This role reports to the Manager, can be full or part time depending on business needs and requires availability at peak times to best serve our guest needs.

At Madison Reed, we aim to pay competitively. Compensation for this role consists of base hourly pay, commissions, and tips. Potential earnings for this location range from $38 - $40 per hour. Actual compensation contingent on factors including Hair Color Bar performance, tenure, and time behind the chair.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and develop teamwork skills to provide a guest experience aligned with our values of Love, Joy, Trust, Courage and Responsibility.
• Provide consultations and all services offered on the menu, including shampooing and conditioning, styling such as blow drying, flat ironing and curling, etc., and all chemical services to the highest of quality standards and to 100% guest satisfaction.
• Be attentive to guest needs to help select the best products and color for them, while staying flexible to business needs and on time for bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other key performance indicators, including but not limited to: retail sales, services, memberships.
• Ensures Hair Color Bar meets company standards as it relates to cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, company asset security.
• Adheres to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing the average service ticket through additional services, sales of unlimited roots memberships, subscriptions, home hair care and more.
• Grow within Madison Reed by participating in ongoing training and staying up to date on MR products and service offerings.
• Support the training and development of Assistant Colorists through demonstration, coaching and care.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, team members will regularly stand, walk for four plus consecutive hours; repetitive and regular bending and twisting at the waist; manipulating fingers and hands, bend and reach wrists and arms, reach with hands and arms or move up to ten pounds. Qualifications:

• Active cosmetology license in the state in which you are applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair within a salon environment.
• Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills, in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems
• Fluency in English

Essential Functions

Factory Direct Enterprises LLC d/b/a Ashley (FDE) is seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. With 20+ retail locations across the tri-state area and continued expansion ahead, this position plays a critical role in managing the financial backbone of our multi-location retail operation.

We’re looking for a high-performing accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is ready to take on leadership responsibilities. This is a succession-track role designed to grow into the Accounting Manager within the next few years.

• Month-End Close & Financial Reporting:
  Coordinate and execute monthly and quarterly close activities in accordance with GAAP — including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling and analyzing balance sheet accounts, and producing accurate internal financial statements and management reports
• Variance & Budget Analysis:
  Analyze and explain budget-to-actual variances and period-over-period financial changes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, providing clear, actionable insights to leadership to support business decision-making
• Store Operations Accounting:
  Manage accounting activities related to new store openings, relocations, and monthly rent and occupancy cost analysis across all retail locations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational decisions

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; strong foundational accounting knowledge is essential for success in this role.
• CPA credential or active progress toward CPA preferred, reflecting the technical depth required for GAAP compliance, lease accounting, audit leadership, and future managerial responsibilities.

Required Experience:

• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a retail, multi-entity, or high-volume operating environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in month-end close, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, including hands-on experience with lease accounting under ASC 842 and fixed asset accounting.
• Experience utilizing and navigating multiple ERP systems, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, streamline workflows, and support system enhancements.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling) to support analysis and reporting requirements.
• Proven experience supporting or leading audit preparation, including developing schedules, reconciling supporting documentation, and interacting with external auditors.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or train team members, reflecting readiness for a succession track into Accounting Manager.

Preferred Experience & Technical Skills:

• Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, or data warehouse reporting tools to support automation, dashboarding, and enhanced analytics.
• Background in sales and use of tax compliance or multi-jurisdictional tax filings.
• Exposure to new store accounting, lease review, and operational accounting in a multi-location retail model.

Experience driving process improvements that increase accuracy, automation, or efficiency within accounting operations.

OVERVIEW

The Visual Lead is responsible for achieving store sales & maximizing profitability through Visual Merchandising in partnership with the Visual Manager. The Visual Lead will work closely with the Operations & Visual Manager in initiating, delegating work, and providing feedback to the team to achieve optimal results supporting total store operations.   

Visual Leader 

• Manage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management 
• Maintains strategic product presentation and merchandising by ensuring product recovery, restock, destock, and making visual merchandising change in accordance with directive and with partnership of the Visual Manager 
• Effectively plans Visual floor changes with the management team through payroll management and adapting the zone and visual support to the needs of the business. 
• Executes and maintains visual direction from planning through executing to meeting company expectations, budgets, timeline 
• Utilizes reporting tools in partnership with management to identify business opportunities with product placement, outfitting, and stock levels. Makes changes as necessary

OVERVIEW

The Operations Associate is critical in the store team and is responsible for driving profitability and efficiency. The Operations Associate will work closely with the Operations & Visual Management team in initiating, completing work, and providing feedback to the team to achieve optimal results supporting total store operations.

Senior Manager, Quality Assurance

Description:

The Senior Quality Manager, OTC Program is responsible for the leadership, governance, and continuous improvement of the company’s Over-the-counter (OTC) quality program for cosmetic and OTC products. This role ensures full compliance with applicable FDA regulations and internal quality standards across product development, manufacturing, testing, release, and post market activities.

The position serves as the Quality subject matter expert for OTC regulatory requirements and provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure consistent implementation of OTC program guidelines across internal sites and third-party manufacturers.

Key responsibilities:

OTC Quality Program Leadership

• Own and continuously improve OTC Quality Program guidelines, standards, and governance aligned with FDA requirements (21 CFR Parts 201, 210, 211, as applicable) and Health Canada requirements to ensure compliance and inspection readiness.
• Serve as the primary Quality point of contact and SME for OTC regulatory/compliance matters, including MoCRA rollout and regulatory milestone execution.

Quality Compliance & Oversight

• Ensure OTC products are manufactured, tested, labeled, released, and distributed in compliance with FDA requirements and internal QMS standards, providing lifecycle oversight (change control, deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and product disposition).
• Lead or support FDA inspections and internal/external audits for OTC products, ensuring timely closure of observations.

Quality Systems Integration

• Integrate OTC requirements into the QMS (validation, supplier quality, complaints, stability, documentation) and define/oversee validation strategies for OTC products, processes, equipment, and computerized systems.
• Partner with QC, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain to apply OTC quality requirements consistently.

Third-Party Manufacturing & Supplier Quality

OTC Drug Stability Program

• Lead a team of individual contributors to ensure compliance with annual and accelerated stability testing, including authoring, review, and approval of stability protocols and final reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, proactive leader to support the continued growth and performance of our Learning & Development team. As the Learning Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring training effectiveness, audit compliance, and cross-training initiatives across PM shifts. THE ROLE

Re-Commerce Manager

The Returns, Quality and Fraud team owns key parts of the customer journey, including product quality, returns, disposition, and recovery. Our goal is to build scalable processes that maximize recovery while protecting customer experience and brand standards.

The Re-Commerce Manager owns the resale of returned, excess, and refurbished inventory across third-party marketplaces. This role is responsible for turning un-restockable inventory into sellable product through strong execution in grading, presentation, listing quality, pricing, and channel strategy.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with strong inventory judgment, product presentation skills, and marketplace selling instincts. They may come from retail operations, merchandising, resale, marketplaces, stockroom, or other inventory-led environments. They are organized, data-driven, and comfortable moving quickly while balancing recovery, sell-through, margin, and brand integrity.

This position will be onsite at our Carneys Point, NJ location.

About the Role

The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of safety protocols and procedures within the local organization. • Serve as the on-site People Partner Generalist for NJ sites with regional support across NJ and Boston, providing daily HR support across benefits, payroll, attendance, policies, compliance, and employee relations.
• Support implementation of corporate-wide policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives, including change management efforts such as WMS implementation and operational growth initiatives.
• Provide coaching, direction, and counsel to frontline managers and supervisors to proactively anticipate, prevent, and resolve a wide range of HR issues; independently lead investigations and employee relations cases and escalate as needed to the Senior Manager, Employee Relations.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases from incident through resolution in partnership with vendors, insurers, and the Insurance & Risk Manager.
• Partner with site leadership to drive employee engagement and retention initiatives for frontline teams and reinforce leadership expectations around fair and consistent people management.
• Identify trends in employee relations, attendance, safety, and turnover; proactively assess risk and recommend practical, business-aligned solutions.
• Deliver, coordinate, and track required training to ensure compliance with local, state, OSHA, and company requirements; provide individual and group training on HR policies, procedures, performance management, and leadership capability.
• Support program management efforts including Supervisor Trainee Program coordination, development plan tracking, compliance initiatives, and process improvement.
• Answer and assist site leadership and regional teams with general HR questions and requests while ensuring compliance and consistency.
• Assist with HR reporting, documentation, case tracking, and compliance records to maintain accurate and organized HR operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of HR Generalist or People Partner experience in field-based, multi-site, fulfillment, logistics, or operational environments.
• Experience managing day-to-day HR administration including employee relations, workers’ compensation, compliance, onboarding, and performance management.
• Working knowledge of employment law and OSHA requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to support hourly and frontline workforces in fast-paced operational settings.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance empathy and firm, fair decision-making.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in case documentation and compliance tracking.
• Self-starting, resourceful, and action-oriented with the ability to operate independently while knowing when to escalate.
• Comfortable in high-growth, fast-moving, and sometimes ambiguous environments.
• Ability to travel 20–30% across NJ and Boston; Tuesday–Saturday schedule preferred or one weekend day required.

About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations in our Clifton, NJ location. The Inbound/Internal Transfers Operations Manager will ensure the Clifton facility's inbound and internal transfer processes operate safely, efficiently, and accurately. This role will prioritize workplace safety, oversee inbound freight scheduling, receiving, put away accuracy, internal stock movements, and dock-to-stock cycle times to maintain high service standards and inventory readiness for downstream operations.

Responsibilities:

• Safety, dock-to-stock Efficiency, inbound inventory accuracy, internal transfer accuracy & timeliness, and people management.
• Lead Inbound & Internal Transfers – Serve as the senior leader for all inbound functions (unloading, inspection, put away) and own internal stock transfers between zones/buildings/sister facilities, including scheduling and documentation to keep materials flowing.
• People Leadership & Development – Mentor and coach inbound team leaders and supervisors; set clear expectations, create development plans, provide ongoing feedback, and build a high-performance, accountable culture.
• Inbound Labor Planning & Productivity – Optimize staffing for inbound peaks and container/truck schedules using forecasts and internal tools; deploy labor to demand, meet productivity KPIs, and address performance gaps quickly.
• Operational Excellence & Inventory Accuracy (Dock-to-Stock) – Eliminate receiving-dock bottlenecks by enforcing SOPs and standardized workflows; improve receiving checks, run root-cause analysis on discrepancies, take corrective actions, and process goods within target timelines.
• Safety & Compliance – Prioritize a safe inbound work environment through proactive dock safety monitoring, safety training, and adherence to all compliance requirements to minimize incidents and liability.
• Cross-Functional Alignment, DC Capacity & Cost Control – Partner with procurement, transportation, replenishment, and outbound to align inbound scheduling and transfers; collaborate on space utilization and peak planning; reduce waste and costs in labor, detention/demurrage, and space usage.

About the Role:  

Brand Ambassadors spread brand awareness and increase retail sales through client visits, promotional activities, field marketing efforts, and customer engagement. We're looking for someone committed to proactively growing our brand and product reach by establishing new relationships and developing current relationships with dispensaries and customers. The position will be part-time (30 hours/week), mostly weekends and some evenings. This person will be responsible for events across the northern half of the state.
