• Conduct cyber risk assessments using frameworks or standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, PCI, CIS Top 20, CMMC, or other industry measurement tools.

Qualifications:

Cloud Platform Team at Druva drives the backbone of everything SaaS related. About Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff SDET who brings strong engineering fundamentals, deep automation capability, and a passion for quality in distributed, cloud-based systems. This role involves designing test strategies, improving automation frameworks, and working closely with developers to ensure the reliability and security of complex backup workflows.You will contribute across the full lifecycle - from feature design and white-box testing to deployment and validation in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with the development team in an Agile environment to understand functional specifications and design requirements.
• Test Planning: Independently create comprehensive feature test plans aligned with development milestones and feature completion.
• Automation Frameworks: Leverage existing automation frameworks to automate feature tests and actively augment libraries to support new functionalities.
• End-to-End Ownership: Own the complete test execution cycle for user stories, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Testing Strategy: Perform a mix of automated, manual, white-box, and black-box testing.
• Infrastructure Management: Create, maintain, and document testbed setups and environments.
• Quality Assurance: Timely reporting, tracking, and updating of issues and test cases using management tools.
• Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality benchmarks are met throughout the development lifecycle.

Must Have Skills:

Operating Systems & Core Concepts:

• Knowledge of working with Docker, Linux, Windows
• Good knowledge of networking and cloud architecture fundamentals, preferably with exposure to AWS and/or Azure services (networking, storage, compute).

Programming & Automation:

• Proficiency in Python or Java (Python preferred).
• Strong Shell scripting ability.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases.

Testing skills & Tools:

• Strong experience in REST API testing and backend automation.
• Experience in UI automation (Selenium / Playwright preferred)
• Proficiency with tools like Git, Jira, XRay, Jenkins etc.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Exposure to Load and Performance testing and related tools

Desirable Skills

QA Engineer 

Corvil is expanding its test engineering team. The QA team is responsible for ensuring the quality of its high performance, real-time analytics products, utilising the latest software and hardware technologies.  Our team delivers innovative, automated testing solutions to verify the accuracy, performance, functionality, stress, resilience and use case validation of the company’s products.

The successful applicant will be part of a collaborative, passionate and highly technical QA team.  Operating in an agile environment, the QA Engineer will be responsible for designing comprehensive test strategies that ensure our industry leading product is high quality.

Responsibilities and Duties (include but not limited to): 

• Work within a cross-functional team following agile software development techniques to test new product features.
• Ensure the quality of all deliverables in all levels of the product life-cycle, from requirements analysis to test design and implementation
• Implement cost-effective test strategies, design and maintain test plans and test cases for leading financial and enterprise core product features
• Execute manual/automation tests covering all QA cycles: functional, regression, performance and system testing/characterization
• Use scripting and programming skills to automate tests using python and selenium
• Ensure thorough test coverage for UI, API, and integration layers, verifying data integrity, request/response flows and validating end-to-end user workflows.
• Work within Linux environments to execute tests, analyse logs, and debug failures.
• Track test progress, report results, forecast areas of risk and provide mitigation plans
• Identify product defects, log them in the system and verify them once fixed

Education, Skills and Background 

• in Computer Science or related discipline
• 5+ years relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Solid understanding of web technologies and front-end architecture.
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or another object-oriented language.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver or similar test automation tools.
• Experience with API testing tools.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux environments and familiarity with network protocols.
• Good knowledge of manual and automated testing best practice.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English-language communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to security and vulnerability testing concepts (OWASP Top 10).
• Experience designing or maintaining test automation frameworks.
