SUMMARY: 

The Senior Technical Designer is responsible for building and maintaining the specs and fit of the garment from initial design concept through to final fit approval for the women's categories. This role is responsible to ensure fit consistency and Brand standards for construction throughout the given category are maintained. This position requires a higher  level of technical, process management and problem solving skills. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with business partners to obtain clear direction and consensus on design aesthetic, fit intent and construction.
• Build excellent working relationships with cross functional partners in Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and Product Development as well as overseas offices and Direct vendors. 
• Develop specifications and garment construction methods for assigned product categories from initial style development and cost engineer for bulk production. 
• Attend fit sessions with Team, to develop Brand aesthetic, silhouette and proportion within the price point for assigned categories.
• Problem solves all technical issues related to fit and execution including fabric application, construction, grading and cost engineering.
• Effectively communicate fit intent, balance and construction revisions to OVS partners and Direct Vendors via fit notes, diagrams, ¼ scale pattern corrections, digital photos. 
• Evaluate prototype samples and fit samples for measurement, fit and construction accuracy and quality according to Brand standards. 
• Participate in maintaining consistency of technical design and product creation processes. 
• Partner with OVS offices and Direct Vendor Technical teams to ensure execution of fit, construction and finishing 
• Ensure Brand consistency in aesthetic, fit and construction from vendor to vendor across all styles within a category

✏️ Your Responsibilities

Portfolio Underwriting & Risk Assessment

You will underwrite new business and renewals across commercial motor fleet segments, including PHV/taxi, delivery, leasing fleets, and other types of fleets. You will assess risk quality using exposure data, loss history, fleet management practices, driver profiles, and sector information, and apply technical pricing models and rating tools to determine adequate premiums.

You will negotiate terms with brokers and MGAs to achieve balanced outcomes on price, coverage, and conditions, while applying underwriting authority appropriately and escalating referrals when needed. You will also manage quotes, binders, endorsements, and monitor in-force accounts for mid-term changes, fleet movements, and deterioration in claims performance.

Portfolio Management & Performance

• You will monitor the combined operating ratio (COR) and loss ratio of the fleet portfolio on a regular basis, identifying trends and taking corrective actions where needed. You will track performance by segment, geography, broker, vehicle type, and fleet size, and contribute to quarterly portfolio reviews and management reporting.
• You will actively manage underperforming accounts through rate action, tighter coverage terms, or non-renewal decisions where appropriate. You will also produce underwriting MI and data analysis to support portfolio steering and work closely with actuarial teams on pricing adequacy, experience reviews, and reserving discussions.

Pricing & Technical Development

• You will contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of fleet pricing models, rating tools, underwriting guidelines, referral matrices, and appetite statements. You will incorporate market intelligence and claims experience into pricing assumptions, including repair cost inflation, parts trends, and frequency developments.

🧠 What You Bring

You bring significant technical underwriting experience and strong commercial judgement. In particular, you have:

• Significant motor fleet underwriting experience, ideally within an insurer, Lloyd’s syndicate, or specialist MGA

This Global Care Navigator will assist our members through their mental health care journey and connection to care, while ensuring our members are incredibly satisfied with the Spring Health experience. The Global Care Navigator exhibits a deep understanding of all patient and clinician workflows and is highly responsive, resourceful, empathic, and professional. They have creative problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering a high-quality experience. This role will report to the Manager of the Global Team in Clinical Operations. 

The working hours for this role will be: Monday-Friday; 3pm - 11pm CEST

What you’ll be doing: 

• Utilize active listening and written communication skills to interact with and support patients by maintaining availability during shifts for incoming phone, chat, and emails in the language(s) in which you are fluent. 
• Manage all care coordination needs, including but not limited to: assisting with platform sign up, troubleshooting tech issues, gathering intake information, scheduling and canceling appointments, and explaining the services available. 
• Conduct a clinical needs assessment to develop a plan of action for each member and refer to an appropriate level and modality of care (Spring Health counseling provider or other mental health services.) 
• Assess and synthesize information using good clinical judgment to manage member crises such as suicide risk by providing in-the-moment support, triage, safety planning, and follow up. 
• Provide consultation, psycho-education, empathy and motivational assistance as needed to address mental health, substance use, and family/relationship concerns. 
• Engage in CIR intake and/or coaching services for global members and customers
• Identify and problem-solve issues that serve as a barrier or disruption to care, technical issues, and more submitted by members and providers. 
• Research and document crisis resources for members in different countries
• Review and learn from current and new workflows, via a combination of online and live training, and policies, which will be written and spoken in English. 
• Summarize all patient interactions, writing in English within Spring Health’s online documentation systems. 
• Coordinate with other internal teams in identifying, reporting, and resolving issues as needed, to ensure a smooth member experience. 
• Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, training, and special internal projects such as customer-facing initiatives as assigned and available.

What we expect from you: 

• Counselor, Psychotherapist, or Social Worker with a masters degree and appropriate credentials in your US state or country of residence. 
• Minimum of 2+ years of direct clinical care experience post licensure.

The target base range for this position is €53,865 – €65,236 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including benefits. JOB SCOPE

Opportunity Overview: 

Technergetics is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer to support the AFRL (Airforce Research Laboratory) in Rome, New York and other DoD and Performer locations across the country. While a research background is a valuable skillset for this position, the objective is evaluation, not research.

This position will work closely with DARPA’s cross-organizational Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI) AFRL team to review, validate, and document approaches enabling revolutionary advances in design, engineering, testing, and evaluation in the domain of fault-tolerant quantum computing and exploring computational workflows that include quantum computing procedures. The primary goal of the QBI program is to determine if any emerging approaches to quantum computing can achieve industrially useful operation exponentially faster than conventional predictions.

Position Details      

Salary Range:  $75,000-$150,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary will heavily depend on how many position qualifications the candidate meets, in addition to education and experience. This is a full-time exempt position.   

Remote performance is expected for this position and Technergetics will consider candidates from across the United States. Regardless of location, a successful candidate can expect to travel to the Washington DC area (DARPA), and Support or Performer sites across the country 10%-40% of any given month. International travel is required for some Performers on this project. Daily activities include frequent VTC meetings and may also require limited/periodic nonstandard work hours to accommodate meetings with team members and Performers across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities and Duties    

The day-to-day activities of DARPA’s QBI team include performing tasks to identify, select, capture, evaluate, and document the metrics and approaches that DARPA’s commercial Performers are developing and applying to build fault-tolerant, utility-scale quantum computers (USQC). The QBI team is responsible for generating and executing plans to assess the timeline, performance and operation metrics, and plausibility of each Performer’s technology. Candidates will verify a Performer’s ability to build a USQC that operates as intended, and they will document, report, and justify the findings.

The QBI Systems Engineer will apply their expertise as applicable in three typical work categories: 

1. Review and Evaluation

• Rapidly digest large quantities of complex Performer-specific technical details, perform relevant independent evaluations, and generate standardized Government artifacts summarizing independent assessments of that material
• Evaluate quantum computing architectures, devices, algorithms, and applications including utility and maturity
• Identify Performer subsystems and components required to successfully design and construct the system
• Discover, develop, implement, execute, evaluate, analyze, articulate, and justify models and simulations at the component, subsystem, and system levels
• Assess DARPA and Performer requirements; capture and document the level of maturity of these elements
• Identify, assess, and capture design, development, and integration risk
• Identify the Performer’s interface approach
  • For efforts with an existing Interface Control Document (ICD), review the information and identify any shortcomings. It may be necessary to convert the Performer-provided ICD to a common framework identified/developed by the Government evaluation team.
  • For Performer efforts that do not have an existing Interface Control Document, assist the Performer to track system interfaces through an ICD or similar document.

1. Documentation and Reporting

• Participate in system concept and readiness reviews
• Perform prototype subsystem System Requirements Review (SRR) through Final Design Review (FDR) and prototype construction
• Assist with diverse evaluation and documentation activities

Education and Certifications:    

This position requires, at minimum, graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Mathematics or Engineering discipline. 

A Master of Science degree or PhD in Engineering, Logistics, Computer Science/Engineering, Operations Research, or related field is strongly preferred.

Qualifications: 

• At minimum one year of professional experience in physics, mathematics, computer engineering, operations research or closely related position in addition to education requirements
• Knowledge and experience with standard Systems Engineering (SE) frameworks and practices (SysML, DoDAF, etc.); Experience with DoE SE practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of benchmarking methodologies, performance analysis, and GPU/CPU optimization

The research program spans multiple areas of quantum science and technology, with an emphasis on developing new capabilities, exploring emerging quantum approaches, and transitioning promising concepts toward real-world applications. • Document research results through internal reports, briefings, and technical reviews

Opportunity Overview: 

Technergetics is seeking to hire up to five mid-level to senior-level Physicists, Mathematicians, Logisticians, Computer Scientists, Computer Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Operations Research experts. While a research background is a valuable and applicable skillset for these positions, the objective of them is evaluation, not research.

These positions will work closely with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)’s cross-organizational Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI) team to review, validate, and document approaches enabling revolutionary advances in design, engineering, testing, and evaluation in the domain of fault-tolerant quantum computing and exploring computational workflows that include quantum computing procedures. The primary goal of the QBI program is to determine if any emerging approaches to quantum computing can achieve industrially useful operation exponentially faster than conventional predictions. 

Position Details      

Salary Range:  $75,000-$150,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary will heavily depend on how many position qualifications the candidate meets, in addition to education and experience. This is a full-time exempt position.   

Remote performance is expected for this position and Technergetics will consider candidates from across the United States. Regardless of location, a successful candidate can expect to travel to the Washington DC area (DARPA), and Support or Performer sites across the country 10%-40% of any given month. Daily activities include frequent VTC meetings and may also require limited/periodic nonstandard work hours to accommodate meetings with team members and Performers across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities and Duties    

The day-to-day activities of DARPA’s QBI team include performing tasks to identify, select, capture, evaluate, and document the metrics and approaches that DARPA’s commercial Performers are developing and applying to build fault-tolerant, utility-scale quantum computers (USQC). The QBI team is responsible for generating and executing plans to assess the timeline, performance and operation metrics, and plausibility of each Performer’s technology. Candidates will verify a Performer’s ability to build a USQC that operates as intended, and they will document, report, and justify the findings.

Typical work can be divided into three categories: 

1. Review and Evaluation

• Rapidly digest large quantities of complex Performer-specific technical details, perform relevant independent evaluations, and generate standardized Government artifacts summarizing independent assessments of that material
• Evaluate quantum computing architectures, devices, algorithms, and applications including utility and maturity
• Identify Performer subsystems and components required to successfully design and construct the system
• Discover, develop, implement, execute, evaluate, analyze, articulate, and justify models and simulations at the component, subsystem, and system levels
• Assess DARPA and Performer requirements; capture and document the level of maturity of these elements
• Identify, assess, and capture design, development, and integration risk
• Identify the Performer’s interface approach
  • For efforts with an existing Interface Control Document (ICD), review the information and identify any shortcomings. It may be necessary to convert the Performer-provided ICD to a common framework identified/developed by the Government evaluation team.
  • For Performer efforts that do not have an existing Interface Control Document, assist the Performer to track system interfaces through an ICD or similar document.

2. Documentation and Reporting

• Assist non-traditional performers to complete design reviews
• Participate in system concept and readiness reviews
• Perform prototype subsystem System Requirements Review (SRR) through Final Design Review (FDR) and prototype construction
• Assist with diverse evaluation and documentation activities
• Identify, implement, and apply standardized Government and systems engineering products, practices, and documentation

3. Professionalism and Teamwork

• Work with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, physicists, scientists, engineers, and subject matter experts to identify problems and synthesize solutions which can be integrated into preexisting workflows and processes
• Discover, develop, and lead novel workflows to enhance and improve evaluation processes as new Performers are added to the program
• Cultivate a professional and respectful environment of cooperation by listening and considering the views of others. 
• Be willing and able to seek opportunities for collaboration with personnel from other functional units (finance, contracting, etc.) and other technical areas of participating organizations to accomplish work-related activities. 

Education and Certifications:    

This project requires, at minimum, graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Mathematics or Engineering discipline. 

A Master of Science degree or PhD in Engineering, Logistics, Computer Science/Engineering, Operations Research, or related field is preferred.

Qualifications: 

• 1+ years of professional experience in physics, mathematics, computer engineering, operations research or closely related position is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with photonic principles, devices and circuits, integrated photonic chips, and similar
• Knowledge and experience with superconductor principles, devices and circuits, integrated superconductor chips, and similar
• Knowledge and experience of the principles and practices of using other viable quantum information modalities, such as solid-state devices, atomic systems, etc. for elements of scalable quantum computation
• Knowledge and experience with standard Systems Engineering (SE) frameworks and practices (SysML, DoDAF, etc.); Experience with DoE SE practices is a plus.
• Familiar with typical DoD reviews, including technical review products and organizational structure
• Experience with development/execution of modeling and simulation tools and related software tools and techniques
• Ability to leverage mathematics and statistics to analyze, visualize, and explain complex and unstructured data
• Comfortable speaking to diverse audiences; capable of organizing and conveying abstract/complex ideas and concepts
• Able to expediently generate focused and detailed work product based on evolving/general/nebulous task requests
• Understand USAF/DoD structure and current strategic guidance; able to follow and respect the chain of command
• Comfortable engaging in frequent and recurring video teleconference (VTC) meetings (camera on)
• Candidates absolutely must be capable of working independently to produce timely products, with a mindset that embraces the flexibility required to define and follow the procedures for DARPA’s new and evolving QBI program

The following advanced knowledge of quantum computing is a plus:

• Experience planning, performing, and conducting experimental quantum research using computer simulations and mathematical models
• Specific experience with quantum computing hardware, especially valuable if it is across multiple qubit modalities
• Specific experience developing quantum algorithms designed for fault-tolerant quantum computers
• Expertise in quantum resource estimation tools and techniques for analyzing quantum circuits
• Experience or academic background in Quantum Error Correction and quantum fault tolerance
