Overview
The Facility Coordinator supports the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of US Conec’s manufacturing facility by coordinating maintenance activities, vendor services, and facility improvements. for ongoing capital projects in a GMP manufacturing environment. This role involves highpower, industrial electrical activities on utilities and building infrastructure.
You will act as a technical back-checker engineering contractors, validating that designs, specifications, and installations are compliant with NEC, North Carolina codes, and the
company safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Review and approve single-line diagrams, load studies, and power distribution designs
• Validate switchgear, MCCs, transformers, breakers, cabling, grounding
• Verify motor sizing and protection (ex: 200 HP motors, VFDs, starters)
• Ensure compliance with:
o NEC
o State of North Carolina electrical codes
o GMP / EHS standards
• Act as technical lead for engineering firms
• Identify design gaps, safety risks, and non-compliances
• Support construction reviews, redlines, FAT/SAT
• Be the electrical owner rep for capital and brownfield projects
Requirements:
• 10+ years experience in industrial / utilities electrical engineering
