The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled SDET to join our Agile development team. In this role, you will not just test software; you will deconstruct complex features to understand their design, build robust automation frameworks, and ensure the resilience of our cloud-based backup solutions.
You will work closely with developers to perform white-box and black-box testing, owning the quality of features from conception to deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Operating Systems & Core Concepts:
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS.
- Deep understanding of Threading, Multiprocessing, and Socket Programming.
- Strong knowledge of Networking protocols and Cloud Architecture.
Programming & Scripting:
- Strong proficiency in one or more high-level languages: Python, Golang.
- Experience with SQL databases.
Testing & Tools:
- Expertise in RESTful API testing.
- Proficiency with bug and test management tools (e.g., Jira, XRay).

About Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff SDET who brings strong engineering fundamentals, deep automation capability, and a passion for quality in distributed, cloud-based systems. The Role & The Team:
The Financial Analyst is a key member of the FP&A team and will support planning, forecasting, close, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly reporting across functions. This role partners with finance business partners to drive insights and ad hoc analysis for leadership.
FP&A Analyst
Primary responsibilities:
- Assist financial business partners in preparing and analyzing various forecast and plan items for functional groups.
- Perform variance analysis for functional departments, identifying key drivers, and monthly finance and business reviews.
- Prepare monthly accruals, search for unrecorded liabilities.
- Prepare and submit Journal Entries to Accounting and ensure spend is posted to the correct cost center and GL account.
- Create and maintain budget, actual, headcount movement reports for distribution to senior management.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior management as needed to review and improve business and financial performance.
- Support the Revenue FP&A team on select revenue planning and forecasting deliverables, partnering closely with US-based stakeholders.
- Prepare recurring revenue reporting and variance analysis (e.g., ARR and bookings), highlighting key drivers, risks, and actions.
- Help strengthen reporting processes and documentation to improve scalability and resiliency as the business grows.

What We Are Looking For:
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A at a software / technology company (SaaS preferred)
- Experience supporting US-based stakeholders and working across time zones
- Experience building and analyzing bookings plans, expense plans, and headcount / productivity ratios
FP&A skills
- Ability to create and maintain budget vs actual reporting, headcount movement, and management-ready dashboards
- Experience supporting monthly close activities (accruals, unrecorded liabilities, and journal entry preparation)
- Strong ad hoc analysis skills to support senior leadership decision-making
Tools and systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace: Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides
- Experience with FP&A/finance systems such as Adaptive Insights (or similar), NetSuite, Salesforce, and Greenhouse (or similar)

As Manager, Engineering, you will be leading a team of senior engineers that is responsible for delivering features and enhancements for scale-out distributed systems and applications. Key Skills:
- 10-15 Years of Experience with a consistent track record in development projects involving product development as an individual contributor and team/tech lead. Experience of managing, motivating, developing / coaching, and appraising the team assigned to the project.

The Foundation team at Druva is responsible for designing a highly performant and scalable cloud file system on the Druva cloud in AWS. This file system is used to back up billions of files per day, translating to millions of metadata requests per second across regions. To build this petabyte-scale, distributed, services-oriented cloud file system, various key concepts like file system metadata, versioning, and eventual consistency are used along with leveraging various AWS services like S3, DDB, and Kinesis. A purpose-built key-value store is used for managing these metadata requests. While the core file storage engine provides the backup storage for all the Druva products, allied components like the indexing engine, key-value store, and big data pipeline provide scalable search, analytics, and compliance services. The team diligently keeps track of newer services, storage tiers, and various aspects of existing AWS services to take advantage of the continuous evolution of services and use them effectively in the background.
As a Sr. Software Engineer in the filesystem team, you will be providing technical ownership to create high-quality software by owning the design and implementation of features within the filesystem. This role will require excellent communication skills as you will collaborate with architects and other senior engineers to refine requirements, and other product owners to drive features to completion with good quality.
Some of the key areas the team is working on
- Improving resiliency of the filesystem with periodic incremental consistency checks, both for petabytes of metadata and hundreds of petabytes of data residing in the cloud. Metadata versioning and change tracking.
- Third-party secondary storage appliance integration for data centre data protection.
- Extend the filesystem to store a variety of workloads beyond files/folders, e.g., emails and messages
- Optimise the filesystem for cost using strategies and algorithms to reduce cloud cost (eg. leveraging cheaper cloud storage tiers and reducing IO requests)
- Develop tools that help debug production issues more efficiently
Key Skill
- 6+ years of experience, preferably in a product company with exposure to storage architectures.
- Strong demonstrable experience in systems programming, especially in multithreading, synchronization, fault tolerance and data consistency at scale.
- Hands-on experience in the design and development of complex products.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Go/Python/C/C++/Java on Unix/Linux platforms.
A strong understanding of complex concepts related to computer architecture, data structures, algorithms, design concepts, and programming practices.
- Experience in working with SoA (Service-oriented Architecture), especially in the service’s backend.
Desirable Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS) will be advantageous

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer - Escalations, you will be responsible for fixing product bugs and delivering code changes to the Production part of product reliability, resiliency, stability & sustenance for all Druva SaaS Customers.
This role will require excellent communication skills as you will collaborate with Product Management, CloudOps, Development & Customer-Facing Teams to refine requirements, product architects to propose architectural changes, and other product owners to drive features for usability/supportability/quality.

We are looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer who is passionate about building highly scalable, secure, and performant infrastructure components that form the core of our data protection and data management platform. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of systems programming, distributed storage, and cloud-native architecture and is looking to solve complex technical problems at scale.
We prefer candidates from Tier-1 institutes (IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, IIIT-H, IISc) or those who have demonstrated exceptional systems-level depth through impactful work in high-scale backend systems, infrastructure platforms, or storage/security products.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, high-level and low-level design of data protection and data management services and frameworks.
- Design and implement secure, resilient, and highly scalable microservices using Python or Golang, following SaaS-first principles.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, DevOps, and peer engineering teams to build storage and data services that manage data and metadata at scale.
