About You

Nutrafol is seeking a Senior Director, Marketing Analytics & Data Science to bring senior measurement leadership and advanced modeling capability to our marketing analytics function. This role partners with an established marketing analytics team that is actively driving the strategy, roadmap, and cross-functional unification of measurement across brand, growth, and retention.

We're looking for a senior measurement leader with hands-on data science depth to support and elevate an established marketing analytics team. The team owns strategy, roadmap, and cross-functional measurement — you bring technical rigor, modeling depth, and outside experience to accelerate their work. 

Responsibilities: 

• Measurement & modeling — provide senior support across the full portfolio: MMM, MTA, incrementality testing, website analytics, CM360 reporting, and growth journey analytics. Lead the technical implementation of MTA 2.0, partnering with the team that owns strategy and roadmap.
• Methodology & rigor — pressure-test assumptions, validate outputs, and guide reconciliation across measurement approaches so stakeholders know which signal to trust for which decision. Bring clarity to complex methodological questions, including privacy-resilient measurement.
• AI & advanced analytics — apply ML, statistical modeling, and AI (including LLM-based workflows and modeled conversions) to improve measurement quality, speed, and scalability.
• Mentorship — develop team members on measurement craft, modeling depth, and data science methods. Build advanced analytics capability within the function over time.
• Cross Functional Communication — translate technical measurement outputs into clear language for marketing, finance, and executive audiences. Support the team's credibility in cross-functional forums.

What success looks like:

• Own the strategy for MTA revamp, including implementation, validation, and trust — with clear reconciliation against MMM and incrementality
• Ensures measurement rigor is visibly elevated across the portfolio
• Introduce and test AI and modern analytics platforms to improve overall capabilities and measurement effectiveness
• Manage methodological choices, ensuring they’re well-documented, defensible, and trusted by business stakeholders

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics and measurement roles, with significant time in senior positions
• Deep expertise across MMM, multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, website analytics, and growth/funnel analytics
• Hands-on background building or leading MMM and MTA models — with depth to implement, not just oversee
• Strong data science foundation: regression, Bayesian methods, time-series, and ML applied to marketing measurement
• Applied AI experience in marketing analytics — LLM-based workflows, modeled conversions, or measurement automation
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R); familiarity with GA4, CM360, and BI tools
• Experience mentoring analytics talent across measurement and data science
• eCommerce background required; DTC/subscription, and multi-channel experience strongly preferred
• Strong communicator; ability to influence cross-functional teams and Leaders across the organization
• Comfortable as a senior partner supporting a team that owns strategic direction

Preferred:

• Experience applying generative AI or LLMs to analytics workflows (insight generation, automation, self-serve)
• Hands-on knowledge of privacy-resilient measurement approaches (server-side tracking, modeled conversions, data clean rooms)
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt) and BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)

About You

We are seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Measurement to define and lead how performance is measured across the business. This role defines both what we measure and how measurement is experienced, ensuring our approach is modern, scalable, and embedded into how decisions are made. 

This role is part of the Enterprise Measurement Center of Excellence and operates at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, aligning Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations around a shared measurement approach. You will elevate measurement maturity across the organization through clear standards, governance, and enablement, and drive adoption through influence rather than authority.

This role is critical to establishing enterprise-level measurement rigor, formalizing metric governance, and improving the speed, clarity, and accessibility of insights across the organization. Success requires moving beyond dashboards to build measurement systems that shape how the organization prioritizes investments, evaluates performance, and drives growth.

You’ll report into the SVP, Enterprise Measurement & Business Management, and will oversee a team of three across Business Intelligence. 

Responsibilities:

Enterprise Measurement & Strategy 

• Define and maintain north star metrics and KPI hierarchies across the business
• Establish standardized measurement frameworks for key initiatives (growth, retention, product, channels)
• Partner with leadership to translate business goals into clear success metrics, guardrails, and OKR alignment
• Require that all major initiatives are defined by clear success metrics, KPI structures, and measurement plans prior to execution

Metric Governance & Accountability

• Establish and enforce enterprise metric governance, including ownership, definitions, and change management
• Define clear accountability for metric integrity across teams and systems
• Serve as the central authority for metric definitions and measurement standards across the organization
• Ensure consistent application of metric definitions across reporting, planning, and decision-making

Decision Systems & Insights

• Design measurement outputs for decisions, not just visibility
• Build KPI trees and diagnostic frameworks that enable root-cause analysis and action
• Translate performance into clear narratives, tradeoffs, and recommendations for leadership

Standardization, Scale & Data Partnership

• Reduce reliance on custom analysis through reusable frameworks and standardized logic
• Partner closely with Data Engineering leadership to align measurement frameworks with underlying data architecture and platform capabilities
• Ensure measurement frameworks are embedded into core data models and systems

Measurement Products & Innovation

• Shift the organization away from dashboard-centric reporting toward faster, more dynamic insight delivery
• Partner on the adoption of modern technologies (AI, automation, self-serve interfaces) to improve speed and accessibility of insights
• Ensure measurement use cases are clearly defined and prioritized to inform technology investments
• Introduce self-serve measurement experiences that minimize reliance on analyst-driven workflows

• Metric definitions are standardized, governed, and consistently used across teams
• Clear ownership and accountability exists for all core business metrics
• Leadership aligns on success metrics before initiatives launch, not after results are in

Requirements:

• 10–15+ years of experience in analytics, measurement, or data strategy roles, with a progression into senior leadership
• Background in eCommerce is required; D2C, subscription, or multi-channel business experience (eCommerce, Amazon, retail, B2B) is preferred 
• Experience across modern analytics ecosystems, including BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI), marketing and product analytics platforms (e.g., CDPs, attribution, experimentation), and emerging capabilities (automation, self-serve, AI), with a focus on moving beyond dashboard-centric reporting
• 6+ years of people management experience, including hiring, coaching, and succession planning
• Strategic and systems-oriented, able to connect business goals to measurement design
• Proven experience establishing measurement frameworks and governance in environments lacking standardization
• Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and enforce standards across cross-functional stakeholders

About You

We are seeking an experienced dietary supplement formulator to join the Nutrafol Formulation team. You will serve as a primary formulator for Nutrafol supplements, evaluating the functional ingredient landscape to identify novel ingredients with strong science, potency, bioavailability, and regulatory clearance. You will evaluate internal and third party scientific research as it pertains to human physiology, nutrition science, and mechanisms of action that connect the ingredients to the structure and function of the hair and/or skin. You will be accountable for staying up-to-date on functional ingredient innovation (internal and external) and competitor advancements, translating those insights into differentiated formula profiles, along with ensuring ingredient-level benefits can be substantiated. A successful candidate will be able to bridge their strong science background into actionable recommendations for product development, along with sharing complex scientific material to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director of Formulation and will interface across multiple departments at Nutrafol, within Unilever, and with external physicians with the goal of advancing Nutrafol’s scientific expertise and thought leadership in the hair wellness space.

Responsibilities:

Supplement Formulation:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new ingredients and technologies for potential use in products
• Propose ingredients or technologies and dosages that can deliver against the intended consumer end-benefit
• Work closely with raw material vendors to identify emerging ingredient technologies and whitespaces for innovation
• Translate internal innovation findings into unique and differentiated formulations
• Match root cause and mechanism of action understanding with novel innovative functional dietary supplement ingredients
• Work with suppliers and Supply Chain to develop exclusive ingredients and ingredient technologies depending on project and product needs

Supply Claim Substantiation:

• Synthesize scientific research and translate into substantiated claims/benefits for dietary supplements
• Develop and lead the strategy for substantiating ingredient level and mechanism of action and root cause claims across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with regulatory, scientific, and marketing requirements
• Document root cause and ingredient claims substantiation into appropriate dossiers and science presentations
• Partner with the internal Innovation, Clinical/Medical, Product Development, and Regulatory teams on understanding the ingredient level data and additional bridging data needed for launch claims
• Collaborate with Product Development and internal teams to translate complex science into accurate, consumer-facing claims
• Partner closely with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Clinical/Medical, Marketing, and External Partners to ensure claims are credible, compliant, and differentiating
• Serve as a subject matter expert to advise cross-functional teams on claim feasibility, positioning, and evidence requirements

Scientific Rationale and Understanding:

• Collaborate with the innovation team and medical advisors to identify biological mechanisms of action and root causes based on scientific literature
• Stay current on consumer health and wellness trends and translate them into actionable insights for R&D
• Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape from a formulation, ingredient, format, and claims perspective
• In partnership with Clinical and Medical, Product Education, and Brand Marketing, provide guidance and scientific substantiation for ingredient, mechanism of action and root cause narratives for the consumer

Cross-Functional and Operational Excellence:

• Communication of data, including preparation of presentations to all levels of the organization
• Work with patent attorneys to provide scientific content in drafting new patents for novel supplement formulations and technologies
• Effectively partner with cross-functional peers in Product Development, Innovation, Clinical and Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain departments
• High level of organization and responsiveness for record keeping/data management for reports, NDAs/CDAs, supplier/external materials and internal presentations/data
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring all meet deadlines
• Propose new ways of working and new processes to enhance formulation development efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Advanced degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Nutrition Science, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related scientific discipline with established experience
• 5-10 years of experience in dietary supplement industry
• Proven track record in developing formulations for successful product launches
• Supplement product claim substantiation experience required
• Substantial network in the functional ingredient supplier industry, with broad and deep knowledge of suppliers and their catalogs and capabilities
• Skin, hair and scalp biology knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with functional and active ingredients for hair growth, scalp health, hair strand health and performance, and skin/scalp health is preferred
• Working knowledge of the current and evolving U.S. dietary supplement regulatory landscape; knowledge of international regulatory requirements a plus
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks on time with a high degree of accuracy

This candidate must possess the ability to deliver/exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales plans, while communicating and collaborating daily with internal teams. Ideally, this candidate is experienced in hair and wellness, with a deep understanding of an open-sell, multi-branded environment. While Nutrafol is a remote company, this field role requires an on-site presence in Ulta locations in the assigned territory (Southeast). Candidates for this role should be based in the Tampa, Florida area.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of product sell out and education to achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual targets.
• Work closely with Regional Sales Manager to drive seasonal marketing and event programs, raising brand awareness, and new customer acquisition. 
• Effectively launch and drive brand awareness at Ulta, while maintaining day to day business.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and communicate them to the Regional Sales Manager to ensure Nutrafol can succeed in a competitive, ever-changing retail environment
• Closely monitor promotions, events and activations with the Regional Sales Manager.

Nutrafol is looking for a data-driven and strategic Senior Manager of Digital Product Analytics to lead analytics for Nutrafol.com and the Nutrafol App. This role will drive insights that shape roadmap prioritization, optimize conversion and retention, and ensure accurate measurement across web, subscription, and app experiences.

You will own ecommerce business and content strategy reporting for Nutrafol.com and the app. Additionally, you will oversee the CRO analytics practice including opportunity identification, test design support, and readouts of A/B test results. 

This leader will oversee one Senior Associate Analyst responsible for weekly business reporting and will partner closely with Product, Growth, Engineering, CRM, and Marketing to create insight-driven digital experiences that accelerate growth.

Responsibilities

Digital & Ecommerce Analytics

• Own KPI frameworks for ecommerce and subscription performance (traffic, CVR, AOV, churn, retention, cohorts).
• Build and maintain dashboards in Tableau and Mixpanel; guide eventual migration to GA4 where applicable.
• Translate complex data into clear narratives—explaining why performance shifts occur and recommending next steps.
• Support analytics needs tied to the GA4 reimplementation (requirements gathering, validation through analysis, funnel mapping, reporting checks).
• Partner with Retention Analytics to unify ecommerce, subscription, lifecycle, and CRM insights.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses and opportunity sizing to support roadmap prioritization.

Experimentation & CRO

• Identify high-impact CRO opportunities across web and app experiences.
• Develop strong hypotheses, define success metrics, and guide test design.
• Run post-test analyses (lift, significance, segmentation) and deliver clear insights and recommendations.
• Drive a consistent, insight-led experimentation operating model across Digital Product.

Reporting & Insights

• Oversee weekly and monthly reporting for website and app performance.
• Guide the Senior Associate in maintaining ongoing Excel/GSheets reporting and build recaps for executive shareouts.
• Identify gaps in analytics and build scalable dashboards to improve clarity and visibility.
• Lead opportunity sizing for roadmap initiatives to help prioritize projects in an impact vs. effort analysis.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Manage, coach, and develop the Senior Associate Analyst.
• Partner with Product Managers to bring data-driven clarity into roadmap decisions.
• Collaborate with SEO, Growth, and Lifecycle teams on shared KPIs and integrated insights.
• Present insights, test readouts, and performance updates to Product, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
• Own Fullstory and Mixpanel contract and vendor needs.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in digital product analytics, ecommerce analytics, or growth analytics, preferably at a DTC or subscription-based company.
• Proven experience in CRO, A/B testing strategy, and test readouts.
• Expert proficiency with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and event-based analytics.
• Strong experience with subscription analytics: retention, churn, cohort modeling, CLV, subscriber acquisition.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, FullStory, Tableau and Mixpanel; SQL a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs, digital funnels, attribution, and experimentation methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to turn data into compelling insights and recommendations.
• Experience managing or mentoring analysts preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
