Who we are
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. We meaningfully differentiate pay for our top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time.

In these cases, the job description will clearly indicate any working location requirements. Our goal is to ensure that all members of our team can contribute effectively, whether they are working on-site, in a hybrid model, or fully remotely. Pendo’s Customer Engineering team is the technical backbone of the pre- and post-sales customer motion. The team brings together work that has historically sat across Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Solutions Engineering into one full-lifecycle technical owner. Customer Engineering helps customers connect technical execution to business outcomes and realize the value of their investment in Pendo.
As a Senior Customer Engineer, you own strategic and complex Enterprise accounts across acquisition, implementation, adoption, expansion, and escalation. You lead technical strategy for complex deployments, resolve ambiguous customer challenges, and partner closely with account teams to drive retention, expansion, and customer value. Your impact extends beyond your own accounts through playbooks, coaching, repeatable fixes, and workflow improvements that raise the capability of the broader Customer Engineering team.
This is a remote role supporting a South East territory.
Beyond the qualifications, we hire through a specific lens. These aren't buzzwords; they're the things we'll actually look for in how you talk about your work.
You're a builder, not a maintainer.
You're most energized when there isn't a clear path yet, and you get to define it. You don't wait for direction; you identify gaps, shape solutions, and drive them forward. At Pendo, great Senior Customer Engineers don't just follow instructions; they operate as strategic advisors, influencing decisions, guiding stakeholders, and elevating how we work.
You're AI-curious - genuinely.
You're not using AI tools occasionally. You're rewiring how you work around them. You're faster, sharper, and more prolific because of it, and you bring that energy to everything — how you approach your work, how you prep, how you communicate, how you think. We want someone who sees AI as a multiplier, not a shortcut.
Pendo was founded in 2013 by former product managers, who combined their heads and hearts to build something they wanted but never had as product managers: a simple way to understand and attack what truly drives product success. Our mission is to improve society's experience with software. Come join one of the fastest-growing startups, supported by best-in-class institutions like Battery Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Spark Capital and Meritech.
Pendo Core Values: Bias to Act, Hone Your Craft, The Team is Pendo, and Maniacal Focus.
Location: Remote
Compensation: The expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is $193,393 - $241,742, with a 70/30 base-to-variable compensation split.
Benefits: Pendo offers highly competitive United States benefits, including employer-heavy coverage with $0 premium options, strong 401(k) match, equity, and flexible time off.
EEOC: We are an equal opportunity employer and believe having diverse teams where everyone brings their whole self to Pendo is key to our success. We welcome all people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
Accessibility: Pendo is committed to working with, and providing access and reasonable accommodation to, applicants with mental and/or physical disabilities. If you think you may require an accommodation for any part of the recruitment process, please send a request to: accommodation@pendo.io. We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.
Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.
We operate in the enterprise segment, serving nonprofit organizations across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe.
We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern checkout experience and customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps.
Our backend is powered by Node.js (Koa, NestJS) and MongoDB. The frontend stack includes Webpack, Vue.js, and React, with nearly all code written in TypeScript. For high-throughput messaging and background processing, we use Kafka (for millions of events) and Bull (Redis). Analytics data is stored in ClickHouse, and we use Elasticsearch for search.
We are a distributed team of 160+ product professionals, including 80+ engineers. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus. Many of our developers bring 5 - 10+ years of experience, and we foster a culture of deep technical curiosity and knowledge sharing.
Despite our scale, we operate like a focused team - where every task matters and every voice is heard. We value thoughtful collaboration, strong engineering practices, and a product mindset. You’ll be joining a team where quality, mentorship, and mutual respect come first.
You will join a small team responsible for the stability, performance, and security of our server infrastructure: bare metal, VMs, databases, queues, networking, and infrastructure security. Our philosophy is simple: the team owns its systems end-to-end, and every engineer should be able to diagnose and fix issues in their area of responsibility.
This role is for someone who enjoys working with real infrastructure (OS, hardware/virtualization, networks), not just cloud abstractions.
We understand it’s impossible to be an expert in everything, but it’s important to have solid hands-on experience in two or more of the areas below:

As a Backend Developer, you will be a key architect of the engine that powers our global platform. You'll resolve complex challenges in a high-load, distributed system, building and scaling the infrastructure that processes millions in donations. This is not a maintenance role; it's a high-impact, product-focused engineering position where clean architecture, performance, and reliability are paramount.
You will work on a complex product ecosystem—from our modern checkout experience to donor portals and massive analytics pipelines—all powered by a cutting-edge tech stack.

Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform that powers tens of millions of dollars in donations every month for leading nonprofits — including UNICEF, the Alzheimer's Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. We're known for product quality, performance, and a 4.9/5 rating across top review platforms.
As we scale the core, we're deliberately investing in high-risk, high-upside product bets that could define the future of digital fundraising. That's where the Lab comes in.
The Lab is Fundraise Up's 0→1 track. It operates ahead of the roadmap, investigating opportunities driven by new technologies, AI, data, and infrastructure shifts — often before there's a clear buyer or demand signal.
The Lab does not run scaled products. It finds, validates, and hands off the ones worth scaling.
This is a player-coach role. You'll build and lead the Lab function while personally owning 1–2 of the highest-leverage bets.
Your job is to reduce uncertainty, not ship features. You'll own ideas end-to-end — from hypothesis framing through fast experiments to explicit investment decisions: scale, pivot, or kill. Most ideas should die early. A few may graduate into Core or New Products with strong evidence behind them.
Success = learning velocity, decision quality, and team leverage — not output volume or adoption.
Experience (Must-Have)
This background often comes from: founder/co-founder roles, early-stage startups, internal labs/innovation teams, or new market bets inside larger companies.
Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits and perks, meaningful equity, and a competitive salary:

Fundraise Up is a modern fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits as fast and convenient as possible. We continuously innovate to reduce page load times, boost conversion rates, and support a wide range of payment methods. Each month, people around the world contribute tens of millions of dollars through our platform.
The world’s leading nonprofit organizations trust Fundraise Up. UNICEF-the most prominent UN charity-uses our platform for 100% of its online fundraising. So does the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, and many others. We’re proud to maintain a 4.9 out of 5 rating on leading review platforms.
We serve the enterprise segment, with a primary client base in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.
Our product development team is currently at 150+ and growing. Team members are located across Spain, Serbia, Poland, Portugal, Turkey, Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia. We primarily communicate in Russian.

It’s a dynamic, collaborative environment where smart, curious engineers support one another, share knowledge, and strive for excellence. We encourage open dialogue and host bi-weekly engineering meetups to explore technical topics and showcase team insights.
We are looking for a designer with 7+ years of experience. You must be able to generate multiple solutions, justify them, receive and digest feedback effectively. It's essential to be comfortable with the idea of redoing everything from scratch. If such a request hurts your feelings, then we might not be the right fit – we deeply refine solutions, experiment extensively, and discard many ideas along the way.
It's super important to adhere to all types of agreements.
Proficiency in English at B2 level is required.
Before or after the interview, we may ask you to complete a test assignment. If you are concerned about us "using free ideas for the project," we will compensate you for the task regardless of the outcome (please inform us before starting).
We’re building a strong team of passionate individuals. Everyone brings unique experience and is eager to share it.
There’s no complex hierarchy here — everyone is just a Zoom call away. Nearly all of our financial statistics are open internally, and we regularly share how the product, sales, and support work, where our clients and revenue come from, and what’s new and interesting across the company.

About the Role
This role is the primary owner of how the product team operates. You ensure quality and velocity don't trade off against each other — by building, scaling, and protecting the processes that make good product decisions repeatable.
You'll report directly to the CPO and serve as the main entry point for new Product Ops initiatives — prioritizing, routing, and leading the ones that matter most. You focus on what scales across the whole product team, not what solves a one-off problem for one squad.
The Product Ops team is two people: you and one manager — with plans to grow. This is a genuinely hands-on role — you'll be doing real work, not just directing it. Expect to own processes end-to-end, from design through adoption.
