Hummingbird is a remote-first, fully distributed team united by the shared mission of helping fight financial crime. Since our launch in 2017, we’ve helped major financial institutions and tech-savvy trailblazers alike (e.g. Stripe, Affirm, Evolve Bank etc.) orchestrate their compliance programs through our thoughtfully designed, intuitive SaaS product. We believe finding and stopping financial crime is a problem rooted in code, language and design, so we built the product that the heroes doing this work deserve.
We are customer-obsessed, and we love building and shipping great products. We set a high bar, challenge our assumptions, seek diverse opinions, and support each other to do our best work.
About the role
At Hummingbird, we want to build better software to fight financial crime. Our engineering team is responsible for making that a reality. They dive deep into the problems that make financial crime fighting so difficult and design flexible, scalable solutions that empower our customers to catch the bad guys. Our product sits at the intersection of financial technology, data science, security, policy, law enforcement, and design. As employees at a small startup, software engineers at Hummingbird have the opportunity to wear many hats and learn and grow across a multitude of dimensions.
The Trust team owns the platform that everything else runs on. As a Senior Software Engineer on Trust, you'll work on the infrastructure, security, and platform systems that keep Hummingbird reliable, secure, and ready to scale — including tooling and systems to support our growing base of enterprise customers with complex deployment and compliance requirements.

This is an opportunity to run a field engineering team, helping customers understand and implement Canonical's open source solutions in public clouds and in their own data centers. We work across the entire spectrum of cloud offerings, from Ubuntu itself to virtualisation and private cloud, Kubernetes, and the implementation of sophisticated open source solutions such as MLops platforms, data platforms and more. We are rapidly expanding the range of open source solutions we offer and deliver to customers, as we move into new industries like telco, finance, health care and media we design and develop new open source solutions to meet their needs.
We believe that Engineering Managers should be outstanding engineers themselves. They should feel completely at home troubleshooting technical issues and having technical presales conversations with customers. They should contribute to project delivery themselves, but know that the technical contributions they bring are far less significant than their ability to shape the whole team’s direction, focus and delivery. We grow management skills and train engineers, who are interested in soft skills, to be managers.
We believe that open source is just starting to transform the tech sector and enterprise compute. Our goal is to make open source easier, more reliable and more secure for deployment and development. We strive to be the provider of ‘most software to most companies’. To deliver on that ambition, our engineers are carefully selected from the applicants across the globe. We select for brilliance and motivation to take open source to the next level. Our engineering managers help teams achieve more than they realised they could, and feel proud of the result.
The role of a Solution Architecture Manager at Canonical
The Field Engineering team is our team of cloud solutions architects at Canonical, working directly with our customers, designing private and public cloud solutions fitting their workload needs. The portfolio of products includes on-premise cloud solutions such as Openstack, MicroCloud and Ceph, and solutions that could be deployed either on-premises or in public clouds such as Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Spark, PostgreSQL, etc. The team works hands-on with the technologies by deploying, testing and handing over the solution to our support or managed services team at the end of a project. Managers and team members also take part in presales conversations to provide technical advice during the sales process.
A Solution Architecture Manager is responsible for line management and career guidance. The ability to develop engineering talent, to represent your team from a technical perspective, and to drive collaboration with other teams and customers are all critical to success in this role. You are also expected to actively participate in technical presales to help our department achieve our quarterly goals.

For this team we are looking for several Alliances Engineers to support OEM (hardware manufacturers), GSI (global system integrators), ISV (independent software vendors), Channel partners and Public Cloud alliance partners. You will support various alliances and partners of Canonical to adopt our products and technologies, help business leaders to define joint go-to-market programs with partners from the technical standpoint.
We often say that our field engineers have 'the hardest job at Canonical' because customers can ask about any aspect of our solutions and products and expect a thoughtful, well-informed answer. We always want to do the best thing for our partners and customers, regardless of our company interests, and field engineers are the people we trust to ensure that is true.
Location: This is a home-based role, we are hiring worldwide.
If you have a passion for the latest open source technologies, cloud-native development, data center technologies such as Kubernetes and computer networking, you will love the Alliances Architect role at Canonical.
We consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide. We revisit compensation annually (and more often for graduates and associates) to ensure we recognise outstanding performance. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven annual bonus. We provide all team members with additional benefits, which reflect our values and ideals. We balance our programs to meet local needs and ensure fairness globally.

About the Job
As Splitero's Applied AI Engineer, you will own the identification, scoping, and delivery of AI-powered capabilities across our product and operations. You'll sit within the engineering organization but operate cross-functionally, partnering with product, operations, and business teams to identify where AI creates real leverage, then build it. Splitero sits at the intersection of financial services and property technology, and our product and engineering teams are at the center of that innovation every day. In this role, you'll work directly with our sales, processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing teams to identify, scope, and execute opportunities to streamline and automate their workflows as we scale. On the engineering side, you'll champion AI-first development, educate the team on emerging tooling, and lead technical initiatives that drive the organization forward.
You'll spend your time shipping working AI solutions into production by automating workflows, augmenting our product experience, and helping Splitero move faster and smarter as a business. You will have a strong understanding of when supervised AI outweighs the risk of full automation. You're as comfortable standing up a low-code n8n automation as you are writing clean code, and you know when each approach is the right one.
At Splitero, we move fast, and the ideal candidate thrives in that environment. You default to the simplest path to a working solution, prototype quickly using every tool available to you, and have the engineering discipline to know when something needs to be rebuilt properly before it goes to production.
Responsibilities:
Reporting Structure
The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $175,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

About Us
Millions of homeowners in today’s economy are sitting on substantial home equity they are unable to access due to rising interest rates and strict qualification requirements of traditional lenders. That means millions of homeowners can’t convert their hard-earned equity into cash to pay off debt, start a home renovation, or pad their retirement to better their lives.
Splitero co-founders Michael Gifford and David Zvaifler witnessed the problem firsthand throughout their real estate careers. They set out to create a win-win product that could help those homeowners access their home equity but not make monthly payments like traditional financing options. And thus, Splitero was born.
As part of our team, you will join our quest to revolutionize the real estate industry while helping families in need. We offer a suite of benefits designed to help you thrive in all areas of life.
We are a workforce composed of individuals with diverse backgrounds, abilities, minds, and identities. In keeping with our commitment to inclusion, we will ensure that people with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodations. If reasonable accommodations are required when applying, interviewing, or performing the essential functions of this position, please contact People Operations, at peopleops@splitero.com.

About the Job
As Director of Engineering, you will be the most senior engineering leader on the team, reporting directly to the VP of Product & Engineering. You’ll own the technical health, delivery cadence, and team performance of Splitero’s engineering organization, spanning a Salesforce team, a product engineering team, and QA resources.
You'll lead the execution layer, partnering closely with a Lead Engineer (product) and a Manager of Engineering (Salesforce) who handle day-to-day technical work and team management, respectively. Your focus is on the bigger picture of setting engineering strategy, driving architectural decisions across our stack, managing our external vendor relationships, and acting as the connective tissue between engineering teams. You will drive AI-first engineering practices while ensuring team quality and velocity are monitored and maintained as we scale operations and technical verticals. You'll collaborate closely with product leadership as a genuine thought partner who understands that great technology is built around user problems and business impact, not just tickets in a queue.
At Splitero, we move fast, and the ideal candidate thrives in that environment. You are someone who can bring structure without slowing momentum, understands how to balance the trade-offs between engineering excellence and best-in-class user experiences, and measures success by what ships and what it does for the business.

About the Role:
We're looking for a backend engineer who can own and evolve our Ticketing & Ride Request (TRR) system — the service that handles everything from a rider tapping "Request a Ride" to a vehicle arriving at their station. This is a high-throughput, event-driven system where reliability isn't optional; real people are standing on a platform waiting for their ride.
You'll also contribute to the broader backend infrastructure that supports our suite of applications — think message queues, caching layers, database performance, and service-to-service communication. If you've ever been the person on your team who gets pulled into debugging the weird one, you'll feel at home here.
We care far more about how you think than where you went to school or how many years are on your resume. To show us you actually read this posting and aren't auto-applying, start the first sentence of your cover letter with the words "Ride request received." — we'll know you're paying attention.

B12's engineering team views software as a craft, but improving the world as the reason to practice it. Our engineers are responsible for prioritizing, conceptualizing, co-designing, building, testing, and engaging users for any concept we are building out. We’re generalists in encouraging each other to experience the full stack, but we’re also aware of each other’s preferences in the stack. For this role in particular, we’re searching for a full-stack engineer who brings strong backend skills (and an interest in using them) to the product. We mentor and teach where we can, both inside and outside of the company.
We value sharing our work with the outside world. Our team has published papers on forming expert flash teams and machine-mediated worker hierarchies. We’ve baked our research into Orchestra, the system that coordinates our expert and machine teams, and released Orchestra into open source to contribute our software back to the community.
We hope our engineers have more longevity than any one tool we use, but here is a sampling of our current thoughts about technology:
