KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Support & Incident Resolution

• Serve as the first point of contact (Tier 1/) for all IT support requests submitted via phone, email, or ticketing system.

• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff with thorough documentation of troubleshooting steps taken.

Ticketing & Documentation

• Create, manage, track, and close help desk tickets using the organization's ITSM platform (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent).
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of all incidents, service requests, and resolutions.
• Contribute to and maintain the internal IT knowledge base and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Systems & Account Management

• Assist with user account and device provisioning, modifications, and deprovisioning in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective.
• Perform software installations, updates, patches, and configuration on end-user devices.
• Assist in managing hardware inventory including laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals.

Security & Compliance Awareness

• Follow and enforce IT security policies in alignment with government contracting requirements.
• Assist with basic cybersecurity tasks including password resets, MFA enrollment, and phishing incident reporting.
• Support compliance efforts related to frameworks such as NIST 800-171 or CMMC as directed.

Customer Service & Communication

• Deliver high-quality, professional customer service to all end users — including federal client personnel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of experience in an IT help desk, technical support, or desktop support role.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience using or willingness to learn ticketing and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshdesk, or equivalent).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues.

This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a high-volume environment and can own the full lifecycle of proposals, from opportunity identification through final submission. The ideal candidate is a strong federal proposal generalist who can think strategically, write persuasively, manage compliance independently, and submit timely, high-quality responses.

Responsibilities and/or Success Factors: 

• Own the full proposal lifecycle from solicitation review through final submission, with minimal supervision. Analyze solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, task orders) to ensure full compliance with instructions, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements.

The Narcotics and Transnational Crime Support Center (NTC) provide tailored intelligence and operational analytic support to U.S. and interagency partners combating drug trafficking and transnational organized crime (TOC) networks. The CD/TOC Network Analyst’s role is to synthesize law enforcement, intelligence, and open-source data to illuminate, disrupt, and support the dismantling of priority threat networks that endanger U.S. national security and public safety. The CD/TOC Network Analyst will focus on geographic or functional target sets as required (i.e., narcotics trafficking, terrorism, money laundering, cryptocurrency, weapons trafficking, Dark Net/cyber enabled threats, and other transnational organized crime) and will fuse large amounts of all-source intelligence and law enforcement agency (LEA) data into actionable intelligence products that support tactical and operational efforts for LE and IA mission partners.

This position involves providing analysis, developing policy recommendations, and ensuring compliance with statutory and policy requirements for sensitive activities within the Department of War.

Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors

Analysis and Strategy Support:

• Provide analysis of intelligence-related activities against the National War Strategy and the priorities of the Secretary of War and USW(I&S).
• Conduct research and develop policy recommendations to support the Secretary of Defense, USW(I&S), and other senior officials for decisions involving National Security Council directed requirements.

Oversight and Governance:

• Assist leadership in conducting oversight and governance, including staff assistance visits and compliance inspections, for DoW Component activities providing sensitive support to ensure statutory and policy compliance and requisite degrees of effectiveness.

Coordination and Integration:

• Research, coordinate, and synchronize special access capabilities and other sensitive activities to provide enhanced operational integration and collaboration across DoW, the Intelligence Community, and broader federal interagency enterprise.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare reports, briefings, senior-level correspondence, and staff action packages to support OUSW(I&S) requirements.

Education and Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting sensitive activities and national security requirements within the DoW or Intelligence Community.
• Experience in mission integration on a military or interagency staff is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment and manage multiple priorities.
