lead, Back of House with the management of housekeeping vendors and teams
• Support the Team Lead, Back of House and other market team members with the coordination and management of third party maintenance vendors as needed
• Log and report field activity data into our operational systems with accuracy and timeliness as needed
• Execute market-level projects which touch multiple zones/teams and are better handled by the Back of House team than a specific zone team, such as updating branded materials around the market
• Rotate between being warehouse-based and field-based as needed to support each day’s work
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in operations coordination, logistics, or hospitality support
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and responsive in fast-moving operational environments
• Comfortable working both in the field and in office/warehouse environments
• Tech savvy and experienced with mobile scheduling, task tools, or PMS platforms as well as Google Workspace

As a Hospitality Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional stays and satisfied owners within your assigned zone. You will be directly responsible for the stewardship of a subset of homes within your zone and the relationships with their owners, while at the same time adopting a team mentality to make sure the entire zone is operating well.

You’ll work alongside Hospitality Coordinators and report to the Team Lead, Hospitality Ops. Your primary focus will be on operational execution — making sure homes are functional, clean, and stocked (FCS), supporting guest readiness, resolving in-stay issues, and proactively maintaining owner satisfaction.

This is a field-based, people-first role ideal for someone who loves hospitality, problem-solving, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure homes under your stewardship are consistently FCS and guest-ready
• Directly manage a team of housekeepers, overseeing day-to-day operations including scheduling, task assignment, performance monitoring, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks, determining which responsibilities to handle directly and which to dispatch to Hospitality Coordinators for completion, such as inspections, restocks, and other hospitality touches across the zone

• Maintain property-level expertise by visiting homes regularly and anticipating guest or owner issues

• Stage and reset decor and hospitality touches according to property standards
• Remove all trash and debris from the home and property
• Identify and report any damages or missing items to your supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning supplies and linens in assigned locations
• Occasionally assist with laundry, linen transport, or deep clean days as needed

Work Environment
This is a highly physical, field-based role that involves cleaning, lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Work will take place inside vacation rental properties as well as outside around driveways, decks, and entryways. The ability to work independently and move quickly between homes is essential.

About the Role

As a Service Technician for short-term rentals, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our homes are functional, clean, and stocked (FCS), safe, and guest-ready. You’ll respond to urgent in-stay needs, perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance, and work closely with the Team Lead, Back of House and Back of House Coordinator to manage tasks, supplies, and vendor relationships.

This role requires a well-rounded maintenance skillset and a service mindset. You’ll be part of the local Back of House team and work across multiple homes within your assigned market.

• Complete preventative and routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC troubleshooting, appliance repair, light plumbing and electrical work, and basic cable/Wi-Fi resets
• Respond promptly to guest-reported issues during stays, resolving them quickly and professionally
• Support turnovers and readiness work, including light patching, assembly, and touch-ups
• Conduct property inspections to identify and document potential issues before they impact the guest experience
• Coordinate with the Back of House Coordinator on inventory, work orders, vendor support, and scheduling
• Communicate professionally with the Team Lead, Back of House and other local team members
• Ensure documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner for each job completed

About the Role

As the Team Lead, Hospitality Operations, you will serve as the day-to-day operational leader of your zone (~100–120 homes). Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll manage a team of Hospitality Operations Managers and Hospitality Coordinators to deliver a five-star guest experience, maintain homeowner satisfaction, and execute key operating standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in field operations, enjoys mentoring others, and knows how to drive performance without needing full ownership of sales or pricing strategy. • Manage all hospitality operations within your zone, overseeing 2–3 Hospitality Ops Managers and a team of Coordinators
• Directly own the relationship with owners for a subset of the homes in your zone, acting as those owners’ Hospitality Operations Manager directly; the number of homes you are directly responsible for will depend on zone dynamics, but the expectation is you would own a similar number of homes as your Hospitality Operations Managers do
• Set your team’s schedule within your zone to best support guests and owners in a sustainable way for the team
• Ensure homes across your zone are consistently functional, clean, and stocked (FCS)
• Lead the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and prompt resolution of in-stay issues
• Monitor and improve field team productivity, task completion, and inspection coverage
• Uphold standards for cleanliness, maintenance reporting, guest gifts, and hospitality touches
• Ensure timely and accurate supply stocking across homes in your portfolio
• Partner with the General Manager and central teams to align execution with market strategy and collaborate closely in-market with other zones and shared teams
• Act as an escalation point for owner or guest concerns not resolved at the coordinator/manager level
• Provide coaching and development to team members and support performance reviews
• Track and report on operational KPIs including review scores, churn risk, and supply usage

The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position.  Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors.  Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper, you are the frontline of hospitality, directly impacting the guest experience through pristine home presentation. You will be responsible for executing high-quality cleans between stays, resetting homes to brand standards, and supporting laundry, staging, and supply restocks.

This part-time, field-based role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, loves creating a welcoming environment, and is energized by fast-paced, physical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-service turnovers of vacation rental homes following standard operating procedures
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all surfaces and rooms, including kitchens and bathrooms
• Move and reset light furniture to access areas for cleaning
• Replace linens and towels and restock all consumables and guest amenities
• Stage and reset decor and hospitality touches according to property standards
• Remove all trash and debris from the home and property
• Identify and report any damages or missing items to your supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning supplies and linens in assigned locations
• Occasionally assist with laundry, linen transport, or deep clean days as needed

Work Environment
This is a highly physical, field-based role that involves cleaning, lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Work will take place inside vacation rental properties as well as outside around driveways, decks, and entryways. The ability to work independently and move quickly between homes is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to follow detailed checklists and work independently
• Physically able to perform cleaning duties including lifting 25+ lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to move between homes
• Comfortable using a smartphone or mobile app to log tasks and report issues
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays, as needed

Location – Rockaway Beach, OR (On-site)

Travel Required
Frequent local travel between homes

Compensation

• Piece rate ranging between $35 and $300 per unit
• $22.50-$23.50 per hour paid for non cleaning tasks
