WE’RE HIRING! If you love data and are looking for unlimited growth opportunities, we want to talk with you about joining Further.
Further is a data, cloud, and AI company whose focus is helping companies turn raw data into the right decisions. We have an award winning culture of extraordinary people. Our purpose is to enable people to thrive so that businesses can thrive. We believe that the work you do should matter - it should be meaningful to you professionally and personally, and it should have a positive impact on both you and our clients. If this sounds exciting to you, let’s chat!
You are the engineer clients trust to move their infrastructure to GCP without drama. No data loss, no unplanned downtime, no surprises. You've done this before at production depth — not as a supporting player, but as the person who owned the outcome.Half your work is technical: designing the migration architecture, writing the Terraform that makes it repeatable, and executing the cutover with the discipline that comes from having seen what goes wrong. The other half is client-facing: translating messy real-world infrastructure (legacy systems, undocumented dependencies, nervous stakeholders) into a migration plan that the client can understand and the build team can execute. You use AI to work more efficiently. You don't use it as a substitute for knowing what you're doing. You will sit in our headquarters in Dallas, TX on a hybrid schedule. The team is in office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
What experience should you have:
Nice to have
What you’ll be doing in this role:
Our total rewards program is designed for your protection, peace of mind, and overall well-being. You are the architectural conscience of the platform and the technical translator at the front of every client engagement. Half your week is inside the product — reviewing ADRs, holding integration patterns coherent, and partnering with the data architect and senior dev to keep the architecture honest. The other half is in front of clients — taking real operational complexity and turning it into platform configurations the system can actually execute. You are not a slide architect. You write decisions down, defend them with reasons, and change them when the reasons change. This role only works if you genuinely enjoy both sides. The leverage is in the loop between them — what we learn in deployments shapes the platform, and what the platform enforces shapes how we deploy. You will sit in our headquarters in Dallas, TX on a hybrid schedule. The team is in office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Cleveland, OH | Hybrid | Full-Time
WE’RE HIRING! Most HR roles ask you to maintain the machine. This one asks you to help build it.
Further is a data, cloud, and AI company that helps organizations turn raw data into decisions that actually matter. Our clients include Verizon, the American Cancer Society, Behr Paint, and others — and our People team is the engine behind the talent and culture that makes that work possible.
We're looking for a People Experience Lead who's equally running a full-cycle recruiting search and managing HR operations — someone who genuinely wants both halves of this job.
On the recruiting side:
On the People Operations side:
Further is a collaborative, mission-driven company — but we move fast, and we expect people to take initiative. Our People & Culture team is intentionally small, which means your work has a direct impact on how the company grows and how people experience it every day.
You'll be supported by the Head of People & Culture and a junior team member, which means your time goes toward the high-judgment, high-impact stuff. If you've thrived in a larger org but are ready to trade structure for ownership — this is that role.
What won't work here: needing to be told what to do, defaulting to process when the situation calls for judgement, or waiting for someone else to notice a problem.
Why Us
Sound like you? We'd like to hear from you.
We’re located in the Flats East Bank in Cleveland. This role is hybrid — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday required in office. We do not offer sponsorship for this role.
