HelloFresh is seeking a  weekend senior produce  procurement buyer to work directly with the operations manager to ensure food buying across the organization is tracked and managed efficiently. This position is Full-Time covering a Friday - Monday  schedule (4 x 10 hour days).

The procurement team collaborates closely with all distribution centers to guarantee timely and accurate shipment of every box. There is a large group on the procurement team dedicated to making this goal achievable. Procurement is divided into various commodity categories, with this role being a part of the produce team. Other commodity groups encompass grocery, dairy, market, protein, and packaging. In support of this effort, procurement provides assistance to distribution centers seven days a week. While most orders are delivered on weekdays, due to the perishable nature of food, we require assistance in procuring ingredients during weekends as well. This is where you come in! 

You will … 

• This is a weekend role. You will be responsible for the following activities on a Friday - Monday (Weekend 4 x 10s) Schedule.
• Own purchasing and inventory management activities for a variety of food or packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), ensuring the right product is at the right place at the right time while considering cost targets, contracted suppliers, quantity needed and logistical parameters.
• Manage key weekly operations processes including placing POs, tracking freight, managing production issues, paying invoices, analyzing data and managing inventory and capacity levels.
• Collaborate and own relationships with various HelloFresh distribution centers, warehouse locations, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and inventories match demand requirements to guarantee punctual deliveries and maintain inventory levels that align with production schedule. When needed, holding suppliers accountable to on-time delivery and excellent quality.
• Collaborate closely with HelloFresh distribution centers and suppliers. Resolve any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing or quality/performance quickly and professionally.
• Lead and facilitate team meetings with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure their readiness for success each weekend.

This role is onsite 5 days a week in Hodgkin, IL

About the Role

The ICQA Specialist will be responsible for overall inventory accuracy and managing shrinkage , including investigating customer complaint cases related to the inventory issues within the Fulfillment Centers.  The location will be in Hodgkin, IL

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and improve inventory accuracy and ensure inventory count completeness
• Oversee physical inventories, cycle counts, and audit reconciliations
•  Investigate inventory variances and assist in resolving/reducing discrepancies, 
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g. receiving, merchandising, customer service, etc.) to resolve inventory issues.
• Monitor inventory key metrics and provide accurate and comprehensive inventory performance reports.
• Responsible for ensuring proper handling of problem products (e.g. ensuring correct inventory adjustments)
• Must have the ability to investigate discrepancies in the cooler / freezer .

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics or manufacturing preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience with warehouse operations or WMS systems preferred
• Experience in reporting and analyzing operational performance in order to implement recommendations
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement
• Experience in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions and implementing recommendations
• Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills
• Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
• Experience with excel / google sheets is preferred.

Compensation Range

The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee logistics and supply chain projects within our 3PL operations. This role requires a strong team player who can collaborate cross-functionally while leading project initiatives. You’ll manage client projects, streamline processes, and ensure timely, cost-effective project execution. Responsibilities:

• Ensure the warehouse operates at maximum efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by managing, organizing, training, and providing direction for a team of warehouse employees.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities 

• Supervise the warehouse's daily activities, including order fulfillment, quality assurance, inventory control, and logistics coordination.

• Work directly with our Customer Support and Account Manager teams to ensure client deliverables are met.
• Oversee dynamic and changing customer needs such as special packaging, kitting, and bundling projects.
• Lead a highly productive and engaged team while removing obstacles to drive operational efficiencies. 
• Support new client onboarding and creative fulfillment processes.
• May be required to perform other duties to meet the organization's ongoing needs.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with the internal team regarding client projects. 
• Present progress updates and resolve issues in real time.
• Identify process improvement opportunities (efficiency, cost reduction, accuracy).

What You’ll Bring to the Team (Required Skills & Abilities):

• 5+ years experience leading an operations team in a warehouse environment
• Ability to learn new technologies and custom proprietary software quickly  
• Ability to hire, coach, train, and manage a team of 10 to 50 employees 
• An ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced changing environment
• Detail Oriented, Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
