About the Role:
The Senior Product Marketing Manager is a strategic leader and key driver of Billtrust’s go-to-market success. You will bring deep expertise in B2B product marketing to develop and execute sophisticated GTM strategies, elevate our market positioning, and and collaborate with and elevate junior team members. In this senior role, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy and cross-functional influence—partnering closely with Product Management, Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Creative Services to shape how Billtrust solutions are positioned, launched, and adopted across the market.
This role sits at the intersection of market strategy and product storytelling. You will serve as the organization’s subject matter expert on Billtrust’s value propositions and competitive landscape, build a repeatable framework for GTM excellence, and set the standard for how the Marketing function operates. Reporting into senior Marketing leadership, you will own campaign performance, shape how Billtrust is
perceived as a market leader, and drive measurable outcomes across awareness, engagement, and product adoption.
What You'll do:
Theme 1: GTM Strategy & Product Positioning
Lead the development of clear, compelling, and differentiated product messaging, positioning, and proof points grounded in deep customer, vertical, and global market insights—setting the standard for the broader marketing team.
Serve as the organization’s foremost subject matter expert (SME) on Billtrust’s value propositions, core capabilities, competitive landscape, and target buyer personas, translating complex insights into actionable marketing strategy.
Architect and execute comprehensive marketing plans that accelerate market awareness, customer engagement, and product adoption across key segments and verticals.
Own the end-to-end execution of GTM initiatives for major product launches and updates, orchestrating alignment across the customer lifecycle in close partnership with Revenue Marketing and Product Management.

Theme 2: Thought Leadership & Sales Enablement
Drive Billtrust’s thought leadership strategy, producing high-impact content across multiple formats—including webinars, whitepapers, website, video series, and event programming—to build brand authority and market presence.
Define and lead the sales enablement strategy by developing and maintaining a best-in-class suite of sales tools (pitch decks, solution guides, competitive battlecards, FAQs, ROI calculators) that accelerate the sales cycle and communicate the vision and value of Billtrust products.
Synthesize market, competitive, and customer insights to proactively influence the product roadmap, ensuring a consistent and compelling customer experience in close collaboration with Product Management.

Theme 3: Team Development & Cross-Functional Leadership
Mentor and provide strategic guidance to junior product marketing team members, fostering skill development and elevating overall team output.

Required Skills:
6–9 years of experience in B2B product marketing in SaaS, with required background in fintech, payments, or accounts receivable software
Proven track record of independently owning and executing full-cycle GTM strategies for complex B2B products, with measurable impact on pipeline and revenue.
Exceptional communicator—able to translate intricate product capabilities into compelling narratives for diverse audiences including C-suite, sales teams, and customers.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority across Sales, Product, and Marketing stakeholders.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize market, competitive, and customer data into strategic recommendations.

The Product organization at Signifyd leads the vision, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio. At Signifyd, product leadership and business outcomes are inseparable. The Senior Director, Product – AI Performance & Risk owns the two metrics that define the company’s success: loss rates and conversion.
Signifyd guarantees every approved order. When fraud occurs, the company pays for it. That means the performance of our AI systems directly determines our business economics.
This leader owns the product engine behind those decisions. You will lead the product organization responsible for the models, data systems, and decisioning infrastructure that determine whether billions of dollars in ecommerce transactions are approved or declined.
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will partner closely with the CTO, Chief Risk Officer, and CEO to drive Signifyd’s next phase of AI performance and product innovation.
You will lead a team of senior product managers and work closely with engineering, data science, and risk teams to continuously improve the systems that power Signifyd’s real-time decisions.
This role is accountable for three outcomes that directly determine Signifyd’s business performance.
Signifyd guarantees every approved order. Loss rate is therefore not just a metric; it represents real dollars paid out when fraud occurs.
You will own the models and risk decisioning systems responsible for maintaining industry-leading performance while scaling across billions of dollars of merchant GMV.
Conversion rate is the primary metric enterprise merchants care about. Improving conversions while maintaining strong loss performance is one of the most powerful levers in ecommerce.
Improving conversion requires improving decision quality across the full stack, including Authorization Rate Optimization (ARO) at the issuer and bank layer where many false declines originate.
Signifyd’s current modeling foundation has delivered strong results at global scale.
The next phase requires deploying new modeling architectures capable of leveraging our commerce identity network of 90+ billion identities with the depth of data across the entire customer journey.
The standard is production systems that deliver measurable improvements in loss rates and conversion.
You will lead a team of Product Managers who drive product strategy and execution across five core systems that together power Signifyd’s AI decisioning platform.
SAIL is Signifyd’s AI research and modeling organization. It develops and evaluates new model architectures and prepares them for production deployment.
You will help set the research agenda and ensure a tight loop between modeling innovation and commercial impact.
The Risk Platform is Signifyd’s real-time decisioning engine, executing approve/decline decisions in under 500 milliseconds.
You will drive the product roadmap that enables the platform to support increasingly sophisticated models while maintaining the speed and reliability enterprise merchants require.
The feature system transforms raw network data into signals used by production models.
With more than 10,000 features in production, the coverage, freshness, and quality of this layer directly determines the ceiling of model performance.
You will drive the expansion and improvement of this system.
The performance of every model depends on the quality and availability of data.
You will guide the evolution of the systems that ingest, process, store, and serve the data that powers Signifyd’s identity network and decisioning models.
ARO improves approval rates at the issuer and bank layer, where many transactions are declined before merchants ever see them.
You will lead product strategy for ARO, working across payment networks, merchant integrations, and internal data capabilities to unlock additional conversion for merchants.

In the United States, each work location is assigned a specific pay zone, which determines the salary range for a given position. The starting base salary for the selected candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and current market conditions.
Base Salary Ranges by Pay Zone:
Equity: This role is eligible for a stock option grant of 15,000 stock options, based on the position level and internal compensation guidelines.
Bonus: This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus of up to 20% of base salary.
