The Operations Manager provides leadership and supervision to a highly efficient, multi-station production department. We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Senior IT Administrator to be the dedicated on-site IT presence for our College Park office and the primary technical resource for two nearby satellite lab locations. This critical role involves providing hands-on support across the entire IT spectrum, including end-user helpdesk, A/V management, networking, and critical project work.

Responsibilities:

Onsite IT Operations and End-User Support

• Primary Technical Liaison: Serve as the dedicated, primary technical point of contact for the main College Park office, providing scheduled, expert support visits to two satellite lab locations in the region.

We are seeking an OSS Test & Automation Engineer to join the team responsible for developing our core network platform – OSS. In this role, you will act as the primary owner of OSS workflow automation development and test engineering. Your primary focus will be to build, test, document and maintain automation processes executed within the OSS platform - covering network operations, service assurance, reporting, and partner integration workflows. The Role

This position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. The Senior Maintenance Technician assists the Maintenance Manager in routine and preventative maintenance of all equipment within the facility, as well as general cleaning and upkeep of the facility itself as assigned. Responsibilities

• Perform major building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs, troubleshooting & preventative maintenance as necessary
• Lead in construction, fabrications, refabrication, preventative, routine, and breakdown maintenance and repairs on all equipment and infrastructure in the facility
• Perform routine filter cleaning and replacement activities on HVAC units and other equipment throughout the facility
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
• Complete work orders as assigned
• Will develop a high level of knowledge concerning equipment in the facility

Under the guidance of the management team, you will produce, package, and handle products, perform inventory duties, adhere to compliance requirements, and keep safety as your top priority while working daily in our facility. As a process manager you will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, influencing and educating our customers, developing sales & production strategies, maintaining budget/sales forecasts and manage the overall execution of the sales plan.  You thrive in a growth, gritty environment and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive in. Responsibilities 

• Oversee all functions of the sales lifecycle including sales forecasting, direct relationship management and development, negotiation of buying agreements and lead conversion, deal evaluations and approvals 
• In partnership with CGM, develop annual and quarterly revenue plans, prepare monthly sales reports by product and channel to evaluate brand and product performance and develop annual and quarterly sales plans. 
• Ensure stores have proper inventory levels through sales tools, smart communication and in-store visits 
• Understand and provide insights on sales drivers and recommend new opportunities to drive incremental growth 
• Attend cannabis industry trade shows, conferences, conventions, and other professional events in an effort to stay current on industry trends as well as to interact with potential and existing customers. 
• Partner with Finance and Operations on the following activities: forecasting activities, developing revenue targets, budgeting and developing sales operations processes and compensation plans. 
• Monitor the market to observe emerging trends and competition. 
• Work with Branding and Marketing teams to develop advertising strategy and promotional activities. 

Qualifications  

• Bachelors degree preferred but not required
• 5+ years of outside sales preferably in consumer packaged goods (food & beverage, preferred) 
• 2+ years direct people management experience 
• Knowledge of cannabis industry, regulations, market trends and competition highly preferred 
• Demonstrated experience of exceeding sales quotas

SOUS CHEF

[Restaurant Shift Leader]

$18 - $21 / hour depending on experience + $2-3/hour in tips +  MORE BENEFITS!

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

As a Sous Chef, you will support our Restaurant Leaders to drive culinary and hospitality excellence in our scratch-based kitchen. With a genuine love for cooking delicious food, you will work to master every DIG station by consistently executing recipes, processes, and procedures and training actively to elevate the knowledge of the whole restaurant. Our Chefs-In-Training look to you for guidance because you invest in their growth, lead during peak service, resolve guest concerns and serve as a vital resource on culinary & systems best practices. You will take initiative as a leader & role model in the kitchen by participating in pre- shifts, shift management, and training & will be held accountable to ensuring tasks across the restaurant are completed on time and to standard. The Sous Chef role is an hourly position and a great opportunity to learn the business and grow with DIG! 

YOU WILL: 

• Elevate and motivate Chef’s-in-Training by modeling culinary expertise, warm hospitality, and a great attitude.
• Train fellow teammates on each station, following station diagrams, pars & station prep to ensure consistency.
• Demonstrate mastery of every station by consistently executing all seasonal menu offerings according to the recipes, procedures, and standards of The Pantry. 
• Manage prep lists, waste logs and participate in food inventory while staying in close contact with your Chef de Cuisine to ensure your walk-in is fully-stocked and organized. 
• Learn all restaurant ordering systems [Food, paper etc] to support the CDC in maintaining appropriate pars needed for service. 
• Run and execute successful restaurant shift management by writing a smart deployment, delegating work appropriately to the team and following scheduled deployment and breaks.
• Successfully open and close the restaurant using the checklists and thorough communication with the previous days leaders to best prepare for a steady shift. 
• Participate in team building through interview shadowing, contributing to the Chef’s table agenda, providing feedback to CITs, and leading preshift. 
• Operate the expeditor / computer station to ensure that food presentation and order accuracy is met for all walk-in, pick-up and delivery orders. 
• Troubleshoot and create solutions regarding guest concerns, digital ordering, and equipment maintenance.
• Help to maintain the “A” lettergrade by following Department of Health and DIG food safety standards. 
• Demonstrate professional maturity and strictly uphold DIG’s anti-discrimination & anti-harassment policies. 

YOU HAVE:

• 1+ year leadership experience in a culinary environment. 
• The ability to perform physical requirements of the position (frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds). These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Food Safety Certification. 
• A desire to create exceptional employee & guest experiences.
• An eye for detail and solving challenges. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Summary: The Area Operations Manager (AOM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of their assigned student run cafes in each of the Three Pillars (team development, community leadership, and financial management). Success in this role is a passion for developing, coaching, and supporting the Student Cafe Executive Officers (SCEOs) each semester for the cafe(s). This multifaceted position calls for a proactive individual with a whatever it takes attitude, ready to take on the varied day-to-day opportunities and challenges.

What You Will Own

• Coaching & Development: Train and develop Student Chief Officers to lead operations at their prospective campus cafe each semester. 
• Talent Pipeline: Interview and hire roles across the cafe to ensure the team is fully staffed to meet operational demands and identify and develop exceptional talent for leadership roles.
• Cafe Standards: Remain up-to-date on all cafe operations in order to train and coach on all cafe roles. Make SOPs easily accessible to the team and maintain operational integrity by ensuring team members are following all listed steps. Ensure SCEOs are following progressive discipline policies and issuing Coaching & Counseling forms when necessary, as well as advise and assist with involuntary terminations. Hold SCEOs accountable to consistent communication channels with their team. 
• Guest Experience: Conduct regular quality assurance checks, audit performance to look for and correct inconsistencies in execution, and maintain a culture of hospitality within the cafe.
• Financial Management: Review, provide feedback, and approve weekly schedules to ensure labor hours are both aligned with demands and stay within budgeted expenses, coach SCEOs on how to read and act upon Profit & Loss statements, and present and defend P&L during reviews for assigned cafes. Produce and assign Labor Models to assigned cafes. 
• PARS & Inventory: Ensure accuracy in inventory counts and review and approve Orders & PARS Inventory Worksheet for all assigned cafes.
• Partner Management: Represent Saxbys as the main point of contact for College & University Campus Partners:, Dining Service Partner leads, Auxiliary Services, Residential Life, etc. to ensure day to day operations run smoothly and maintain Campus Resource Guide with up-to-date information.
• Cafe Openings: Manage café setup and initial grand openings as the Operations lead, working closely with all departments to ensure a successful start. 
• Local and Competitive Marketplace: Stay current with industry trends, local competitors, and community updates that may have an impact on the business in order to take a proactive approach when it comes to managing cafe operations.
  
  

Who You Will Support

• Marketing: Provide intel on opportunities on campus through research and communication with partners. Support SCEO through the refinement of the Campus Marketing Plan to focus efforts on  highest potential ROI and ensure execution of key dates and deliverables. 
• Head of Area Operations: Assist with academic partners, requested reports, and special projects.
• Recruiting: Nominate, vet, and assist internal student candidates in the SCEO pipeline, complete final interviews for candidates, and effectively communicate hiring needs to Campus Recruiters. Participate and collaborate on initiatives to increase the candidate pool.
  
  

Who You Will Supervise

This position oversees between 1-4 direct reports.

What Success Looks Like

• All assigned cafes operate at or above budgeted revenue
• All assigned cafes operate at or above budgeted NOI
• 30%+ of the cafe staff are Team Leads
• 100% of SCEOs are hired by March 31 for the fall semester or October 31 for the spring semester.
  
  

What Else is Required

• Support, exhibit, and promote Saxbys Mission and Core Values in all daily activities. 
• 2+ years of proven leadership & developing talent within a customer facing environment OR a minimum of 6 months as a Saxbys Student leader
• Food & Beverage or Retail experience is a plus (not mandatory) 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding passion for hospitality and servant leadership
• Experience managing teams and processes effectively 
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time 
• Valid drivers license 
• Physical requirements:
• Able to stand, walk, and smile for extended periods of time
