Role Overview
Legend Biotech seeks a highly experienced and scientifically driven Principal Scientist to join the Vector Biology Upstream team in Philadelphia, with a strategic focus on early process development and the establishment of a manufacturable lentiviral vector (LVV) platform in support of in-vivo CAR-T programs. This senior individual contributor role will serve as a scientific cornerstone within R&D, leading the early-stage definition, interrogation, and optimization of upstream LVV processes from molecular construct design through scalable bioreactor manufacturing with the deliberate intent of building a robust, developable process foundation that can be advanced into late-stage development and commercialization. The Principal Scientist will bring a rare combination of molecular biology depth and bioprocess engineering breadth, functioning as a key technical authority who bridges construct-level design decisions with upstream process outcomes, while closely interfacing with Downstream, Analytical, and Technical Development partners to ensure end-to-end process coherence and readiness for technology transfer.

Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $225,000 - 275,000 + annual bonus opportunity.
Our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together, which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.
For certain roles, we also hire from hub locations—regions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home, we bring them together in person at least once a year for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.

The base salary range for this role is $139,000 to $204,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We need a Managing Director of Technology to own the technical side of the house as we scale Human Agency. Lead technical delivery for enterprise clients. You’re the most senior technical person in the room on our biggest engagements. You decide what’s feasible, design the architecture, and make sure it ships. When a client executive asks “can we do this?” — you’re the one who answers.
Build how we deliver, not just what we deliver. One client engagement works because of talented people and brute effort. Ten engagements work because of systems. You design the repeatable model — how we scope, staff, build, and deploy — so the team can run engagements without you in every meeting. That means building discovery frameworks, reference architectures, deployment templates, and evaluation routines that actually get used.
Hire and develop the engineering team. You set the bar, own the pipeline, and make the calls on who joins. We need people who can build with high autonomy in ambiguous environments, and you know how to find them. Own platform and infrastructure decisions. Build vs. buy, tooling, deployment, security — you make the calls. A Principal Engineer handles day-to-day infrastructure execution; you set priorities and architectural direction.

You have real opinions on LLM orchestration, RAG, agents, evaluation, and fine-tuning — formed by building things, not reading about them. Position Overview
The Specialist, Information System Security III (SISS3) will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Department 40 as contractor staff through Arlo Solutions. This key personnel position provides senior-level cybersecurity expertise and technical execution in support of Propulsion, Power & Auxiliary Machinery Systems Cybersecurity requirements, with specific focus on Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle activities, Assessment & Authorization (A&A), and ongoing compliance and assurance across Navy afloat and ashore environments. The SISS3 is responsible for the development, validation, implementation, and continuous monitoring of cybersecurity controls in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Navy (DON), and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) policy.
Work Location: Primary: Philadelphia, PA; periodic travel to customer and operational sites may be required
