Overview:

As a Shift Lead, you will play a key role in leading daily operations and ensuring every guest has a positive and enjoyable customer experience. You’ll guide and support the retail team through active floor leadership, setting the tone for exceptional customer service, accuracy, and teamwork. From overseeing transactions and compliance procedures to coaching team members and maintaining store standards, you’ll help create a smooth and successful operation within the store.

Pay:

$18.00/hour, plus tips

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a resource for questions or issues from staff and customers.  
• Oversee onboarding for all new retail associates.
• Assists with tracking of daily and monthly inventory.  
• Assist with restocking the sales floor with cannabis and non-cannabis products. 
• Open and close the store as needed. 
• Assist the Management team.
• Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards. 
• Develop and maintain rapport with our customers, vendors, service providers and staff. 
• Recommend, select, and help locate the proper product for customers, depending on their individual needs.
• Explain the effects of different types of cannabis to customers and patients clearly and effectively. 
• Ensure strict controls to protect organizational assets at the direction of management. 
• Set up and break down display cases per company standard. 
• Ensure phone calls and online orders are addressed in a timely manner. 
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization. 
• Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect. 
• Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. 
• Perform other related work as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
• 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a retail, hospitality, or cannabis environment.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Marijuana knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be over 21 years of age.

Overview:

The Cultivation Associate supports all aspects of the plant growth cycle to ensure healthy, high-quality cannabis production. This role works hands-on in the grow rooms performing daily tasks such as transplanting, pruning, watering, pest monitoring, and harvesting. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, consistency in following standard operating procedures (SOPs), and a passion for plant care.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing assigned tasks, projects, and expectations of the cultivation department in accordance with our standard operating procedures.
• Attending to a large-scale commercial cultivation facility.
• Working to maintain the health of plants by feeding, pruning and caring for the plants.
• Regularly check and respond to email communication and training requirements.
• Working collectively and respectfully with other cultivation team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of executed tasks.
• Maintain a level of cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
• Follow EPA & MSDS regulations for mixing and applying nutrients and pesticides
• Ensure no product leaves the facility without going through proper channels.
• Adherence to all regulatory, safety and corporate requirements. 
• Ensure consistent quality.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development, as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience or knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture desirable.

• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain all state-required cannabis badging, which requires pre-employment background check.
• Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID card.

Overview:

The Inventory Manager is responsible for the daily operations of inventory control, focusing on executing inventory-related tasks, supervising Inventory Associates, and maintaining a highly organized supply of inventory in both the back-of-house and front-of-house areas. The Manager ensures that procedures are followed and that products are stored and handled correctly, maintaining quality and compliance. Additionally, the Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing inventory turnover and assists retail management in optimizing inventory processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Inventory Supervisors and Associates and delegate tasks.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels using inventory management software such as Dutchie, Lucid ID, and where applicable Metrc.
• Oversee the receiving of new shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Tag and label inventory and update system records.
• Conduct and supervise daily inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain organization and storage protocols.
• Address and resolve any inventory discrepancies immediately.
• Support the sales floor through restocking of inventory and breaking currency denominations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
• Maintain the location specific inventory in the system and in their physical locations.
• Generate and review inventory reports.
• Coordinate with buyers to place orders to replenish stock.
• Analyze sales data to forecast inventory needs.
• Lead staff training sessions on inventory procedures.
• Review and update inventory processes and policies as needed.
• Manage the monthly overnight inventory audit, all associated reporting, follow-up investigations, and adjustments, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all inventories. This task is critical for maintaining up-to-date and precise inventory records.

• 3+ years of inventory management experience, with a preference for prior cannabis industry experience.

Overview:

The Assistant General Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for developing a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-line sales growth. This person will lead and support the staff with customer service, sales training, product knowledge, leadership development, inventory controls, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the General Manager to plan and implement sales strategies to drive positive sales growth within the dispensary.
• Maintaining strong inventory controls and making sure that the store is upholding compliance standards.
• Coaching, training, and developing staff, making sure they are aligned with the company's goals and vision.
• Partnering with the General Manager to help create, monitor, and track the store's KPIs, and leveraging data to help drive decisions around labor costs, sales strategies, and training opportunities.
• Helping to hire, train and onboard new staff within the dispensary.
• Assisting with the store's day-to-day operations and partnering with other internal teams, such as marketing, retail operations, and supply chain.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred.

The Inventory Associate is responsible for assisting with the receipt, processing, and organization of inventory at the cannabis retail store. Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3+ years of direct experience in intercompany accounting, eliminations, and consolidations
• Manufacturing and/or Retail industry experience highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

Overview:

As a Shift Lead, you will play a key role in leading daily operations and ensuring every guest has a positive and enjoyable customer experience. You’ll guide and support the retail team through active floor leadership, setting the tone for exceptional customer service, accuracy, and teamwork. The Inventory Associate is responsible for assisting with the receipt, processing, and organization of inventory at the cannabis retail store. This role includes ensuring products are received and logged correctly, assisting with daily counts, and maintaining the organization of all inventory storage areas. Associates are also expected to support all inventory best practices as laid out by the inventory Manager, emphasizing accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all inventory-related activities.  The Associate must follow all compliance guidelines and help maintain an accurate account of all products. Associates are encouraged to show initiative in daily activities without supervisor prompting once trained, contributing to a proactive and efficient inventory management process.

Responsibilities:

Overview:

The Vice President of Marketing will develop and drive Story’s marketing strategies, establish plans, targets, and deliverables, and lead the marketing team to execute across all channels. This role will work collaboratively with key cross-functional partners across multiple markets to establish and oversee the execution of the brand strategy, expanding our overall customer reach.

Responsibilities:

• Create, implement, and monitor marketing strategies to improve brand awareness for the Story Corporate brand and Story’s house of brands.
• Develop cohesive marketing plans that support business initiatives while ensuring the brand has a focused, holistic message across marketing channels while increasing brand awareness and overall revenue.
• Lead the creation of brand marketing content/collateral that promotes a consistent voice across our retail and wholesale business.
• Oversee and improve marketing campaigns, such as social media and email campaigns
• Manage national marketing budget, ensuring initiatives are appropriately measured and reported on.
• Oversee resource allocation and management within the marketing team.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and the media to implement public relations strategies.
• Report on market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and data findings to understand our customer base to support our marketing strategy.
• Provide executive leadership with regular reporting to demonstrate performance against established KPI’s.
