What you'll do

• Contribute to our application security program. Work with our SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling, triage and prioritize vulnerabilities, and partner with engineering teams to drive remediation. Participate in threat modeling and secure design reviews on new products and services.
• Share incident response on-call. Investigate, contain, and resolve security incidents alongside the rest of the team. Help refine our runbooks, detection coverage, and post-incident process.
• Help harden our cloud and Kubernetes environment. Contribute to security posture across GCP and GKE: IAM and least-privilege, secrets management, container and supply chain security, and IaC guardrails (Terraform).
• Build detections and security automation. Engineer high-signal detections from cloud, identity, and application telemetry. Automate the toil of vuln triage, access reviews, SaaS posture, questionnaire workflows so the team scales.
• Streamline customer security work. Help respond to customer security questionnaires and audits, and build internal tooling and a knowledge base so this scales as deal volume grows.
• Strengthen business continuity and DR. Help assess threats to continuity, contribute to DR plans, and run real exercises against them.

Who We Hope You Have: 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure and automation.

Technical Deep-Dive Session:

• For concept deep-dives, mentors will come prepared with a slide presentation that reviews a Nanodegree concept in more detail, share different use-cases for the concept to broaden student perspectives and understanding, and hold a Q&A session with the learners.
• For project walkthroughs, a mentor will come prepared with a slide presentation that outlines each element of the rubric to help learners understand expectations and typical problem areas they may encounter. This can include a mentor “grading” a sample submission to demonstrate what mentors are looking for when reviewing projects.

Group Q&A Session:

• Host regular sessions (via Slack or video) to address learner queries related to projects and coursework. No prior preparation required.

DV Trading is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, buildout, and operation of firm-wide cloud infrastructure supporting all trading desks and research platforms. This role owns core shared cloud capabilities across the firm while also providing specialized infrastructure support to the crypto desk. It requires deep expertise in cloud networking, distributed systems, and infrastructure placement, with strong engineering judgment in environments where latency, operational risk, and security posture directly impact PnL. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Firm-Wide Cloud Platform
  • Own the architecture and operation of cloud infrastructure supporting latency-sensitive trading systems across all desks.
  • Design VPC and network topologies with explicit routing, isolation, and traffic control; partner with the network team to build a robust, highly available, and latency-optimized global network, including Direct Connect to DV office locations and hybrid connectivity across cloud providers (Cloud Interconnect, VPN, Transit Gateway).

An overview of this role

As a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer at GitLab, you will work at the intersection of customer outcomes, product direction, and hands-on engineering. This role is focused on strategic accounts in the AMER region, where you will help customers adopt GitLab and the GitLab Duo Agent Platform in complex enterprise environments, including self-managed, regulated, and constrained deployments. You will guide deep technical discovery, design practical adoption paths, and build reusable solutions that help customers move from early platform use into broader CI/CD, security, compliance, and AI-enabled workflows.

This is not a traditional consulting role centered on one-off delivery. Instead, you will use customer issues to create durable technical assets, shape architecture patterns, and influence upstream product and engineering decisions when field needs point to a broader solution. About the team

The Staff Forward Deployed Engineer works closely with teams across Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, product, and engineering to solve hard adoption problems in enterprise customer environments. About the role 

We are seeking someone to lead, architect and develop features for our Risk Cloud platform. This role requires a deep understanding of business and engineering goals, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve them. You will be protecting against state actors, insider threats, and countless numbers of LLM agents. The scope includes every single chain we integrate. Think defence in depth, but the depth must cover things like 13-block reorgs of Litecoin or margin trading engine exploits in a partner protocol.

End-to-end security posture
Define and operate security across NEAR Intents and NEAR One — including identity, cloud (AWS/GCP), endpoints, application security, and SecOps — within a crypto-native model where smart contract risk, on-chain monitoring, key management, and validator/infrastructure security are first-class concerns.

Smart contract and protocol security
Establish security standards, audit strategy, and release gating for production deployments. Own how code moves from development to mainnet.

Incident response
Lead ecosystem-wide response across both traditional infrastructure and on-chain events — preparation, detection, containment, and recovery. When incidents happen, you are the point of coordination and decision-making.

Key management and asset security
Design and oversee key management architecture across protocol, treasury, and operational environments, including MPC, custody models, and access controls.

Offensive security
Define and run a continuous testing strategy — internal security testing, external audits, red teaming, and bug bounty programs.

Team and tooling
Build a lean, high-leverage security function from the ground up. Decide where commercial tooling is required and where open-source or in-house approaches are more effective.

• A proven security leader from an environment where getting it wrong was not an option — a major on-chain protocol, a top-tier exchange or custodian, critical infrastructure, or a peer ecosystem operating at serious scale. You've built programs, not just maintained them.

An overview of this role

As a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer at GitLab, you will work at the intersection of customer outcomes, product direction, and hands-on engineering. This role is focused on strategic accounts, where you will help customers adopt GitLab and the GitLab Duo Agent Platform in complex enterprise environments, including self-managed, regulated, and constrained deployments. You will guide deep technical discovery, design practical adoption paths, and build reusable solutions that help customers move from early platform use into broader CI/CD, security, compliance, and AI-enabled workflows.

This is not a traditional consulting role centered on one-off delivery. Position Summary

A Glimpse into the Daily Routine of a Cloud Migration Engineer

As an Effectual Cloud Migration Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing cloud migration projects on the AWS platform. You will leverage your expertise in AWS migration tools and methodologies to ensure successful and efficient migrations for our clients. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to customer engineers as they begin to adopt AWS services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a technical specialist
• 4-7 years of experience developing AWS cloud infrastructure

• Solid experience planning and executing cloud migration projects, preferably on the AWS platform, including Mobilize (wave planning) and Migrate phases of an AWS Migration.

They partner with Engagement Managers (EMs) to deliver an exceptional experience for customers and the delivery team. Cloud Architects lead delivery teams. On a given day, you may be asked to:

• Design and document a system on AWS to meet customer requirements.

The anticipated base salary range for the role is $125,000 - $165,000 per year + variable + equity + benefits. The ideal candidate will design, secure, and optimize the operational systems that enable scalable, high-performance applications. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about automation, system ownership, and creating resilient infrastructure solutions from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for high-throughput, low-latency applications (mainly AWS, with flexibility for multi-cloud environments)
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for efficient, reliable, and consistent deployment processes (GitHub Actions and similar tools)
