We’re looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Data Services team in Luxembourg.
This is a senior player-manager role at the intersection of technical leadership, commercial delivery, and client engagement. You’ll lead a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Senior BI Engineers, and Data Analysts, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients, from scoping and prioritisation through execution and impact. This is not a purely managerial role. You’ll stay hands-on, building, debugging, and shipping solutions when speed demands it or technical complexity requires your senior judgment. We’re looking for someone who pairs deep technical fundamentals in data, engineering, statistics, and ML with a modern, AI-assisted way of working. You use AI tools to move faster and think bigger, but your instincts and quality bar are rooted in genuine technical mastery, not reliant on it. You can tell when an AI-generated output is wrong, why it’s wrong, and how to fix it. You’ll partner closely with IT to ensure the infrastructure, tooling, and delivery pipelines your team relies on are robust, scalable, and fit for purpose.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing mixed technical teams.
• Strong technical fundamentals: advanced SQL, solid Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn or equivalent), familiarity with cloud data environments (BigQuery, AWS), and a clear understanding of how data systems work end-to-end. You don’t need AI tools to solve hard problems, you use them to solve them faster.
• Solid working knowledge of ML and AI: core ML concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, classification, regression, clustering, recommendation, anomaly detection), critical evaluation of model quality, and judgment on when and how to apply ML/AI to real business problems. You’ve moved models beyond notebooks into production or decision-support tools.
• Demonstrated AI-assisted working practice, active, intelligent use of AI coding assistants and automation tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, n8n, LangGraph) with proper review, testing, and validation discipline.
• Experience running light Agile/Scrum practices in a data or analytics team, JIRA administration, backlog management, sprint facilitation, and standups. You keep process proportionate.
• Genuinely hands-on, you can independently write, debug, and ship production-quality work, and step in across the team’s full stack when needed.
• Proven ability to lead client-facing engagements, scoping, managing expectations, presenting solutions, and building trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen, turning analytical and ML/AI work into scalable, repeatable products or service offerings.
• Strong applied knowledge of statistics, measurement, and experimentation, with the ability to defend methodology and model choices in a client context.
• Excellent communication skills, translating technical and AI complexity into clear narratives for business leaders, clients, and executive audiences.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

The Littlepay Platform Team provides tooling and support for our Engineering organisation, owns shared and fundamental services, and collaborates with teams for their DevOps or infrastructure projects. Joining the Infra side of the team, you’ll be working closely with your Infra team mates and with the Platform Devex team on build systems, production support, and PCI-compliant infrastructure. You’ll encourage and support DevOps practises through tooling, vendor management and support. We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer to join our Data Services team in Luxembourg. This role is ideal for someone with a strong Python background, solid AWS experience, and working knowledge of Java, who enjoys building, debugging, and productionizing internal tools and data-driven applications.
A core part of this role will be maintaining and enhancing tools for data scraping and collection, including the use of scripts, APIs, proxies, personas, and automation workflows.
