We are seeking a strategic and investigative Data Analytics Team Lead to accelerate our journey from reporting to predictive and prescriptive intelligence - unlocking insights that improve patient outcomes, optimize clinic performance, and fuel enterprise growth. Someone who goes beyond the problem and is passionate about identifying and resolving the root case.
You will own Upstream’s enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategy, leading a high-impact team to deliver actionable intelligence across clinical, operational, financial, and patient experience domains. This is a player-coach role: you’ll architect solutions, mentor talent, and translate complex data into executive ready narratives - all while driving measurable ROI.
The successful candidate will have a thorough working knowledge and understanding of every aspect of Upstream's business operations. They will create dashboards and reports that transform raw data generated by various sources into actionable information that decision makers need to successfully perform their daily duties. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Data Analytics Team Lead will be responsible for:
Strategy & Vision
Define and execute a 3-year analytics roadmap aligned to revenue, cost, and quality KPIs
Design and deploy enterprise dashboards, predictive models, and automated insights using Microsoft Power BI + Fabric
Integrate data from EHR (RainTree), RCM, etc.
Own the full BI lifecycle: requirements → pipeline → visualization → storytelling → adoption
Implement real-time analytics (e.g., clinic capacity, no-show prediction) using Azure Data Lake + Synapse
Innovation & Experimentation
Pilot GenAI use cases (e.g., automated narrative reporting, patient summary generation)
Explore data mesh architecture for clinic-level autonomy with enterprise governance Performing other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
8+ years in data analytics, BI, or AI strategy (healthcare or multi-site operations preferred)
Expert in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Row-Level Security, AI visuals, performance tuning)
Advanced SQL; proficient in Python (ex: pandas, scikit-learn) or R
Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows, Lakehouse, Real-Time Intelligence)
Experience with data integration (APIs, ETL/ELT, dbt), data lakes, and real-time pipelines
Proven ability to influence executives and train non-technical users

In accordance with the applicable state laws, rules and regulations, the licensed athletic trainer provides athletic training services to local schools, community events and or organized sports.
Provides athletic training services in accordance with established contracts.

The Role:
Join Upstream Rehabilitation where your work makes a real impact! As a Human Resources Associate Relations Partner, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders within your assigned region, providing guidance on associate relations, employment policies and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you’ll support leaders on moderately complex employee relation matters, offer clear interpretation of policies and practices, and partner with legal resources as needed to ensure alignment with state and federal employment laws, all while advancing Upstream’s mission, vision, and values.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as a primary Associate Relations partner, advising leaders on performance management, corrective action, policy interpretation, and employee concerns.
Coach and counsel leaders on effective associate management practices, including performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
Investigate and resolve moderately to highly complex associate relations matters (e.g., performance issues, policy violations, harassment, discrimination), recommending appropriate and compliant courses of action.
Partner closely with HR Business Partners, operational leaders, and legal counsel to ensure consistent, fair, and legally sound outcomes.
Provide guidance on federal and state employment laws, helping leaders navigate compliance with confidence.
Support a safe, respectful, and compliant workplace by promoting best practices, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
Contribute to associate relations training, policy updates, and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
High school diploma or GED.
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 2 years focused on Associate Relations.
Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, corrective action, and federal and state employment laws.
Demonstrated ability to coach and advise leaders on complex associate relations issues using sound judgment and discretion.
Ability to assess risk, analyze situations, and provide clear, practical recommendations aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive matters.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar business tools.
Ability to travel up to 50%, as business needs require.
Nice to Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP certification (or willingness to obtain within one year).
Experience supporting Associate Relations in a multi‑state or fast‑paced organization.
Experience partnering with Legal and HR Business Partners on complex employee relations matters.

Maintain the treatment rooms and common areas in a neat professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and sterilization.
Excellent attendance and reliable transportation required.
Confer with patients about their medical histories and problems with stress and pain to determine how massage will be most helpful. Educate patients and develop appropriate treatment plans, postural improvement, stretching, muscle health, and relaxation.

Develop personalized, evidence-based care plans for your patients

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
