At Klaviyo, the Sales team prides themselves on being marketing and product experts. While most companies hire pre sales Solutions Engineer to just give demos, fill out questionnaires, and only explain setups, that makes us yawn. As a pre sales Solution Engineer for our Enterprise Sales team, you will be responsible for facilitating long term, deep relationships with the prospects to help drive our market-leading position in the owned marketing space.
So what do we do as Solution Engineers? We work directly with our prospective and existing customers to build technical champions, and help envision how Klaviyo could be used and integrated within our prospects’ and customers' tech stacks. We dive deep, take a consultant-first mindset, and develop solutions that ensure long term success for our customers. We use these engagements as an opportunity to learn, prototype, and ship meaningful improvements to the Klaviyo experience. We are starting small but have big plans for Klaviyo in APAC. Our Sydney team began to take shape throughout 2022 and has now built out our go to market teams in sales, customer success, partnerships, marketing, recruiting and product support. As the team grows we will see a continued expansion of Klaviyo’s customer base and the building of a fantastic working culture in line with what we see elsewhere in Klaviyo but with its own local identity within our Sydney based team. In partnership with SBI Group, we are building a next-generation decentralized exchange (DEX) aimed at bringing the majority of Japanese equities on-chain. Our goal is to create a secure, transparent, and high-performance trading infrastructure capable of supporting institutional volumes while remaining accessible to retail participants. The platform features a fully on-chain order book and is powered by a custom state transition function and consensus layer, purpose-built for low-latency, high-throughput trading.
As the Senior QA Engineer, you will be the quality champion for this system and cover core trading flows, order book behavior, matching logic, and backend services powering execution. As the first senior-level QA on the team, you will own the end-to-end quality strategy with a strong emphasis on automation, ensuring the correctness, reliability, and performance of both API and E2E layers under real-world trading conditions.
This is a hands-on role focused on building robust E2E and API test coverage, not manual testing.
Quality strategy & process: Define and evolve QA standards, release criteria, and quality metrics tailored to a trading platform. Establish best practices for validating execution accuracy, pricing, and API reliability.
Automation (E2E-first approach):
Design, build, and maintain a scalable end-to-end automation framework for the web app, covering critical user journeys.
API testing & validation:
Develop comprehensive automated tests for backend services and APIs. Ensure consistency between API responses and frontend behavior.
Trading logic validation:
Validate correctness of execution paths, price impact, and fee calculations across different trading pairs and liquidity sources.
Performance & reliability:
Drive API-level load and stress testing for high-throughput scenarios. Validate system behavior under peak traffic and degraded conditions (timeouts, partial failures, node issues).
Test data & environment strategy:
Design reliable test environments and datasets (mocked or real blockchain interactions), ensuring repeatability of E2E and API tests.
Cross-team collaboration & leadership:

As an Institutional BD Manager, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of our platform/protocol among institutional players. Your goal is to secure high-value partnerships with hedge funds, market makers, asset managers, and corporate treasuries, facilitating their entry into the digital asset ecosystem through our infrastructure.
Identify and engage with institutional prospects, including Tier-1 and Tier-2 market makers, VC firms, OTC desks, and family offices.
Lead the entire sales process from initial cold outreach and high-level presentations to complex contract negotiations and closing.
Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth KYC/KYB and technical onboarding process for institutional clients.
Negotiate and structure deals that increase on-platform liquidity, TVL (Total Value Locked), or trading volume.
Identify opportunities for API integrations and sub-custody solutions for traditional financial (TradFi) institutions.
Develop and manage "VIP" tiers, ensuring institutional clients receive competitive fee structures and bespoke support.
Act as the "voice of the customer" for institutional needs, relaying feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to improve API stability, security features, and reporting tools.
Represent the firm at global institutional summits (e.g., Token2049, Blockworks Digital Asset Summit) to build a high-trust network.
Stay updated on global crypto regulations (e.g., MiCA, VASP requirements, SEC/CFTC shifts) to ensure all BD activities are compliant.
Work closely with the Risk department to assess the creditworthiness and reputational standing of potential institutional partners.
2–5 years in Business Development, Institutional Sales, or Account Management within Fintech, Prime Brokerage, or Web3 Infrastructure.
Strong understanding of traditional finance (TradFi) instruments—derivatives, spot trading, lending, and settlement—and how they translate to DeFi/Web3.
Ability to discuss technical specifications, including REST/FIX APIs, MPC (Multi-Party Computation) wallet security, and smart contract audits.
Sophisticated verbal and written communication skills suitable for C-suite and Investment Committee presentations.
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience in the crypto markets).
A warm network of contacts within the crypto institutional space (Market Makers, Funds, or Custodians).
Proficiency in a second language relevant to global financial hubs (e.g., Mandarin for the APAC corridor).
Experience explaining complex DeFi concepts (Liquid Staking, RWA Tokenization) to traditional investors.

We are in search of a highly adept Trading Systems Engineer for the core Engineering team to strengthen the platform's performance, scalability, and observability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-latency trading systems and experience supporting clients like quant funds and market makers in integrating with APIs (both REST and WebSocket).
As the Trading Gateway Engineer, responsibilities include implementing core connectivity systems to expand the trading engine into a global, low-latency network. This involves building foundational data distribution channels and improving their throughput and latency.
Successful candidates will engage with clients' developers and project managers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Collaboration with the Gateway team and Trading Engineering will be essential to troubleshoot API and trading issues while contributing to the overall Gateway roadmap. Additionally, work with the Product Engineering team to enhance the SDK for blockchain signatures used by API traders.
